Journal de culture - Semaine 3 de croissance La plante a bien repris sa vigueur cette semaine, développant une belle masse racinaire, ce qui est très encourageant. Elle continue de se développer et je m’efforce de la maintenir la plus basse possible en utilisant des techniques de Low Stress Training. J’ai essayé le pinching, qui consiste à pincer légèrement les extrémités des branches pour les courber. Cela permet de rediriger les hormones de croissance vers les parties inférieures, ce qui maximise le développement des pousses. J’ai également effectué une légère défoliation en enlevant quelques grandes feuilles superflues. Pour le reste, je surveille principalement le pH. J’essaie de le maintenir autour de 5.8, mais avec les tampons présents dans les produits Terra Aquatica, il remonte régulièrement à 6.2. Je me demande si ce pH légèrement élevé pourrait être à l’origine d’un problème de coloration des feuilles, car la plante semble présenter une légère carence malgré la présence de tous les nutriments nécessaires. Je fais attention à ne pas ajouter trop d’acide afin de ne pas surcharger la solution nutritive. Globalement, la plante est en bonne santé et continue de bien évoluer. Je pense passer en floraison d’ici une ou deux semaines maximum. Étant donné qu’il s’agit d’une variété Jack Herer, qui a tendance à beaucoup s’étirer en floraison, je préfère la maintenir encore un peu en croissance pour travailler tranquillement avec les techniques de Low Stress Training et la défoliation. It keeps growing, and I’m trying to keep it as low as possible using Low Stress Training techniques. I’ve been trying pinching, which involves lightly pinching the tips of the branches to bend them. This redirects the growth hormones to the lower parts, maximizing the development of new shoots. I’ve also done a bit of light defoliation by removing some large, unnecessary leaves. Other than that, I’m mainly monitoring the pH. I’m trying to keep it as close to 5.8 as possible, but the buffers in the Terra Aquatica products keep raising it to 6.2. I’m wondering if this slightly higher pH might be causing some discoloration on the leaves—it feels like a deficiency, even though all the necessary nutrients are present. I’m cautious about adding too much acid to avoid overloading the nutrient solution. Overall, the plant is healthy and continues to grow well. I’m thinking about switching to flowering in a week or two at most. Since this is a Jack Herer strain, which tends to stretch a lot during flowering, I want to keep it in veg a bit longer while working with Low Stress Training and defoliation. Day 84 The plant appears healthy and vigorous, with broad green leaves arranged in a symmetrical pattern around several strong central stems, The foliage is dense, showing a rich, deep green color that suggests good nutrient balance and sufficient light exposure. The plant is growing in a fabric pot filled with dark, moist soil, which allows for proper aeration and drainage. This was the last week of Veg for these beautiful ladies. Installed the SCROG on Sunday afternoon, and they are already filling it in nicely. Started reducing light Thursday by 2 hours, so by Saturday they will be on a 12/12 light cycle to finish them off 🤗. Did some defoliation, and have been twisting and spreading the tops to fill the canopy screen. They are very thirsty, I had been watering every 3-4 days, and for the past week it’s been 2-3 and they are getting close to a full gallon each! I’ve Upped the light % gradually over the last 14 days from 50% to about 75% now in prep of flower. They have been responding well to the increases, as well as the extra heat generated. Temps are going up a bit, close to 81-82 degrees on very hot days here, but they are not too often. Average is about 79 degrees. Nutrients (P and K) were increased also in prep for the demand the flower makes as they begin. Looking forward to the good part. Happy growing 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

This was their last week! They had 4 full water feeds till runoff, and the trichomes we’re looking just right by Thursday (day 67). Throughout the week I had been increasing the light intensity and ended up running at 95% of what the SF4000 can do. I have stopped doing the 48 hours of darkness awhile back, so Harvest to come! Buds stacking slowly but surely. Will be a semi late finisher but it's ok, that's y I got the greenhouse. She has a crazy unique smell that's hard to describe. I'll pry give PEV another shot down the line. Especially outside since they are so resilient.

Last week of veg for these ladies. Did some major defoliation. They are so close to being full and tall enough to switch to flowering.

I'm back from vacation. So far, everything is fine with the ladies. They look great, and I think I'll be able to harvest them in a week and a half. 💚💚💚. From now on just tap water.

Inicio de floración , fotoperiodo 12/12h. bajo 300W, ATS Pro 2,7 µmol/J. Por lo que hace al cultivo. Una segunda aplicación foliar con Spider boom 3ml/l para prevenir posibles plagas de araña roja. Todo y habiendo unas temperaturas en el exterior de 0ºC en el interior se está bastante bién. 😋 Así de primeras diria que esta luminaria me parece de lo mejorcito que he tenido nunca, reparte la luz como ninguna otra penetrando mucho mejor. Otra es la comodidad para bajar o subir la potencia y la posibilidad de añadirle un controlador que monitorea la temperatura de la sala de cultivo, el fotoperiodo y la intensidad, así como la atenuación de potencia. Esta semana cansado de ir bajando o subiendo la potencia del extractor durante todo el año he decidido probar un SMSCom Smart Controller. De esta manera espero no sufrir tanto por las subidas ni por las bajadas de temperatura. Muchas veces son las que por A o por B descuido el interior y casulamente son los dias que el tiempo cambia repentinamente. Un primer foliar con Delta9 para que se pongan fuertes para lo que les viene.
