I just dont want to waste it. Plants are noticeably more vigorous. I am wondering if now is a good time for my defoliation. i was planning for Week 5. I feel like the buds are to developed for me to be pruning off lower buds and makes me feel like i should have pruned beginning of week4 __________

Day 1 of week 6: 26th Sept Slow start to this week with an update as my phone is broken. Girls looking good but no pics to show.. Day 2 of week 6: 27th Sept Nutes in as usual! Girls looking good and I think the CalMag is working a treat! 🤞🏼 Day 3 of week 6: 28th Sept Just added some pics and a lil vid today to kick this week off after a slow start! Day 5 of week 6: 30th Sept Nutes in again today and some more defoliation due to yellow leaves not getting enough light.. I was a little worried I hadn’t sorted the CalMag deficiency out properly but the girls are looking much happier now I’ve got rid of those yellow leaves and LST’d them a bit more. 😍 Day 6 of week 6, 1st October: Girls looking much happier since yesterday’s removal of yellow leaves and more LST!! They’ve bounced back so nicely!! Happy days 😊❤️ Day 7 of week 6: 2nd October Girls looking good, nutes in for the last time before switching to flower.. Switching to flower 🌹 during week 7 all being well!! Can’t wait to see some cola action!! ❤️, ✌️ and hair grease!

# Amnesia Haze Auto Pheno B by Zamnesia 🌱💚 ## Week 1 | Small Roots, Big Partnerships Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱 Welcome back to another update from the 12/12 From Seed project. Today we're following Amnesia Haze Auto Pheno B through her first week of life. At first glance, she may appear smaller than some of her sisters in the room, but one of the most important lessons in cultivation is remembering that plants do not all develop at exactly the same pace. What matters most during this stage is not size. What matters is health. And so far, this little lady is doing exactly what she should be doing. --- ## A Different Pace Throughout the week, Amnesia Haze Auto Pheno B remained slightly behind some of the larger seedlings in the room. This isn't unusual. Even when plants share the same environment, genetics often express themselves differently during the seedling stage. Some rush forward immediately. Others take a more measured approach. In this particular case, this plant also started a few days behind the rest of the garden after the first germination attempt failed. That one was entirely on me. Growing is a continuous learning process, and occasionally mistakes happen. Fortunately, a second seed was started successfully, allowing this beautiful genetic to join the run. Because of that delayed start, she naturally appears smaller than many of her sisters during this first week. What impressed me most wasn't her size. It was her consistency. Each day brought visible progress. Each new set of leaves emerged healthy. And by the end of the week, she was clearly settling into her new environment and beginning to build momentum. --- ## Building the Foundation Like the rest of this project, she was transplanted directly into her final container filled with Plagron Lightmix. The goal remains simple: Allow the root system to establish itself without the need for additional transplants later in life. While the visible growth above the soil may seem modest, the majority of the work during this stage is taking place underground. Every day the root system expands, explores new territory, and begins building the infrastructure that will support the plant throughout the rest of its life cycle. Healthy roots create healthy plants. Everything begins there. --- ## A Smaller Container, An Interesting Comparison One additional detail that makes this phenotype particularly interesting is her container size. While most plants in this run were transplanted into 15-liter final containers, Amnesia Haze Auto Pheno B was placed into an 11-liter pot. The decision wasn't made because of any concern about the plant itself, but rather as an opportunity to observe how container volume may influence development throughout the grow. Root space plays an important role in plant growth. A larger container provides more room for root expansion, greater water-holding capacity, and a larger nutrient reservoir. A smaller container, on the other hand, can sometimes encourage slightly different growth patterns, potentially influencing plant size, watering frequency, structure, and overall development. At this stage, the difference is unlikely to be significant since the root system is still establishing itself. However, as the weeks progress, it will be fascinating to compare her development against her sisters growing in 15-liter containers. One of the most enjoyable parts of documenting an entire run is being able to observe these small variables and see how they influence the final result. For now, she appears perfectly healthy, and this little side experiment may provide some valuable observations later in the season. --- ## The Mycorrhizal Network One of the most important additions during transplant was the application of mycorrhizal fungi. Although often invisible to the eye, these beneficial fungi create one of the most fascinating partnerships found in nature. Once established, mycorrhizae form a symbiotic relationship with the plant's root system. The fungi attach themselves to the roots and begin extending microscopic networks throughout the surrounding soil. Think of it as a natural underground extension of the root system. The fungal network can access water, minerals, and nutrients that the roots alone may struggle to reach. In exchange, the plant shares sugars produced through photosynthesis. Both partners benefit. The fungi receive energy. The plant gains access to a much larger exploration network beneath the soil. Over time, this relationship can improve nutrient uptake, water efficiency, root development, and overall plant resilience. Nature has been using this system for millions of years. We're simply learning how to work alongside it. --- ## Environment Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week. Daytime temperatures averaged approximately 27°C while nighttime temperatures remained close to 25°C. Relative humidity remained around 55%. The nutrient solution was maintained at pH 5.99 with an EC of approximately 0.46 mS/cm. Root zone and solution temperatures remained close to 21°C. Lighting was provided under the Future Of Grow Black Series LED system operating under the 12/12 From Seed methodology used throughout this project. As always, consistency remains the objective. The seedlings are not being pushed aggressively. They're simply being given a stable environment in which to develop naturally. --- ## First Week Development As the week progressed, the plant continued producing healthy new growth. The first true leaves expanded steadily. Leaf color remained vibrant and uniform. Structure stayed compact. Internodal spacing remained tight. Despite being one of the smaller plants in the room, the overall appearance remained healthy and balanced. Sometimes the smallest seedlings end up becoming some of the most interesting plants later in the grow. And that's part of what makes documenting every stage so enjoyable. Every plant writes its own story. --- ## Looking Ahead The first week is now complete and the foundation is in place. Roots are expanding. The mycorrhizal partnership is beginning to establish itself beneath the soil. New growth is accelerating. And this little Amnesia Haze Auto is starting to find her rhythm. She may be one of the smaller plants in the room today, but there is plenty of time ahead. For now, the objective remains exactly the same: Healthy roots. Healthy growth. And steady progress one day at a time. Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone following along on another seed-to-harvest adventure. Grower's Love everyone. 🌱💚

How RQS Compares to Your Standouts Brothers Grimm (your "otherworldly" stars: Montel Iced Tea, Body Count, Bubbles Blueberry F4, Ricky’s Hash Plant, Black Tangi Tea) These are landrace-influenced, heirloom-style genetics with exceptional resin, unique flavors, and structure. They outperform RQS in quality, potency, and "wow" factor in your tents. RQS tends to be more commercial/hybridized for ease and yield, while Brothers Grimm prioritizes distinctive traits and consistency in experienced hands. Humboldt Seed Company autos (your top autos for resin, especially OG Triploid) Humboldt focuses on West Coast legacy genetics with heavy resin production. Clearly superior to RQS autos in trichome density and overall quality. RQS autos are faster and easier for beginners but often lack the resin "frost" and depth you get from Humboldt. Fast Buds (fast, flavorful, reliable autos — you like them a lot) Excellent speed and flavor profiles. You noted they're in a "different class" — fair point. Fast Buds emphasizes quick cycles and modern hybrids with nice terps, while RQS autos can feel more generic or require more coaxing. Quick Thoughts on Your Observations Brothers Grimm (Montel Iced Tea, Bubbles Blueberry F4, etc.): These are clearly the stars in your current setup. The strong smell, unique leaf morphology, and overall vigor in small pots show they're expressing well under your conditions. They reward careful growing with quality that feels special — resin, flavor complexity, and effects that fit your low-dose, functional style better than most commercial lines. Your homemade cross (Gelato 44 × Bubbles Blueberry F4 pollen = "Blueberry Knockout"): Nice work on your first intentional cross-pollination! Getting viable seeds and decent plants from a garage-level cross is a real win. It’s not "pretend breeding" — it’s exactly how many great lines started. The fact that it turned out "pretty nice" is encouraging. However, as you noted, combining a Royal Queen Seeds Gelato 44 (solid but commercial) with Brothers Grimm Bubbles Blueberry F4 (higher-quality, more unique genetics) creates a hybrid that can show the best of both, but also some inconsistency. If the RQS side brings easier growth but less depth, while the Brothers Grimm side brings the special traits, the offspring can be hit-or-miss depending on which phenos you kept. RQS Gelato 44 / Mike Tyson 2.0 vs. Brothers Grimm: Your experience matches what many growers report. RQS lines are generally more "user-friendly" and higher-yielding for beginners or volume grows, but they often lack the resin density, terpene complexity, and unique expressions you get from Brothers Grimm. The Tyson 2.0 collaboration added hype, but in your tents it landed at 7/10 while Brothers Grimm hit "otherworldly." That gap in quality is why you're leaning toward sticking with the professional, boutique genetics going forward. 3/30 11:17PM Gelato 44 & Punch Pie were nice right off the tree the little buds put me right to sleep last night!! The Autos are 7-10 but the Photos are 8/10

the plants are pretty low because i only got 1square meter coverage with the leds. The plants will stretch enough to fill the net and put on some weight. The video is from day 5 flowering right after i put the net above them, just enough to push the branches a bit open so the light reaches more bud sites.

Hello Diary. At the end of the story, I am very happy with the whole cycle and finally the outcome. 😍 More or less all the information is in the diary, there are really a lot of photos that speak more than words. What I would point out at the end of this story, the Hulkberries were different. One was more developed in width and that eventually had a higher yield as well. He reached a height of 105cm, while the other was more developed in height and grew to 117cm. But the Hulkberry is a great sativa strain, I didn’t have any problems throughout the cycle, I didn’t do any training I just did a little defoliation twice. 👌 The branches were dried for 12 days after which they were finished in jars for another three weeks. In the end I would like to thank the Royal Queen Seeds for making this wonderful strain, Grow Diaries where I can learn, and share something I really love. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and looked at the diary, squeezed the like button or commend the diary. See you soon with new journey.

The first half of pictures are before defoliating a little second half after Just chopped the one pictured above 1.27.18 Aromas are very strong and I would describe it as earthy and pine trees with chem like undertones that will raise the fuzz on ur peaches real quick. The buds packed on the weight in the past two weeks and bulked up heavily. The stalk is built like a brick shithouse even the side branches are holding up easily. On the smaller side due to some training but I expect a decent yield as the lowers on her are pretty developed. Rinsed with R/O H20 after chop mostly to retain moisture and drying at 58%-62% /68°f. Pumped the way this one turned out will update harvest when final numbers can be logged.

Growth is super, despite having splitting and getting a break where I topped due to something falling on the plant. I quickly patched her up with some electrical tape and a cable tie and she recovered within a day! Super resilient plant. She's starting to smell and putting out a few pistils already at the end of week 1 flower!

Starting week 3 with good growth on all three plants but plant 3 is doing the best, she has the longest branches and I've tried them downwards. I also trimmed-off the lowest leaves and branch/future bud sights. The girls look good and I look forward to another week of progress.
