Defoliated all around tops to bring the main canopy of fan leaves below this (at strip level). Hoping this results in light reaching all parts of all available bud sites. Fingers crossed! This girl is a beast. I've read this strain can be problematic but I've not noticed any issues whatsoever. Been an absolute beauty to grow and I hope she turns out good in all aspects as I'll be preserving the pheno if so.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Day 70 finishing up here soon

Finally chopped down and harvested. My best plant yet and that was all thanks to homegrown genetics for these killer genetics. If you haven't tried this guy yet, I absolutely beg you to. You will not be disappointed The Terps are straight Dank Ripe Black Cherry, that Superboof orange rind/hashy funkiness, and sum really nice earthy hash notes from the Pure Michigan. All comes together and almost reminds me of a really deep earthy cherry pie with a very slight Superboof orange influence. Very black cherry/Cherry Candy heavy. But not traditional "candy" you see now days. All around 10/10, I will be running Apple Junky and Garlic Applez next!

May 1st - pH 6.0, PPM 1280, 2.6 EC, 79/70f, 35% humidity - Water change, added purpinator since I found it on sale, plant seems happy from this past week, great sign. :) May 2nd - pH 5.9 -> 6.2, PPM 1380 -> 1260, 2.5 EC, 80/69f, 36% humidity - adjusted pH, likes to read a bit higher than usual according to my pH strips (~.2ish I believe), added a bit of distilled water, PPM was a bit high when testing this morning no idea why though. The plant seems O.K. May 3rd - pH 6.3, PPM 1350, 2.7 EC, 77/68f, 55% humidity - I started to add humidity to the cabinet to keep temps down and to help during flowering, I've got it outside the cabinet plugged into a humidity inkbird set to 60% RH and it'll allow it to fall 12.5% before turning back on. (Not trying run it 24/7) May 4th - pH 6.2, PPM 1350, 2.7 EC, 79/72f, 57% humidity - The plant is chilling, notice maybe some yellow spots on some fan leaves, if this continues I will turn off the humidifier, as that's what happened last time... Also raised the lights again, I wonder how big this one will get. May 5th - pH 6.1 -> 6.3, PPM 1280, 2.6 EC , 77/73f, 50% humidity - upped pH a tiny bit, added water to lower PPM May 6th - pH 6.5 -> 5.9, PPM 1350, 2.7 EC, 75/72f, 42% humidity - adjusted pH and added a little bit of water May 7th - pH 6.1, PPM 1600, 3.2 EC, 78/68f, 44% humidity - bucket is low on water, didn’t want to add a whole thing just to change it tomorrow, will start with more water (3.5gal) and add more water throughout the week compared to this week, I have started to experience clawing, possibly due to nitrogen toxicity, hoping to fix this upcoming week. And a noticed a few tiny rust spots on leaves randomly on the plant (not like it’s just fans or just old or just new growth, it’s sorta spread? Hoping it’s calmag?) Plant looks nice otherwise

Everything going well c02 bags shoud activate soon so with fans being able to run so low because of the led's I expect bags to be a winner got co2 kit ram controller was going to wait till next run which will be sealed but might give it a try as fans running so low (Any comments friends?)

Der EC-Wert betrug 1,650 mS/cm und der pH-Wert lag bei 5,8 😎 -Tag 75 Heute haben wir sie mit 2000 ml Wasser gegossen, angereichert mit 1,5 ml Calmag, 6,5 ml Canna PK 13/14, 2 ml HY-PRO Epic Blast sowie 0,32 ml HY-PRO Generator. Der EC-Wert betrug 1,590 mS/cm und der pH-Wert lag bei 5,8 -Tag 77 Heute haben wir bei ihr den pH-Wert kontrolliert, und er liegt bei 6,6. Das ist zwar nicht so gut, aber immer noch besser als beim letzten Mal. Der EC-Wert lag bei 940. Wir haben ihr Wasser mit einem pH-Wert von 5,7 sowie Mikroorganismen mit Weizensirup gegeben 😅

It was very easy, just added water every 2 or 3 days. I like the format of this site, because everything you need to know about the plant you can find here. I must say that the plant was very tiny. It's my first time growing so I have to change some things I did. For example I think it really helps to add nutrients and have a very powerful light. Its also important to have organic pesticides because the plant attracts a lot of bugs and other insects.

Week 2 for the solo Afghani went smooth. Looked a little slow to develop her first proper set of leaves, but the root development should help speed up her progression. Still feeding off the slow release 444 and is now regularly drinking about 2oz of water every other day. I also spritz the bottom of the outer cup to keep moisture levels high for stretching roots. She's about 36" from the light. Hoping to get a little stretch to make training easier. Added a couple new pics to get the week caught up. Stay tuned, week 3 starts training.
