I dry trimmed everything I harvested. What I mean is I cut all fan leaves while the plant was still in the ground. I trimmed what I could and hung the whole plant for a few days then separated branches. The ice cream cake and the large seedling are both still hanging intact. Ice cream cake was easy as it grew more like a sativa them the indicas I usually grow. Plant reached a height of 9 to 10 feet. Yield was some what diminished due to septoria. This strain seemed particularly sensitive to plant diseases.

October 9, 2021: Everything is moving right along. Flowering in full effect! Still showing signs of overwatering, but getting better. I haven't watered them at all this week. They are almost dried out enough to start watering again. I'm learning these 'self watering' pots I purchased basically suck and should be treated the same as any other 3 gallon pot. Lesson learned. I still like the concept of Sub Irrigation Planter (SIP) pots. I'll be building some SIP pots of my own with 5 gallon buckets in the future. Blackberry is 14" tall and has nice purple colors coming in. I did some additional defoliation on her this week and really like the way she is looking now (minus the overwatering) Critical+ is 22" tall and has good bud development. Her leaves are more yellowed, but that hasn't seemed to affect her bud development. I'm guessing we have 4-5 weeks to go until harvest time. I have planted 4 new photo period seeds (new journal up - check it out). I'll be flipping this tent to 12-12 as soon as these two girls have harvested. Until next week... Happy Growing!!! ✊

This strain was wicked fun to grow. Yield is amazing. One plant filled a 30 gallon tote once dried. WPM and leaf septoria was horrible this year but this strain seemed to do just fine. Very resilient. Grew short and stout like an indica. Covered in trich's and smells amazing.

Hey fellow growers week 8 update in the books! Not much happened this week besides having to raise my light to its max! The pistols were showing signs of orange pistols but it looks as though they are burning 🔥 so measured my light to plant and was sitting at 15 inches so I got it back to 18 inches but if these plants stretch any further I'm going to have to cut a hole in the top of my tent for the light!! So I finally had a week of ease. Thanks for viewing my grow and be sure to smash the like button and drop a comment I'm on here a lot prob more than I should be. Still an amazing grow! Havent had any problems with the plants🙏🏽🎉

I'm very happy with the outcome, outdoors this time around. It's my largest plant to date and it smokes great! I randomly gave this strain a try as it's packed with great genetics and it did not disappoint. It grew large considering the time it had to grow. It was constrained by a medium amount of sun light per day (4-6hrs) and it's pot size (40L) the roots were tightly packed I used bio fertilizers Bio buzz grow Peruvian seabird guano and organic potassium for veg Biobizz bloom top max compost teas in flower It smokes and taste great already. 10/8 - going along steady. I'll take few more glam shots later. 2 MONTHS. It may not look like much but I'm proud of these 3. This is probably the healthiest tent I've had since I started growing inside. I just want them to fill out the net a little better before I flip. 10/10 - trellis training is underway. Between topping and this, I should have a nice, full canopy this time around. I've estimated about 72 squares in my net yet only about 35 or so colas forming. Wondering if I should really I push this one or quit while I'm ahead. One thing is for certain, Moby dick is responding much faster to being topped than GZ. Every stem of Moby I've topped has grown lower shoots aggressively and quickly. Gz has been far slower to respond. Noted. Can't wait to see these things bud. But patience is a virtue here. If the veg stage is any indicator, the buds going to be phenomenal.

Same height, same 5l/day, slowly swelling up those buds! Not sure but I think we are running into a bleaching issue again ("sugar leaves are oh so sweet!" issue, remember my first grow?). Well, I guess she may be a bit sensitive to strong lights - I have increased distance to my lamps and dimmed them to 75%, means she get 180W and not 240W actually. Defoliation goes still very easy - removing couple of fan leaves every second day, no other trainings at all. I had also removed some of very low and small side-side brunches - testers on the way :) She started to smell stronger in the tent - super tasty!

After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. She put on so much weight this week I flushed her and now feed with ripen untill next week Mid week 11: still cloudy trichomes Maybe i let her go a few more days after the ripen scedule

She finally puts on some decent weight, i keep feeding strong for another week
