This lady has ended up with a very big size, she's such a nice bush full of sweet stinky colas, tje nuggets are very hard and the resin production is top, very terpy, the aroma is starting to become more and more like cherry 🍒 but with some floral notes. Definitely would love to run her again for sure! 🔝 Very stable strain. The girls are really starting to take off now. They are growing on average 1-2 inches a day. we should start to see clear preflower this week.

Stopped feeding last week.. this strain was loving the Humbolt flower stacker ..she’s got a few days left of flushing ... looking forward to harvest time.. it’s been fun and therapeutic since my bean popped on 4/21

7/16 some plants are showing yellowing in the leaves and one the plants has branches drooping. theyre flimsy as is. same plant is showing airy buds, almost no bud structure. maybe will pack on weight a little bit? probably not 7/18 could be a nitrogen issue. considering theyre autos, i shouldve dialed it back before flower 7/22 plants are still throwing out pistils

So here’s Week 2 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. All in all an easy week but there has been time spent reinforcing a couple of the seedlings because they are so top heavy. I check in on my seedlings at least once a day (oftentimes 2-3 times daily) just to make sure that all equipment is functioning well and temps are stable. Upon looking into the windows of the tent I discovered that the smallest seedling (the one that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves) was tipped right over. I gently supported her with a homemade splint (a tent peg/pipe cleaner combo- pictured above) and she’s currently standing on her own again. She’s still smaller than the others but surviving, not thriving for now. I used some fresh additional soil to fill in any gaps and pack down around the bases of the other three plants’ stems. Speaking of stems/stalks- the three healthy seedlings have peeling/stretching stalks and are starting to push out their first sets of branches. Other than that, same routine as always- watering every fourth day at 1.4 litres per watering or 0.35 of a litre per plant per day. I will be increasing the water sometime over week three. That’s it for now. Mom’s Tip for Week #2- Don’t Over Water! (when growing in soil of course)… When learning to read your plant’s needs, water is a very important factor to consider. I often notice other growers with tiny seedlings sitting in completely saturated pots of soil. Or read that many other growers don’t believe in placing newly sprouted seedlings into their final containers/pots. Both issues being easily resolved by simply paying close attention to your plant’s body language, it’s grow environment and sticking to a schedule. Cannabis truly thrives and benefits from a wet to almost fully dry watering cycle. From my own personal experience with photosensitive strains grown outside in the summer to growing autoflowers indoors through the fall, winter and spring- all of my Cannabis seems to do best when watered every 4th day like clockwork! This schedule is somewhat subjective of course depending on the environment that you are growing in. Here in Canada, much of our year is cool to cold and the humidity is relatively low. Because of this my plants are not always able to take in moisture from the air through their stomas so they suck up more water from what’s readily available in their pots. In other environments (ex. tropical), you may be able to stretch out this cycle- watering every 5-7 days because your plants are pulling so much water directly from the humidity in the air. And how you water your plants matters too. When starting out with newly sprouted seedlings placed into their final containers- less is more. There is no need to completely soak all of the soil in a 5-7 gallon pot. Simply start with a small amount (0.5-1 litre) directing the water to the base of the plant, working your way outwards in a circular pattern. As you increase the amount of water, I try to work my water outwards- making my circle slightly bigger each time I water until eventually I am soaking the soil surface all the way out to the edges of the pot. This process is gradual, stretched over a period of 4-6 weeks. It will encourage the roots to reach for water and allow your plants the time needed to grow into a heavy dose of H2O. Finally, learning to read your plant’s body language will help you to understand when they need and don’t need water as well as food, more/less light, temperature changes, etc. Healthy, well watered plants are generally light green with leaves slightly turned up towards the light/sun. They will be growing/thickening every day and able to support their own weight even in a very breezy environment. Leaves are soft and supple, not dry and brittle and there are usually no marks or discolouration of any kind on the foliage throughout your grow. Water quality is important too but that’s any entirely different tutorial for another time. Bountiful harvests are very possible by simply tweaking your watering schedule to suit your plants’ ultimate needs.

Ho deciso di dare un altra settimana di vegetativa, forse anche due, perché voglio dare il tempo alla pianta di sviluppare i rami e le foglie più resistenti e sviluppati possibile per avere una buona struttura, da cui partire per avere delle belle cime proporzionate, sarà molto difficile tenere in ordine così tante piante geneticamente diverse, perché ognuna so già che crescerà diversamente dalle altre, e dovrò stare attento alle esigenze nutrizionali di ogni pianta, avrà un regime leggermente modificato e vedrò come si comporteranno, anche se cercherò di fertilizzare nel modo più omogeneo possibile e uguale per tutte, vedremo staremo a vedere, ho grandi aspettative soprattutto da queste due genetiche record di thc! Speriamo che tutto proceda per il meglio, ringrazio come al solito Mars hydro per avermi donato il suo equipaggiamento che sta rendendo possibile tutti i miei sogni più proibiti! La lampada per ora è al 65 % circa delle potenza, ma aumenterà di sicuro appena cambierò il ciclo di ore di luce la prossima settimana,... Grazie che vi fermate a vedere i miei diari, per me tutto questo apprezzamento è davvero importante perché nel mio paese (Italia) chi consuma coltiva cannabis è perseguitato alla stregua di un mafioso criminale, nonostante è grazie all auto coltivazione che io nn do più un soldo ai mafiosi, dovrebbero ringraziarci tutti perché stiamo combattendo la criminalita organizzata autoproducendo ciò che altrimenti dovremmo comprare sul mercato illegale... Didn't stretch as much as she might have done which suits me. On target for plenty of compact buds. Taking the Shogun coco nutrient range like a champ. Only issue I've had is having to defoliate more times than I'd like.

At long last, the trimming has finally ended. This diary was started late in her life but the age of her was accurate at the time. We had many outdoor issues with her, some normal and some not so normal. For starters, the mildew was expected with this strain but we grew it anyway and we fought it all season long but in the end she came out of the wash looking pretty clean. It is possible that this could have to do with the fact that the raccoons had a swim in our little pool and upon leaving they tore it. This of course flooded some parts of our yard and this girl soaked up the most of it, she bleached quite a bit but she seemed to recover slowly over the following 5 weeks. Bud rot was not at all an issue and the final months of the outdoor growing season were spectacularly beautiful, most of our trimming took place in the sunshine this year. Please note- there was no time for weighing in nor is it a concern for us.

Vứt nó ngoài trời vậy k biết baoh ra hoa. Tưới nước kệ cụ nó thôi :)) Cuối ngày 15/09 lst. Làm compost tea để mai tưới. Phun lá vitazyme + rong biển theo định kì tuần 1 lần. Tỉ lệ 1,5ml vitazyme+ 0,5 rong biển 17/09: đêm nay sẽ mưa và tôi quyết định sẽ lên thăm cây 1 chút, sau khi tưới compost hồi sáng thì mọi thứ vẫn ổn. Tôi dùng 1,5 nắp rỉ mật cho 8l nước, 1 chút phân trùn quế và vi sinh vật chứa: tricho và bacilus. Sục khí chỉ trong 14-16h khiến tôi quan ngại về vấn đề cháy lá nhưng không, chúng vẫn ổn và có vẻ đang phát triển tốt hơn bao giờ hết. :D 18/09: sau 1 đêm mưa gió sáng hôm sau trời nắng đẹp, tôi quyết định sẽ uốn chúng xuống thêm chút nữa và chúng hồi phục hẳn vào ngày hôm sau. 19/09: do thấy chúng hồi nhanh nên tôi đấm nốt cây bị lưỡng bên cạnh cho hồi 1 thể :)) 21/09: tỉa lá quạt của cây cái và uốn lại cây lưỡng tính. Từ hôm nay trở đi tôi sẽ xịt nhện đỏ bằng nước trắng rửa lá cây vào mỗi buổi chiều. Hết tuần

Week 4 started. Defoliated on day 21. Looks like they're fine with it 😉 The smell is ridiculous. I cannot touch them without them stinking like crazy (and me with them). Got that frost going on, hope they'll keep it coming!

So ready to harvest and dry those already, but must be patient. They are getting close but not quite ripe yet. They are taking a little longer than I expected, But at least they are continuing to swell up.

It was a busy week full of events. I got them a 600 watts HPS light and microbes to help them grow faster. I finally started the trellis netting to even the canopy and get more from the lights and I also spray the plants again for bugs. I found out that I've been using powder nutrients on my reservoir and that's probably why I've been getting floods two or tree times a week and now the valve is open only when I'm there, because I'm sick of cleaning and I took that little sick plant out. My cats have her now.
