14-10-2021: Actually I have to start a next week by tomorrow but I have changed so much today I decided to start a new week today.It is still not easy to maintain a VPD of 0.7..... Well it is only an indication in my case because unfortunately I still do not measure the leaf temperature. Temperature was a bit on the high side last night because the temperature sensor of the PK125 has now ended up under the foliage. Of course it is a lot cooler there so it kept running at 10% I have adjusted that, so tomorrow I expect a completely different temperature trend. Also completely emptied the system today and replaced the Hy-Pro with Ata Awa MAX. I have exchanged the Calmag with the Green Sensation, so this will also be dosed (1 ml/L) from now on. I will add Calmag from now on with a pipette. Let's see how the PH is going, as the packaging of the ATA states that it is self-regulating. If that is the case I will put CALMAG in the reservoir of the PH- and reprogram the system. I have chosen not to scrog today. I drilled a hole in the middle and the container to the right of it and killed quite a few roots (unfortunately the drill went through) and that seems, in combination with other nutrition, a suddenly somewhat lower temperature and the torture between the leaves to to get the sensor in place is enough stress for 1 day to me. So they can now go to sleep and tonight we'll see if there is damage. I'm guessing it's not that bad because previous experiences have told me that they can take quite a bit. 17-10-2021: Flowers are starting to form. 18-10-2021: 2 hours of bondage ;) 139 tie-wraps. So last Friday I began germinating seed, tap water in a shot glass I dropped her in and let her stay in darkness for 12 hours.. threw her in a cotton round and placed in ziplock bag. A day later she was already growing a tail and it was time to throw her in a home. Planted the seed on Tuesday and here we are already alive and healthy. I just got my Mars Hydro tent (2.3x2.3x56) put it together last night and now the little babe is thriving with her sister Orange Sherbert . We’ve survived our first week !!!

Week 20 8/11-17 For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They and with the trichomes just starting to form and 2 more moths to go. They continue lovin life outside. These ladies are maturing as many fans are yellowing and falling off. Temps are comfortable following Storm Debby, in the 80s with low humidity. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. These ladies had a long vegetation phase. They germinated April 1 so I could get them hardened off before I went on vacay. The colas are large, trichomes forming and with 2 more months to go, my expectations for these are heavy yields and sticky dense buds. Week 3 has passed✔️ LST always with Ennio Morricone🏻‍♂️ She’s doing very well growing at fast pace with a beautiful green color on the leaves🔥 For the nutrients Plagron as always💜 Foliar spray Plagron vita race once a week💦

She’s doing amazing this week she’s really starting to ripen. I think 1 more week… granted I also like to really reduce the lights the last week to increase the chances of increasing yield. I’ve discovered that giving a 12/12 light schedule for the last couple of weeks really allows the plant to fill in its density, as well as allowing the roots a final stretch to access micro and macro nutrients. First time growing so this week went well i'd say. Everything seems to be on time and looking well so we will see how the further weeks play out. Very excited to see the progress.

I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone! Green gelato is an awesome strain that keeps evolving. A real pleasure for the eye to see. Royal gorilla isnt showing so much progress.. going a bit slow. Is like half the progress of Gelato. And they have exactly same conditions. Going to start using more supplements at the start of next week. Was hoping to veg only 4 weeks, nut feelslike ii will have to double atleast.
