English: I decided to switch to 12/12 after week 6. The risk of the plants becoming too big for the tent was too great for me. Since switching to 12/12, I have also reduced the amount of water and am trying to push the EC in the substrate further in the 3.5-5 direction. I am still giving the full dose of Grow A & B and will continue to do so until week 3 or 4, depending on how they develop. I will also increase the PPFD from 500 to 900 within the first 3 weeks of flowering. Everything seems to be working well so far, the ladies are growing and also got their next defoliation at the end of the 1st week of flowering, as it was getting very dense. Here comes the first Preflower Update

420Fastbuds FBT2304 Week 9 What up everyone. Weekly update on these beauties. Getting some fade in the leafs on the bigger one and having to feed her almost 2x what I normally do of 2000ml about every day in a half. Besides that they seem to be on cruise control through the flower stage. The main colas are definitely swelling up as one could hope and to think they probably both have another 2 weeks before harvest it'll be interesting and exciting to see how big they'll turn out. Nutes will be stopped this week and they'll be getting only ph'd water for the remainder of flower. All in all Happy Growing

First week of flower done.

Autos are just starting to flower the photos are dying for some bigger pots. I've been trying to bring up the overall plant health in general since moving everything to a basement the temps are a little lower than ideal. I had a space heater delivered today and monitored the temps but they only went up to around 78°f I want it to be atleast 82°f ideally 85. The heater uses 1500 watt and only increased it about 2 or 3°. I dont think it's worth the extra cost for such little boost. I'm thinking about returning the heater and throwing a 1000w hps in one of the other tents and see if that will raise it anymore. Especially with LED and co2 higher temps would be very beneficial in veg and early flower but the room is so big its gunna be tough to pull off without killing me on electric costs. Any suggestions are welcome. I know this room does decent in flower but I havnt done much veg work down here and I'll have some autos growing this round so it's important I get it up.

Been growing for a while but I need to keep track of things better. One plant has some browning leaves so I’ll research that this week. Week 6 They’re doing well for the most part. Pistols coming in. They love high ppm and drink plenty.

Week 3 of flower and decided to start using PLAGRON: Green Sensation a week earlier. Pistils are appearing and maybe need some phosphorous and potassium. Quite a bit of stretching going on. Had to bend back a few stems to try even out canopy. Some burnt tips? From what? No idea. One of the strawberry cough seems to be taking longer to transition, still stretching and no pistils. Apart from the tip burns, which I’m hoping is because of my light being too close. (Adjusted higher now) It seems to be going OK, nothing great….

Well we finally reached the end. The last week was more cruise control. Just trying to remove the big fan leaves that's blocking any flowers. The trichomes looking kinda ready but still acceptable. During the last few days I maintained a daytime Humidity of around 60 and nighttime of 55. Temperatures are between 73 degrees and 67 degrees. Two days before chop they got 48 hrs of dark and 3 days of no water to add to the stress. After the 48hrs darkness all the ladies Came out extra frosty. Loving the change of hues on the blue gelato. The vanilla Kush is very oily and very very strong smell. Not a strong smell coming off the OrangeGelato though. The green gelato has a creamy smell.

Boy oh boy, the final day of the first Medusa F1 Hybrid 1/5. Seed to harvest in 93 days. The first medusa F1 grew super fast. Her vegetative period was very short, showing white pistils at day 18 already, but grew into a beautiful lady. The first medusa was only subjected to LST and a little defoliation. The other Medusa plants from my diary (2/5 and 4/5),were topped and this definitely increased the amount of flower sites. Nevertheless, she grew thick and fat with heavy buds smelling like a sweet petrol station. The pistils turn bright orange and many calyxes are formed with hardly any leaves in between. I noticed after week 11 she started producing new calyxis with white pistils and therefore I waited a bit longer. I would recommend this and wait a bit longer to see if it happens for you too. Some trichomes were starting to turn amber and I maybe could have waited a little longer, also for the lower part to develop more. She was cut down on the 18th of July and was placed in my dark dry tent for 13 days at a temperature of 18 °C and a humidity of 60%. A long and slow dry is important to preserve terpenes. After 13 days, on the 31st of July, the branches were making a cracking sound when bending, so I decided to take the branches out of the drying tent and trim them. My 4 x 200W lights (on the box) only pull 50W from the wall so I think they are not super good. I made pictures with a Nikon camera and a white background. I smoked some and she tastes peppery with a sweet aftertaste. I will smoke more after a good long cure for at least 2-4 weeks in my jars. Check the progress of my other medusa F1 diaries and see the full experiment if topping is beneficial for these F1's. I would recommend trying out these amazing genetics and see for yourself. As week 8 started, buds are gaining size. Plant is drinking lots of water. About. 3/4 a gallon a day to day 1/2. Added a second light to setup now. Hoping to help the flowering buds with extra light. Relocated my fan to help circulate air flow around more of the taper colas. Should have a around 3 week a left til harvest. Can’t wait to see how this first grow turns out and what to learn from it overall at the end.

Now on 8x nodes per plant.x Day 1 - SB2, 1 stem got broken during training 😩😭😩😭😩... Hoping it will be saved but Day 2 - more aggressive training on both plants to level the main frame

As I have already written, clean the lenses and keep the lighting department efficient, and you will have excellent yields ... The plant was a bit long but the sativa component gave the direction the peaks were a bit like popcorn due to the error described above ... dirty lenses. it's not a plant that sucks fertilizers ... he likes them but don't overdo it

The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. This girl is growing like a sword – tall, slender, and cutting through the canopy with style 😅 She's stretched quite a bit, and down below she’s rocking four tiny side shoots that I’m honestly not sure what to think of yet. But hey, I’m letting her do her thing. Stretch seems to be slowing down now, and I'm starting to spot the very first trichomes glistening under the light, always an exciting moment!
