On day 1 things are going well. The buds are getting larger by the day and I'm starting to smell the terps. This is an interesting one, I can't figure it out just yet but there seems to be grapefruit in the background at least. I also did my last defoliation to bring in more light to the canopy. On day 3 the girls are doing well. My PH pen broke so I'm back to indicator drops until amazon hooks me up with a new probe. On day 4 the plants are doing well. I applied my final BTI treatment. The fungus gnat population is way down and almost completely eradicated. The girls are putting on more trichs everyday and the smell is increasing :) On day 5 I see no more fungus gnats :) I should receive my PH pen tomorrow and will finally be able to adjust my reservoirs pH with more precision. On day 6 the plants are doing well. On day 7 my new PH pen was ready for use. I discovered my reservoir got down to 5.5 PH yikes! I used PH up to get the PH to 6.1. I then changed out my reservoir with new nutrients. I PH'ed to 6.1

Most definitely a great strain to have in your garden if you want some color. Yield isn’t much but the flowers make up for that. I wish this strain had some more funk to it. Bud washing is still fairly controversial. I do it because this is a personal crop, i dont have much time or space to toss a plant that might show a bit. Jorge Cervantes does it, so can I! Updates to come!

5th Grow started!! Plan this time round is to improve on my soil / amendment / top dress technique. The difference this time is I'm trying some genetics from Zamnesia. 3x Runtz autos to run alongside 3 autos from fastbuds. It was a tricky decision due to fastbuds always delivering so far for me (to be fair only tried them & 1 other breeder). But the Zamnesia grows I've seen on here generally seem good and want to see what's out there. Will be interesting seeing what performs best. Only 8 days in. 100% germination. However the Runtz look a few days ahead right now. Other than that just a week left on the last plants from grow 4 which are looking pretty good. Thanks for reading have a great week 😊

if u wanna skip details just read the CAP LETTERS day 29 - januari 2 waterleaves from under the stems got cut off, also trimmed the lowest branches because the leaves were getting too big the soil plant has gotten no trim or cuts at all day 31 the ph of the res was 5.3 i changed water , roots look brown, not rotten or slimy just brown. day 32 the hydro plant gets healthy growth after the water change. ph is still too low (5.5) im waiting for my *PH up* i ordered online. never tought i would need it lol. she goes well on 5.5 but not enough calmag is absorbed like it does on 6.2 The pictures of day 32 display the difference is very big in the stems, the soil plant only got topped while the hydro plant had already a litle trim on the lowest branches and the branches above (in the midle of the bush where i topped them) so she got more stress and still is bigger then the soil. day 33 i got no ph up (for now yikes) sooooo i took 8 liters out of the res and replaced it with pure rainwater and 170 ppm calmag in it without nutrients to keep the acid level a bit higher. it worked as u can see in the final pictures the plant gets new growth a bit faster. ph up should be here by end of the week. day 35: plant start to stretch finnally, while i was doing LST later in the evening one of the top stems just snapped off completely OOOPS 😆. theres still a lot of branching going on and a nice bush she will recover very fast from this loss as i summoned the Cannabis Gods into my room as the planets lined up and perfected my PH up to 6 by adding the purest rainwater from the universe the roots cleaned themselves back to pearlwhite and started absorbing the nutes faster then ever. in all silence i knew this was my destiny and the stems grew so fast i could hear them grow. the whole experience was too much as i collapsed to the ground and stood up left the room and knew... i would never see these ph and calmag problems ever again and went down the stairs with my new powers THE PLANTS BOTH GOT GERMINATED ON SAME DATE. BOTH GOT TOPPED ON SAME NODE. I WAS FORCED TO TRIM 4 BRANCHES OF THE HYDROPLANT BECAUS IS WAS BLOCKING TOO MUCH LIGHT I ALSO CUT OFF THE 4 BIGGEST WATERLEAVES ON THE MAIN STEM. THE SOILPLANT DID NOT NEED ANY TRIMS AS SHE IS NOT GROWING AT AN INSANE SPEED, HOWEVER THE SOIL PLANT LOOKS HEALTHIER AND BIGGER BECAUSE THE FANLEAVES ARE STILL THERE. IF U WATCH THE STEMS IN THE PICTURES OF DAY 32 U CAN CLEARLY SEE THE HYDRO IS WAY BIGGER. I NEED TO CORRECT MY PH SO SHE ABSORBS MORE CALCIUM MAGNESIUM FOR EXPLOSIVE GROWTH.

Lowered PPM in nutes. Plants are starting to show more colors with a purple hue. Attempting to lower tent temps.

Second week of flower. The girls are looking great. Day 10 - Realizing that I may have waited too long to flip to flower. Plants are over-hanging my table.

Another excellent week comes to its close. Purplematic is boosting 3 huge colas, while its foliage get yellowish. It may have its last 3 weeks ahead before the cut. It’s foxtailing but still going strong with its wonderful colors. Size is small and I wonder my next experiment with this plant would be HST or even multiple toppings to slow down flowering and have a longer vegetative phase. We ll see. By the way this week I started feeding Rokzbastic instead of Bloombastic, for ripening and densification of buds. Pink Kush putting on 3 awesome super huge colas that are starting to get full of trichomes. This plant is really doing great and itss production will be awesome. I just wonder what main flavor it will have. The plant has at least 5 weeks more before cut. CBD 20:1 underwent HST to slow down its growth in height. The result is that the plant embraced the opposite direction completely, abandoning the attempt of flowering its standard main cola and rather boosting a very well distributed flowering along its branches. The plant may need 7 more weeks, but due to lack of time I will need to chop it in 5. I really hope by then will have grown its buds fully. Also for this one I m very curious to taste it!

Hey Cannafam, Well its been a fairly good week for my gal, weve had a few days of light rain but nothing to harsh,not enough to bring the snails out and this is probably the first week that shes not been attacked by a pest of some kind. Most days have been hot and sunny and its still been fairly warm at night as well, thankfully the temp drop has been enough to start bringing out the purple colours further. They start in the middle of the plant and are slowly spreading out 😊💜 Shes also been thirsty and has two feeds this week with a watering every other day. Smell is ramping up now and the lovely forest fruits can be smelt when you brush a sugar leaf. Bud development is slow and steady and shes starting to frost up now as well 😊 Overall shes doing well and the good weather is set to continue which im pleased about! I wish I could've taken more picture this week and previous week but I just could'nt remember to do it. Feeling nervous, but wierdly excited. Most promising strains for big yields are Super Silver and Tangie. Girl Scout Cookies being an autoflower already started to flower, wish it would have taken more time on veg to get bigger but it is what it is. Now starting flower. 12/12 cycle. 9 weeks
