*If anyone read through my GDP diary, this is going to be mostly the same stuff. So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn't getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don't know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3+ months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. Day 71: The left plant is starting to show some of the same problems I see on the right plant so I am going to flush her too tomorrow. I think that it is mostly due to the light stress from before, it is just showing now, but to be safe she gets a flush too @5.8 ph Day 73: Hmmmm... It is difficult to see if the problem persists, or its just the affected leaves that will not recover. Should I remove these "sick" leaves? - They seem to be happy abut the new light intensity as some of the problems is defiantly improving like the leaves are praying, and the sides of the leaves does not seem to bend as much. I have been very gentle with the feeding, after having done 3 flushes (15L at 5.8 ph) and have updated my feed schema above Day 75: I am sure that I had some light-stress, and it is over now, but I don't think I see a full recovery.... I think I see the leaves to get more yellow but it might just be as mentioned before, that the sick leaves won't recover but I do not know what to do from here. Should I just leave them, or do you growmies have any suggestions? The grow has, and is, very slow in my opinion but I still see progress UPDATE: I decided to doe some heavily defoliation. It might have been too much for the left one. I haven't done much defoliation, but they where so bushy, that I thought it was necessary to get light on all my buds. Also I wanted to get rid of those "sick" leaves. I think I am on the right track, and the symptoms I see are old problems now

@MephistoGenetics, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 10 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. So despite many obstacles and hurdles, we are on the last week of flowering hopefully the heat stays down for the next few days, and I can get some color into these nugs the sativa Room may need a few more weeks no big deal. This is typical of sativa leaning strains. this will give me a bit of a stagger in between harvest so I don’t have to do all the work in one day which is a good thing .

This week has been all about maintaining optimal conditions and ensuring our ladies get everything they need to reach their full potential. Environment and Conditions Tent: 3x3, cleaned and prepped from top to bottom to ensure a pristine environment. Lighting: ViparSpectra P2000, delivering a perfect spectrum for this stage of growth. The balanced PAR output and efficient energy use keep our girls happy and thriving. Watering: TDS at 410, pH 5.8, and water temperature at 21°C. This ensures the nutrients are perfectly balanced and readily available. Nutrient Regimen We’ve kept up with our Aptus Holland feeding schedule, and it's paying off big time. Here's the current mix: Nutritional Spray: Aptus Holland NutriSpray to keep those leaves lush and healthy. TopBooster: Replaced StartBooster with TopBooster to promote flower development. P-Boost: Added to the mix for that extra phosphorus kick, crucial for blooming. K-Boost: a must for them to go fat as we like. It's always a bit nerve-wracking, but the results are worth it. Removing excess leaves ensures better light penetration and airflow, reducing the risk of mold and pests. ********Week 1 Flower - Sept 19 to 25, 2020******* We switched to flower this week and put in the first SCROG layer.....been busy😃 These girls have some very thick main branches and are pushing out some huge fan leaves💪 They were easily stretched out horizontally to fill in the net and the topping helped to keep the canopy at an even height. The girls are in the same tent as another strain that is known to grow big and will benefit from a SCROG. I don’t feel these girls necessarily need one though. To combat this I decided to set the Cream 47 on boxes before putting in the netting. I set them on boxes which put them 10” taller than Gorilla Girls......may still not have been enough but that is what we are running with🤞😃 Pest maintenance this week as we are getting the last days I am able to comfortably spray the girls. Lost Coast Plant Therapy to keep the gnats, aphids and thrips in check😃 Had a small mishap this week and a damn fan fell on one side of C471 while opening the tent. The net helped to not make this more disastrous but it still set her back a day or two. She has bounded back now and that side of her is coming back and getting taller. At the end of the week I finally gave in and started to pull some of the upper fan leaves😗😗 There is so much leaf in this little 3’ x 3’ tent that it is impacting airflow.......would love a 4‘ x 4’😃 They have reacted very well to the removing of the leaves and those branches are standing up taller and look more healthy the next day!! Keeping the waterings up and getting a fair bit of runoff from the feedings but that is best for Coco to avoid lockouts and pH issues. There were only three feeding days this week. We switched to bloom nutes for base and added silica for supplementals. Vitamin B and Kelp coming from B52 and sweetener for the microbes from bud candy. As well as Sensyzime to let the enzymes clean up the root zone because they have been in the pots for a few weeks now. Little more detail: Sept 19/20 - Day 1 - Plant Therapy @ 5ml in 1L water. Ph to 5.4. - Folier spray applied to whole tent half hour before lights on, used 3/4 of mixture - Feeding mixture was Sensyzime @ 1ml only - 25ppm and 5.2pH......missed it a bit. - each girl given 3L - SCROG put in Sept 20/20 - Day 2 - Sprayed the last of the IPM mixture on the tent tonight. - Noticed several small shinny spots on leaves later today.....suspect from Folier spray on leaves. Sept 21/20 - Day 3 - Nice full strength week 1 mixture applied today - Rhino Skin, Cal Mag @ 2ml, Sensi Bloom A&B , B52, Bud Ignitor, Bud Candy @ 1ml. - 625 ppm and 5.7pH - 3L given to each girl.......not enough runoff.....bump feedings up to 4L going forward. - silica added today. - freaking fan dropped on C471 today in the one corner🤬 Could have been worse👌 Sept 23/20 - Day 5 - CalMag @ 2ml, Rhino, Sensi Bloom A&B, B52, Bud Candy, Bud Ignitor @ 1ml. - 850ppm and 5.9pH - 4L given to each girl. - better run off amount That wraps up the first week of flower........Cream 47 was more of a transition week while Gorilla Girl was well in flower. The net is in and the lights flipped. The girls were ready for flower and now we just need to keep giving them what they want for the next 6 weeks and then coast from there👍 Hopeful they will find another 12” of growth in them but not sure they will stretch that much in the net....time will tell. Sweet Seeds girls making me smile again with anticipation of some fat colas from these girls😃
