This fine lady is really starting to add some nice colours due to some cold temps in our neck of the woods. She has a ton of trichomes development now! I am really impressed with the look of the buds. They aren’t all full of leaves which should make trimming her a pleasure. 😎 She has really been fattening up this week. I am guessing she needs another week or so to finish up. Her colouring should be quite something once she is done. 🤩 I am still having the odd spot of powdery mildew pop up but nothing too serious. I have been treating it with greencure every 3-4 days and it’s keeping it under control. I haven’t found any affecting the buds yet which is a win! This is the reason a good effective regimen of treating plants for pest and mould/mildew is an outdoor growing must!! I have yet to lose a plant to mould or peat so I swear by it. I’ve seen a bunch of my associates with some powdery mildew beast. Such a shame to see😱 Stay tuned for the final week 😎🍿

Day 36 (Second Grow): Hey everyone! We’re starting a new week and have officially entered the flowering phase! 🌸 We switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle, and the plants are responding beautifully, growing 5-10 cm every day. Our SCROG net is doing a great job keeping the canopy even, ensuring all parts of the plants get enough light. The Timor shield mantis is happily patrolling the garden, providing natural pest control. We've placed a hygrometer within the canopy to monitor humidity, which sometimes exceeds 70%. We're considering adding a dehumidifier to keep levels in check and prevent mold or mildew. Any tips on managing rapid growth during flowering or keeping humidity levels in check? Hello Diary. Medusa F1 is definitely a record holder, in less than 70 days from the time it sprouted, it matured and was harvested. The second Medusa will wait a few more days, she is not yet completely ready. But incredibly, 12/01/2023 was planted and 21/03/2023 was harvested. 68 days from the day it sprouted, incredibly fast. I've always thought that if the plant grows so fast, the result won't be great, but with Medusa, that's not the case. The plant is full of hard fragrant flowers. As you can see in the photos, the leaves were completely yellowed so I removed them before cutting the branches and putting them in a box to dry. Since the second plant still needs light, I put the first plant to dry in a box to protect it from light. This week watering was usual, every three days. The conditions are great, the humidity is very low, below 40%, which is great because of the drying, and the temperature is around 26 degrees. Here's what it looked like last week. 15/03/2023 - Day 50. Watering. I prepared 7 liters of water, lowered the pH. to 6.0 and watered both plants evenly with that amount. 18/03/2023 - Day 53. Watering. The same procedure as three days earlier. 21/03/2023 - Day 56. Photographing and harvesting the first Medusa F1. I'm just really pleased with how things went from start to finish. Now it remains to harvest the second plant and wait for them to dry to see what kind of fruits I got. This is all from me regarding the Medusa F1, if anyone has any questions, feel free to write. * ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 This week she continued to fill in and she also pushed out more frosty tricombs!! The fade happened this week more and she fed off of more of the nutrients within the plant.....perfect😃......would like a little more even but she was ready based on tricombs. Would like to have seen the lower leaves a little more yellow but its good. I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Not really a lot more to add this week as it was mainly looking at the tricombs and her buds. The pH will impact the harvest but she has been fun to grow and very resilient to pest and bug issues as well as grower curve balls. As always.......nice job Sweet Seeds....... SWS56 is very solid and I look forward to running her again one day. Beautiful little girl and makes me smile😃😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0pH - 8L given to get a good flush....pH still running around 7.4 - Runoff in pots already were 7.9pH and 685ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.4pH and 360ppm. - she is 20” tall and 24” wide. - a number of clear tricombs but more becoming cloudy. June 21/20 - Day 72 - dry out day. - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - her frost levels are really coming out now.....was able to lower tent temps to 75 degrees and 51% humidity......its been raining a bit so damn humidity has been high. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting more pointy now and ripening nicely - leaves continue to fade......she is close - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. Que hay de nuevo familia, os traigo la actualización de la semana de nuestras crazy cookies, increíble el tamaño que están alcanzando los centrales, hay que tener bastante cuidado con los nutrientes, si te pasas un poco te lo harán saber. Tienen un olor bastante peculiar, estas últimas semanas desarrollará todos sus terpenos. Ph seguimos controlándolo alrededor de 6.5 temperatura algo elevará y humedad perfecta por debajo de los 40%. No creo que tarden mucho en estar siguen engordando y formando esas flores, la semana que viene veremos cómo avanzan fumetillas.

Got so little I didn’t bother weighing it, my own fault though, first attempt at LST and I ended up stressing it loads. Honestly was very busy the entire duration of this grow and didn’t pay as much attention as I should’ve. Lovely smoke, would recommend! 10/10 appearance, 9/10 taste and 10/10 smell🔥

Both plants continue to fill in. Now I'm waiting for the perfect time to begin my flush. 🌱🔥🤘🇺🇸

I started germination of 3 Crystal Candy fv beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! This is my first look at this variety so I have no background information on experience for this one. But I will get some from this grow, and if shes blessed. There could be a second run in the future.
