Yo community! A friend of mine just started a Legal Grow in Germany with his roomate under my Supervision, as it is now Legal to grow in Germany. So I thought about documenting this grow. I've been growing for long time now, but my buddy Bili is a complete newbee at this stuff. I am positive that this "is gonna be huge". We plan on growing 6 plants. Bili is gonna be growing 3 and his roomate also 3 plants. Of course Bili will only care for his own 3 plants and his rommate for the other 3 as it is regulated like that by law. It is Germany where everything has to be like this apparently. lol. This grow will be 2-3 Weeks indoors 51w with low cost 3x17 Watts 4000 k LED Bulbs. (3€ each) Those produce 2500 lumens each, about 147 lm/W 1.45 l pots for the first few weeks indoors. The plants will then go into 5l pots on the window sill until harvest. faced to the south. So far the seeds have been placed into water over night. tomorrow we will put them into the soil. They are all Automatics. Day 2: seeds soaked over night. about 16 hours. The Gelato are already opening their shells.. The others are still closed. All sinked to the bottom over night. We are now planting them into the Soil.:) We soaked 9 seeds. 3x O.B. 4x Kryptonite and 2x Gelato. After cutting the dome off the lamps and counting the LED's (81) it looks like these are 0.21w SMD 31lm per LED (manufacturer says 147lm/w). for bulbs really good little LED's. looks like these are cree 2835 J series or similar types. there are cree 4000k J types that are exactly 31lm wich would be exactly what each LED should produce. (2500/81). Plant in Soil Date was 05 june. 14:00 Today, 2 Days and 10 hours, (58 hours) after planting in soil The 2 Gelatos came to life:) and one Kryptonite basically 3 full days including soaking time. 08.06 at 1:30 is the beginning of VEG Day one We will give them 24 hours light. day 5 after waterglass. Berries still no sign of life. lamp is at 30 cm distance. no signs of stretching. At Day 5 Veg we located the berry seeds and put them into paper towel, cracked them open and scraped the shell. we have enough plants now but nothing to choose from in case a plant has weak genes. So we hope a few berries will make it. probably old Seeds.

Week 3 - 4

Hello Growmies, In the fifth week of vegetative growth, our Epic Buzz by Anesia is coming into its own within the controlled environment of the Tent-X challenge. The latest photograph reveals a lush canopy of green, with plants exhibiting robust health following topping and defoliation. Remarkably, the plants have sailed through these interventions without displaying signs of stress, a testament to their resilience and our attentive cultivation practices. Each Epic Buzz plant now boasts a minimum of six nodes, some even presenting with eight—a clear sign of their readiness for substantial vegetative expansion. The application of 1 liter of a well-formulated nutrient solution, composed of Alga Grow, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, on a tri-weekly schedule, is ensuring these plants are not wanting for nourishment. Turning to the Tent-X graphs, we observe a well-maintained VPD during the day, demonstrating that the controller is effectively managing the tent's climate to optimize plant transpiration and growth. However, the graphs also reveal a challenge with nighttime VPD management. The inability to maintain optimal VPD levels after lights off suggests the Smart Mars Hydro fan isn't adequately managing humidity levels during these crucial hours. This night-time dip in VPD is a concern, as it can lead to a less efficient gas exchange and potentially create an environment conducive to unwanted pathogens. The urgency to connect the Mars Hydro fan to the Tent-X system is underscored by this data, as doing so will likely resolve the humidity management issue and maintain a consistent VPD, crucial for the plants' overnight health and vigor. Aside from this, the daytime VPD control is commendable, with the Tent-X system keeping parameters within the target range, ensuring the plants' transpiration is at its peak efficiency for healthy growth. As we proceed, we'll keep a close eye on the environmental controls, particularly the humidity levels during the night. The integration of the Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system will be a critical step in achieving the perfect grow environment for our Epic Buzz, fostering conditions that support robust growth around the clock. ------------- Week 7 ------------- 3rd week of flowering and it has completely burst loose :) Have already supported her in various places and this already early in flowering. Which we can only applaud. In fact, I think we may have a polyploid plant. Polyploid cannabis is a chromosome-related variation of normal cannabis. It offers the possibility of heavier harvests and stronger effects. You can see this on the 'twin tower' branch as I call it. Where the main bud splits into more buds. Although it could just as well be something else that causes this, although I don't immediately know what. Anyway, more than satisfied with the past week and if you know that the strongest fruit set takes place in the last few weeks, maybewe can expect a very excellent yield.ut let's be careful and wait, until next week!

Seemingly overnight, the A.K. plant overcame Sour Ripper in growth! Been a fun week as far as the plants go, havent needed to water them at all. Ill take a peak into the tent occasionally, witnessed the growth pick up exponentially this week. I noticed the pots are getting pretty light when i was taking these pictures. Will likely water them tomorrow. Notes for those interested: My last grow was RUINED from consistently overwatering and NEVER checking pH of feed water. Everything that could have went wrong as a result, did go wrong. Murphy's Law eh? Just trying to see to it that doesnt happen again. For those interested in the DWC girls, their growth has been nothing less than great 👍. It was less than two weeks ago that i went to the local hydro shop to pick up some hydroguard and damn! Is that shit good or what?! Root rot has been stripped away in almost ALL of my DWC girls, tons of white, happy root growth in their place. Ive decided that i will flip them all either halfway through this week or monday of next. Going to mother both A.K. and S.R. 2-3 weeks into flower transition. Again, great job @RipperSeeds and @Nirvana, really loving this stuff.

Finally flipped the lights over to flower mode and took the humidifier out of the tent. So far so good we are gonna keep watching to make sure we didn't over do the nuts. Don't want any Nut burn that can be annoying. make sure you hit the follow button

This week should be an exciting week of explosive growth. She has started her preflower strech and is currently growing at about an inch a day. I pretty much have her lst set where I want it and will make small adjustments as needed to keep the canopy as level as possible. The new Spectrum King closet case lights have this plant loving life.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. Willkommen in Woche sechs! 🌱 Die fünfte Woche lief perfekt – alle Parameter stimmen. Ich habe die Leitfähigkeit des Wassers auf satte 3000 erhöht und den CO2-Gehalt auf 1200 angehoben 🌿. Die Lichtstärke beträgt jetzt 1400 µmol in der Mitte und 1000 am Rand, was dafür sorgen wird, dass die Pflanzen stark im generativen Zustand bleiben 🌞. Ich werde diese Werte bis Ende der dritten Woche beibehalten und dann langsam damit beginnen, die großen Sonnensegel zu entfernen, damit die Blüten ordentlich Licht abkriegen 💡✨. Zusätzlich probiere ich etwas Neues aus, um den „Emerson-Effekt“ zu aktivieren 🌄: Ich lasse das tiefrote Licht 5 Minuten vor Sonnenuntergang und 5 Minuten nach dem Ende des Tages weiterlaufen. Das sollte der Photosynthese einen letzten Schub geben und das Wachstum der Pflanzen maximal fördern! Bis jetzt sieht alles fantastisch aus! Die Black Cherry ist in verschiedenen Versuchsreihen gut angewachsen, und am Ende des Grows werde ich einen ausführlichen Bericht darüber abgeben, wie sich die beiden Sorten am besten pflegen lassen 🌺👌.

Day 128 it’s good smells sweet and every time I walk into my room it smells like gas Even though quantity is lower then I expected, the trichomes are crazy

Wow oh wow 🤩 to start I’ll say I’ve been very careful watching the feeds timing them almost perfectly! Also was a struggling week with humidity! Lucky I have my tricks to keep it down (no dehumidifier) 😊 I use air control 😉 (in the house) air control in the tent is perfect or next to perfect anyway! The aromas are continuously getting stronger and I am in for a treat! This time is my best time! It just shows! But every next time is my best time as I only get better at this!

Day 42 Just trying to pull through till harvest. Got a couple more weeks to go.

Plants looking happier week by week. Peach Tree and Gary Payton also got their haircut. I pushed the light up to 120W which matches the light intensity recommended by Sanlight for the stage. Will keep it like that until I flip to flower. Recharged the crystals while the sun was shining on the weekend.

I defoliated her, cut away growth at the bottom and leaves on top of the main branches so all budsites will be as much on the same height as possible, shes a bit bright of color wich my other plants dont do with same nutes and setup, i guess its genetics and all normal because flower kicks in. The defoliation also happened to keep the stretch less agressive, i will defoliate again once the stretch stopped at around week 3 when we see the white hairy balls forming.

🙋‍♂️ All them girls looks happy so far. Bit of the flowering stretch is going on. I haven’t done anything last week, except feeding them. I will adjust LST one last time, and i will try not to touch them anymore, while they flower. See ya next week🙏✌️🏼
