Ladies still drink a lot of water, 3,4 L every 48 hours. Main cola flowers are getting big, side colas less but still 2 weeks to go so hopefully they will continue. The lady in the front, plant and buds have another aspect then the other 2. All of them are cherry cola. Also had some issues with her during veg phase and she began flowering earlier.

It’s never a welcome guest, but it’s part of the growing journey, and it teaches you more than any perfect run ever could. It started small: a couple of darker spots noticed deep inside one of the colas. Upon closer inspection, we confirmed it — Botrytis cinerea, or as growers call it, bud rot. Thankfully, it was localized and quickly handled, removing all affected material carefully to avoid spreading spores. Despite how dramatic macro photos can make it look, the loss was minimal. The rest of the canopy remains healthy, strong, and radiant under the LEDs. The girls keep thriving like the true champions they are. ⸻ 🧠 Educational Spotlight – What Is Bud Rot (and What It Isn’t) Bud rot is a fungal infection caused by Botrytis cinerea. It thrives in warm, humid, stagnant environments — the kind of microclimate that can form in thick buds during late flower. It usually begins inside the bud, invisible at first, and works its way outward, leaving behind a grayish-brown, dusty rot that can ruin entire flowers if unnoticed. Keep fans on and air moving even when lights are off. 3. Monitor VPD: Around 1.2–1.4 kPa is ideal for mid-late flower; beyond 1.6 increases risk. 4. Inspect daily: Use your eyes and your nose — the first clue is often a smell, not a sight. 5. Clean the space: Mold spores can live in your tent, filters, and even fans. Sanitize between runs. Remember: Bud rot doesn’t mean failure; it means evolution. This was a fun little project with a few ups and downs. Overall it was a success. I managed to get 86 Seeds off of the two plants, this is a smaller number but given that I started the pollination about 2-3 weeks late I am impressed. Top this all off with the fact I was using 10ppm silver solution for the majority of the reversing process and only had 30ppm for about a single week near the end. Moving forward if I plan on reversing anymore plants I will be investing in some STS vs Silver solution. It's easier to use and has stronger results. I also managed to get 25g of bug from the plants as well that I will infuse into some butter. Not to worry these are not the branches that where sprayed with silver and they have been cut off and disposed of in the composter. When I decide to grow these out I'll try and create a new diary and test if the CBD/THC ratios remain intact, if the plants are viable. I have not tested the germination rate on these seeds and for all I know they are duds or will not resemble their back-crossed parents. This is my first seed making project and so much is new and unknown to me. Have had lots of help along the way from some good GD friends. Tried to post lots of photos and products I used. The photos labelled [PREVIOUS HARVEST] where when I first grew this wonderful strain out. It has the same peppery kush smell and crazy deep purples as it first did. I did shock these plants with a heavy feeding that stunted them greatly, I also transplanted them when I should have started them off in their forever pot. This was all explained in the weekly entries when it happened and why. overall the autos are not heavy yielding but more average for an auto and that's ok with me. Its the smells, taste colours and CBD contest that draw me to it. Somethings to note from the diary, most of the liquid nutrients are diving by how much water I gave them, typically 4L. Solid nutrients are divided per litre of medium in the pots or they are the total amounts I added. Just ask if you have Questions.

Coming along nicely. Large number of bud sites, starting to grow but still far from mature. Nice aroma every time I open the tent. Starting to become a bit frosty.

Starting week 2 of flower. Been slowly trimming any sucker branches that reach away from the main stem by greater than 2". I have moved branches into positions in the scrog screen to efficiently fill the whole net.

Everything looking good still with the Cherry Strudel. Not getting any strong cherry terps yet. I've started supplementing 40ppm of magnesium from MgSo4 to try and see if it helps with the slight fading out, i was suspecting it was from the intensity of the LED, although only 300w i was getting a DLI of around 50 which is way too high. I've raised the LED slightly and applied a light top dress of the Ecothrive Soil Food Bloom. I've added a small clip fan to circulate air around the upper canopy and I've got a 5 inch RVK fan circulating air underneath the canopy.

Fattening and stacking! That’s what’s up 😎🔥 The girls are doing well, no issues other than the tip burn (went a little hard on the nutes then dialed it back) I was very busy this week and had minimal time for the garden, the automation is key for success! I really should look into an auto water system to complete the process, but I love the time I spend and watering is one of those times you can get up close and personal and really view your plant and how it is doing from top to bottom. Only about 3 weeks left give or take, I can’t wait. The terps coming from these plants have kicked it up a notch and are intense! Like walking through a pine forest… that also has weed growing 👃🤤🌲, lol. Started with the Bud Candy from Advanced nutrients for the Mag/Sulphur and to help with the terpenes and fattening. I had impressive results with my last GG Autoflower using this product in the last 3 weeks, hopefully we can get a similar result. 🤞

First Time grower, growing in a DIY growbox made from cardboard and taped mylar on the walls, some PC fans and an arraged carbon filter, a cheap led light bought on Amazon. I'm curious to see what i can harvest. Planning to do some lst on week 3 and start feeding 8-6-6 npk on week 2

Fungus gnats blew up, so I had to surround the whole place with traps. Looks like I’ve thinned the population out for now, but I’ll be picking those little bastards out of the buds later — they stick like they’re welded on ) Runoff pH is way too high, so I decided to bring it down by feeding with a lower pH solution. Temporarily running 5.2 instead of 5.8. What can I say… this grow keeps throwing more and more experience at me, barely keeping up with processing it all. The more you learn, the more opens up)) Hope this won’t go on forever and the perfect grow is somewhere around the corner ) The smell has started to shift — moving more and more into gas and chem territory. I’m getting more convinced that all these berry/fruity strains should be chopped around the end of week 6, day 42–45, but this time I’m gonna hold her for about 9 weeks and see what’s left. The color has really started turning purple now, with the top buds darkening first. From next week I’ll start bringing her into autumn mode — I think by harvest she’ll be almost fully purple.

Changing the watering and feeding schedule really did wonders during this final stretch. And honestly, I’m glad I stuck with this run — even though it took ages and I nearly killed the plants while on vacation 😅 I’ve learned a ton from this grow and I’m really looking forward to the next run with photoperiods. This hobby is something else. While others have an aquarium or tinker with their cars… we embrace the holy zaza. Stats so far: 💧 Watering: Every third day 🌡️ Temp: 26–28°C 💦 Humidity: 65% RH 📈 VPD: ~1.18 kPa 💡 Light: ~700 PPFD

Happy enough with it we see how she’s smoking and how much she’s weighting.
