She was a breeze. Put up with early drainage issues and over feeding during veg. Responded well to all the training and snipping bouncing back each time. And gorgeous flowers during late bloom that smelled like hard candy. Full disclosure I goofed the bloom pretty bad. Late in bloom I put a new bulb in only to find out I never took the MH out from veg. Had a couple of strokes plus in colorblind so judge me lightly. Anywhos aside from me screwing the yield down to 42g with that mistake it was a kick ass experience. Definitely will grow Red Dragon again very soon.

July 27: still growing fast. The new growth is a bit yellow and I haven’t decided what that’s due to. Lack of sulphate or excess Phosphorus are the two options I think. Anyway, she’s doing fine and is startling to preflower. 👍 Started using a 730 nm far red light for a few seconds at dusk. This is called phyto-forcing apparently because it promotes flowering. I really love science when it figures out random shit like how photosynthesis and light wavelength (or colour) interact. Outdoor plants naturally see a flash of far red light just before darkness and this light kind of ‘puts it to sleep’ or into dark mode two hours faster. So, two extra hours darkness or a 26 hour day. Sounds bogus but is totally legit. July 28: foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate. July 30: plant is looking great. The yellow on the new growth has faded and is now a better looking shade of green. I think it might have been excess P because the other plants kind of had it too and the timing was a couple days after adding barley and Power Bloom. This is right at the start of flowering when plants need lot of P, and the yellow is fading, so I’ll just let it go without doing anything about it. She’ll get over it.

Hey Growmies! I’ve been out of town, so this entry is a bit off-schedule, and watering was handled by an automatic irrigation system. That said, the flowers are looking big and developing fast, with senescence in full effect. The leaves are yellowing significantly, which tells us the plants are now entering the late stage of their lifecycle. They’re basically ready for harvest any day now—depending on your individual preference. Day 33 I have now got 2 bp1500s running at 66% 101w each so 202w total and at 20 inches it still puts out over 45000 lux =721 ppfd = 51.91 DLI, I'm running out of room haha might cut my hours back to 18 to reduce my DLI but they're not showing signs of burning or heat stress, have been tucking fan leaves to expose bud sites

i feed with nutes last watering about two days ago my idea is to feed one more time before the two week flush not really sure yet i have at lease a week to figure it out being the end of the plants life cycle is soposed to end in another week idk master growers were yall at?????😅

Week 5 has arrived. This is a 7 week strain and i will begin the final 3 week flush. Plant has much more leaf to bud ratio than i like. But it wilk start filling in shortly. The canopy is very even. Stay tuned.
