Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. 🤤**Grow Report by Zuppler - Week 5 Flowering Phase** 🌅 Yooo, what’s good? Zuppler here with that Week 5 flowering update, straight from the capital. We’re deep in the game now, and these girls are lookin' like straight-up champs. Buds are swellin’ up nice, and the resin’s startin' to drip like syrup on pancakes, ya feel me? The canopy’s thick, them colas just stackin' higher every day. That front-left queen I mentioned last week? She’s still flexin’, lookin’ even better than before. Buds on her are fattenin' up like she knows she’s the star of the show. Definitely a keeper, no doubt about it. Environment’s still locked in tight, no changes on my end. Lights are sittin' right where they need to be, and them girls are lovin’ every minute of it. Advanced Nutrients still doin’ the trick, and the RO water’s keepin' everything clean and mean. Ain’t no issues here – just lettin’ the magic happen. Trichs are startin’ to cloud up, and the smell? Bruh, it’s gettin’ loud in here, like a bass drop in the club. We’re just lettin’ them do their thing now, and it’s lookin' like we’re on track for some serious heat. That front-left queen, she’s gonna be somethin’ special when it’s all said and done. In Woche 8 bei den BlueberryMuffins war viel los. Die Sanlight musste täglich neu auf die 40cm Abstand gehängt werden. Hier und da wurden immer mal wieder ein paar Blätter entfernt die Triebspitzen verdecken oder so dicht gewachsen waren das es zu einer schlechten Luftzirkulation gekommen wäre. Die zweite Lage vom Scrog-Netz wurde installiert. So können die gestreckten Triebe wieder etwas ordentlicher untergebracht werden und werden dazu etwas gestützt wenn es in die Blüte geht. An den Stangen vom unteren Scrog-Netz wurden noch zwei PC-Lüfter angebracht um unter dem Blätterdach für etwas Luftzirkulation zu sorgen. Den optimalen VPD zu halten war etwas schwierig bei dem Wetter zur Zeit. Die Temperaturen lagen um die 24°C und die Luftfeuchtigkeit um die 60%. Mit kurzweiligem Lüften des Raumes ging es immer mal wieder in die Richtung der angestrebten 50%. Da werden es die hoffentlich bald kälteren Tage wieder etwas angenehmer machen den VPD in den optimalen Bereich zu bekommen. _____________________________ Düngen : Gegossen wird mit Wasser das min. 24h mit einer Aquariumpumpe in einer 10L Gießkanne in Bewegung gehalten wird. Davon wird soviel genommen wie es die Ladys verlangen und mit dem einen oder anderen Zusatz versetzt. Je nach Stadium der der Ladys. Ab ungefähr Woche 5 wird mit 10% vom Topfvolumen gegossen. Das ganze wird in drei Teilen mit einem Abstand von 20-30min gegossen. Tag50 gab es für die BlueberryMuffins 1ml/L PowerRoots, 1ml/L PureZym und 1ml/L PowerBuds. Das ganze wurde auf einen ph-Wert von 6.5 gebracht. Es gab je Lady 1L in den Topf und 200ml in den Untersetzer. An Tag52 gab es 1ml/L PowerRoots, 1ml/L PowerBuds, 1ml/L PureZym, 1.5ml/L PK 5•8 und 2ml/L StickyFingers. Das ganze wurde auf einen ph-Wert von 6.5 gebracht. Jede Lady bekam 200ml in den Untersetzer und 1L in den Topf. Tag55 gab es 1ml/L PowerRoots, 1ml/L, 1ml/L PowerBuds, 2ml/L PK 5•8, 2ml/L StickyFingers und 1g/L BioEnhancer. Another fast update! 😃 Hey guys! I hope everything is going well for everyone. This is the 2nd week of flower and I'm here again to share what happened last week! My babies now get thirsty really easy, nothing like how it used to be (and you can actually see them stressing over it in my photos) but gladly nothing that some water can't fix. The main colas are also starting to grow more and they are full of small developing flowers (they look super pretty! 😍) Some side stems are also outgrowing the main branches... and I'm kinda unsure what I want to do (or if I should do anything). Maybe LST or supercrop them? (I might screw things up by doing it in flower and I have never done it before 😭) I don't know. I also want to trim some leaves away since the foliage is very dense but I fear I might end stressing them! I will probably make a grow question to know what others think. I'm back on a normal nutrient schedule. I'm no longer "overfeeding" them and I water them 4 times a week (but with little water). Next week I'll try doing 3 but with more water and see if they like it more that way. So far I love how the plants are developing!
