D36 - The first day in the first week of flower. The girls look healthy overall, although there are a couple of minor issues. A single leaf on the first girl has some discolored spots. I used a loupe to look closer at it but couldn't see any pests, so I'm not sure what the issue might be. On the other hand, the second girl has light-colored leaf tips on the topmost growth. It reminds me of light bleaching, but I checked with the meter, and it was only reading 400 PPFD, so I doubt that is the issue. There are a few light-colored tips on the first girl's top as well, but it is less pronounced than on the second girl. Minor issues for sure, but I'll keep my eyes on them. I did some additional LST to keep the girls squat and bushy, and I gave each 1.25-liters of water @ pH 6.2 with 25 ml EM-1. D37 - I decided to remove the spotty leaf, and took a look with the microscope but couldn't really see anything. D38 - More LST D40 - Even more LST D41 - Just pics today. I haven't spotted any more spotted leaves (Ha), and the light-colored tips haven't progressed. So far so good... D42 - We're at the end of the first week of flower, and all is well. I did minor defoliation on the lower branches, removing fan leaves that weren't getting any light, and continued with the LST to maintain a flat canopy. I finally turned on the Blumat system since the soil had dried out enough to be in a reasonable range. I need to monitor it for the next few days, ensuring it runs correctly. The pH of the water in the reservoir is 6.7. I also increased the amount of light the girls are getting to around 550-600 PPFD at the canopy level.

Todo y habiendo unas temperaturas en el exterior de 0ºC en el interior se está bastante bién. 😋 Así de primeras diria que esta luminaria me parece de lo mejorcito que he tenido nunca, reparte la luz como ninguna otra penetrando mucho mejor. Otra es la comodidad para bajar o subir la potencia y la posibilidad de añadirle un controlador que monitorea la temperatura de la sala de cultivo, el fotoperiodo y la intensidad, así como la atenuación de potencia. Esta semana cansado de ir bajando o subiendo la potencia del extractor durante todo el año he decidido probar un SMSCom Smart Controller. De esta manera espero no sufrir tanto por las subidas ni por las bajadas de temperatura. Muchas veces son las que por A o por B descuido el interior y casulamente son los dias que el tiempo cambia repentinamente. Un primer foliar con Delta9 para que se pongan fuertes para lo que les viene.

Last day of veg ( 18/11 ) all plants had a few leaves snipped here and there, plants looking the healthiest I’ve ever seen them, responding very well to the HST given throughout the week, all ready to switch 12/12 tomorrow morning!

FBT2309 had a little ph issue this week. She got a few spots on the look leaves from it. I have corrected the issue. Organo mineral nutrition is a lot more difficult to do in a hydro application. I am doing my best to try, and control it. I believe my nutrition is a bit too strong. Besides that she is growing great under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She should start stretching soon. Which is good she is quickly loosing space from the flowering plants around her. She has been trained and is ready to start another week. The one plant that has always been under the cobbs is a couple of weeks ahead. They are all fattening up and the smell is great. Humidity in the tent has dropped, this is due to the outside weather changing and running a 6" fan 24/7. I may start the flush on the one plant, will decide in a few days. Cheers

So, I keep my EC around 1.9-2.0, that represents about 3ML/L of sensi bloom a and b I thought I had some big bud left, but no, I'm tempted to use it again, because as much as I'm a fan of Advanced Nutrients, the price and the volume of fertilizer to use in their systems make them a money pit. So I'm thinking of using Athena for the RDWC and keep AN for my drip system and coco. To replace I think of the booster PK of Athena which is applicable from the 21 -th day of bloom. For the LEDS, I went to 70% intensity, or 1000 ppfd. All good, I will go to 80% MAX recommendation of SANlight without c0² in week 3. I put a first net, I placed about 1 apex per square and I will now let it grow, I don't "knit". I will install a second net at the 21 -th day of flowering which will be used as a stake.

Back on track! Giving them some nitrogen has them drinking water at a much quicker rate and the flowers are adding some new growth in all direction. I think they’ll be a week or two behind the original forecasted finish date and while the leaves may not be the prettiest these little northern lights autos are going to have that great smell and taste we’ve all come to love.

5 week have already passed since the start of the flowering stage. The stunned auto is healed and growing happily and strong with 40cm Both green poison are already really sticky and with lots of the good sugar. The smell is getting really strong too and the buds are going big and fat. Plant height: 40cm The critical + 2.0 are the ones with the strongest smell, but the shortest too with 35cm. The good thing about them is the 14/16 tops they have Finally the skunk 47 wich was an offer and at the beginning, the slowest growing but became the tallest with 45cm. Strong, fruity smell and long and dense buds. Just did the last defoliation on every girls, nothing too heavy and introduced the Plagron Green Sensations. Tell me what you think guys! This girl is growing gorgeous and super frosty, hints of blue/purple are starting to show deep in the buds. she doesn’t seem close to finished pushing out new pistils, i would say she has at least 3 weeks left. i am switching to only water at this point, so that she starts to utilize the last of the nutes in her soil
