🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. November 16, day 28, Scrog and irrigation installed. With the net installed it's a little tricky (though possible) to hand water, so automatic watering is a nice quality of life improvement. Growth is very tight, maybe a little better suited to sog techniques. Smell is powerful for it's young age. Earliest signs of flowering have begun. Everything went well over vacation! The girls are doing okay overall. They needed bigger pots and it's starting to show overall. Another reason not to use autos cause I can't lollipop. But the watering process is going well. This Gorilla Cookie is my girl in this tent. She's doing well and hopefully starts to look better. I'm considering using synthetic nutrients in this grow to start giving for power. Vegetation cycle starts. Light intensity 50% @ 16 inches Nutrient program starts at 50% Green Planet Easy Feed and Week 2 begin Green Planet Pro Feed @ 50%. Abit too much light for the plants finding the sweet spot on a 480watt LED,they recovered well. Still battling high humidity and high temps. 28-31'C 65%-90%. Introducing a new dehumidifier as of next week. Have turned AC on High between 11am-5pm (hottest part of the day) Summer only!

The girls grew up again and are already 110 cm tall. I don't see any problems ... I did supercroping and they are fine too ... We keep going ...🍃🍃🍃

Hello Diary, Cherry Pie has finished its last week, I harvested it two days after taking the photo. 73 days since I put the seeds in the ground. 65 days since the start of the vegetation. Really very fast. But the result is impressive as you can see in the photos. The flowers are large and dense, the branches bend slightly under their weight. The main cola is especially large and full of large flowers covered in trichomes. The flowers are very hard to the touch and sticky under the fingers, especially the flowers on the main cola. The leaves have started to turn autumn yellow which is also an indicator of its maturity. The smell is very intense at this stage, the whole room smells like plants when I open the grow box. Watering was standard, every three days. This week I stopped adding nutrients, I just lowered the p.H. to 6.0 and water the plants with clean water. After taking the photos, I left it in the grow box for two more days to drink all the water from the soil to make it easier to dry. Before cutting, I removed all the leaves from the plant to also make drying faster and have less work to trim the dried flowers. After cutting, I left it upside down in the grow box to dry. Now all that remains is to see how much it has really rewarded me. See you when that happens. Here's what the last week looked like. 19/09/2024 - Day 57. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, lowered the pH to 6.0 and used that amount to water all three plants on the farm. 22/09/2024 - Day 60. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 24/09/2024 - Day 62. I watered them all with 1.5 liters of water each plant so that they were fresh for the photo shoot. 25/09/2024 - Day 63. End of the last, 9th week since Cherry Pie began its journey. Photo shoot. 27/09/2024 - Day 65. Cherry Pie has been harvested. That's almost all from me for this diary, there is still the final report that follows after drying and testing. Thank you all once again for your support and comments.

*********************************************************************************************************** START OF WEEK The Hawaiian Lion (right) and Tricho Jordan (left) are the two plants that dominate the face-on tent photos, and for good reason. Each of those plants is twice the mass of either Chimera. The HL is superior in bud sites, resin, and terp intensity, but the Tricho and the good Chimera #3 are both not too far off in resin production and aroma profiles. The weird runt is frosting up too, so we're looking at getting something unique and quality from each. That is, if I don't muck this up. I fed last night, and as part of that process, I mix my nutrients in a four gallon batch at a double(ish) strength. I then add that to my reservoir, which is shut off at that time. This allows me to work in the res, to both get the ppms right and the ph within range. I just use plain water to level off the ppms and then I adjust for ph. What I didn't do last night is TURN back on the flow of water from the reservoir. However, you wouldn't have guessed it from how the plants woke up today (see first image). I normally check the bases of each plant daily, and in doing so today, I noticed that one felt slight dry. All tanks were empty, but all plant bases were somewhere between wet to moist. This is how I spot check, and it's worked in the past. This isn't the first time these tanks have had a catastrophic issue leading to an unexpected no flow sitch. There's a filter that sits between the reservoir tank and the primary feed line. That has unexpectedly clogged on me in the past, but with no deleterious effect to the grow. That was caught within a day as well by testing the plant bases. I don't blame autopot for either event. Obviously, last night I was a baked potato and just forgot a step. The clog is because I use yucca in my mix, which is an organic material that over time in the reservoir leads to build up. I'm afraid to introduce hydrogen peroxide into the set-up, so I'm just maintaining my reservoir by cleaning it fully every other week for now. I don't want to kill off the bacteria in the environment. I'm also using some fungus, too, so I'd rather promote coexistence of a microbiome than serialize it, especially considering the plants seem to be on pace. **************************************************************************************************************************************************************** END OF WEEK Shit! I've got a herm. I've found four nanner clusters this week, all on the lower third-ish of the Hawaiian Lion. Someone, thankfully, spotted it in the purple flower pics. Turns out, while super fun to look at, those sweet violet flowers turned into harbingers of mother fucking doooooommm. I've never seen this before. I guess I've been fortunate, but I've also never had a camera this capable before either. I had no idea how small these pee pee's were. I guess I was expecting girth, but shame on me for not knowing. I rapidly learned as much as I could over the last two days, and I've come to the conclusion that I may or may not be screwed. The consensus on my situation ranges from either burn my tent down to thank ja for the blessings of feminized seeds. We're riding this baby out. I think I have fifteen to twenty days left and I think these little nanners might have been in action for ten days, hopefully less. I don't know what kind of damage will be done in that time, but honestly, I'm not too worried. While disappointing, my use case is a personal supply of bubble hash and flower rosin. If it's seedy, I'll wash most of it. I don't know what caused it, but I'm thinking a light leak or genetics. The environment is dialed and that plant hasn't shown one sign of anything less than vigor throughout. The spots that developed the purple flowers (lower bottom half to bottom quarter) are all in the vicinity of where I found the herms (four locations) and these locations are close to the edge of the tent along the zipper. I'm vigilant about keeping my tent and grow space in order, but a light leak can't be ruled out. I'll have to test that after the harvest. The herm flowers are minuscule and I'm surprised I found them. The camera was a great tool in this case. I sprayed the areas that I removed the nanners and then dried it, but for what it's worth, I think the damage was already done. That water bit felt more like ritual, but I'm still feeling optimistic that I'm not totally hosed.

* ********* Week 3, April 25 to May 1, 2020 - Days 15 to 21 from germination ********** * So we have been chugging along and doing well. Keeping the feeds in check and not given any waterings over 6.0pH before this week. By mid week when checking runoff numbers found they were flipping 7.2pH!!!!!! What is shooting up the numbers so high?? They were given some Epsom salt and not sure if they have been given too much magnesium. Wondering if it could be the pots? Watering patterns have not changed? Cut slits in the bottom of all the fabric pots to help with drainage and see if moisture is sitting in the bottom of the pot causing issues with pH??? They are doing well but not at the same time.....GSC girls seem a little show in veg growth at this stage. Little more detail....... April 25/20 - Day 15 - Mixed 1L of water with Vitathrive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 700ppm and 6.0pH. - each girl given 0.5L feed. - humidity a little low at 52% and bumping up to 65% - light heights at 30” roughly right now. - GSC outer edges of leaves getting a little light. - GSC2 is forming a nice structure and new leaves are wider. April 26/20 - Day 16 - no real growth and the girls don’t look happy.......not sure of the issue? - mixed 2L water with Sensi CalMag @ 1.5ml. Sensyzime @ 2ml, Epsom Salt @ 1/4 tsp/L - GSC fighting magnesium deficiency so adding Epsom Salt, - increased light intensity a bit today. April 27/20 - Day 17 - dry out day - think the root zone is holding too much moisture and causing pH issue. - cut long slits in the bottom of the pots to let moisture run out faster/easier. - GSC has liked the increased lighting. - all the girls got clockwise rotation today. April 28/20 - Day 18 - Girl Scout girls given 3L watering with Vitrathrive @ 1.5ml = 100ppm and 5.1pH - runoff numbers: - GSC - 600ppm and 7.2pH - GSC2 - 475ppm and 7.2pH - pH is still too high!!!! - leaf colours on all the girls look good😳 April 29/20 - Day 19 - more runoff numbers to look at - Mixed 8L for each girl with Dual Fual @ 1.75ml - 325ppm and 5.0pH........each girl given this amount!!!! - Run off numbers: - GSC - in tray before feed was 7.2pH, brought down the pH to 7.0 and 525ppm - GSC2 - in tray before feed was 7.2pH, brought down the pH to 7.0 and 500ppm - now we see if the flush will help in the next couple of days. April 30/20 - Day 20 - dry out day - stems are looking thicker today. All nodes are separating and they are growing.......slowly though. May 1/20 - Day 21 - dry out day again - need to let the pots dry out in order to adjust the pH further. - they are looking taller and happier today. Sorry for running behind gang.
