Day 02 - Tuesday - 09/23/25 - Total Days: 163 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 86.0°F [30.0°C] - Humidity: 78.4% - VPD: 0.92 kPa - Soil %: [49, 41, 34, 53, 43, 40, 43, 45] ----------------------------------- - [13:03]: Time to start prepping for my first attempt at tissue culture! --- Ordered and received the AC Infinity PH Meter PRO [AC-PHM7] --- Since this is a brand new unit, the probe sensor needs to be cleaned and conditioned for calibration. --- For proper storage and conditioning, the meter includes a bottle of KCL (Potassium Chloride) storage solution. --- For a basic 2-point calibration, the pH meter also includes 7.00 pH [Mid] and 4.00 pH [Low] calibration solution. --- The pen does support a 3-point calibration, but does not include the 10.1 pH [High] calibration solution. For growing, the pH should never get that high anyways. The ideal averages are all below 7.00 pH [Mid to Low Points]. --- The meter also includes solutions for conductivity calibration, but don’t need these for tissue culture. --- Okay let's go! - [13:09]: Took the cap off of the unit and examined the new sensor probe. --- There was a tiny bit of condensation and a micro drops of the KCL storage solution in the cap. --- The glass sensor was clean, but the seal for the cap had a bit of mineral build-up. This is apparently normal for new meters. --- Swirled the probe in distilled water for a bit making sure to fully saturate the sensor and to rinse off the old KCL solution. --- Wiped the mineral deposits off with a clean paper towel. Made sure to be gentle around the glass probe and tried not to touch it much. --- Also cleaned and rinsed the cap with distilled water and dried with a paper towel. - [13:16]: Opened and poured about 3/4 of the KCL solution into the cap. --- Placed and probe cap back on making sure the sensor is fully soaking in the storage solution. --- Done! - [13:19]: The unit should be ready for a first-time calibration after a 30-minute soak, but going to be soaking for a lot longer. --- The probe needs to stay stored in this KCL solution and will top off with more as needed. --- Plan to calibrate the meter right before checking and adjusting the pH for the establishment media. --- Compared to my last pH meter (cheap Amazon pen), this one is a huge upgrade in both accuracy and complexity. --- Will need to do a bit of research on how to calibrate and use this meter properly. - [16:36]: Evening check on the 3x3 veg tent. --- With the recent TKO disaster in the main tent, glad that everything is looking healthy in the veg garden! --- All mothers (including TKO) are looking green and getting bigger! --- Now that the watering system is working again, the Heady OG mother is looking a lot better and she is starting to perk up. Browning of leaves slowed down loving the extra phosphorus and potassium

Diesel Automatic is doing OK, growing slowly and still with the mosaic pattern on the leave. @James from RQS took a look and said: I would say that you might have a potassium deficiency on your plants. the deficiency might be caused by an excess of fertilizers and nutrients. Excess salt is especially common as it tends to build up in the growing medium. Nutrient lockout is a very common cause of most deficiencies. When the pH of the soil is too low, it makes the medium too acidic. This causes stress in the root zone and prevents the uptake of potassium. Lets see what happens. 👍

Happy Easter. According to my calculations, the final week is beginning. Or the second to last. Let's see. I defoliate everything that has turned yellow. I think I read once that shortly before the end it is normal for the plants to draw all their nutrients from the leaves. So everything looks good, I think. Oh yes, I put my fan on the ceiling “McGyver-style”. Functions. Have fun looking for eggs.

Seedsman Sour Diesel Haze is in its pre-flowering stretch, she grew a lot over the past week and I don't think she's done stretching yet. Excited to see how big she gets! 👍

Day 33 from seed : It is evident that this strain is a smaller phenon than the others in the grow room this round. 2 of the. are a decent size but dont show the growth rate of the others at all. #1 is the biggest of these wimmin , She was happy to be spread out more and will benefit from the amount of light getting in to her original squat structure.. Her paling is getting way better now and the Mc is not being fed to her now. #2 is the little lady of this group and will be left to grow up with only a little help along the way. #3 is a similar size to #1 but very very pale still. she has been getting calmag and mc so has improved more and doesnt seem to have been stunted by it.

Hey there, Welcome to another week in the tent. All plants are proceeding well, only thing is the gelato leaves are very light green in places bordering on yellow. I have added a little exra N nutes to that plant to try and remedy. Other than that its plain sailing. Very easy going plants. Might just be me, but im sure that the QB has bought out the pistils sooner than the HPS did, but who knows. Light is doing very well, ecstatic with the upgrade. Fed them about 15 days ago started to show some deficiencies but they should start being absorbed by the plant now so hopefully they do well in the last 5 weeks of life hopefully I'll drop the temperatures down enough to where they'll go purple I'm praying that they do any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks for stopping by

Last week transplanted the plants to their final containers. Approx 12L and 17L fabric pots. Did my best to transplant without disturbing the roots, by first placing the small container in the new container to make an hole in the dirt. And then cutting apart the small container instead of pulling out the plant. Then just fitting the root-ball into the already made hole. Root development looked pretty good when I did the transplant. Transplanted into a rather well-fertilized soil. Don't plan on fertilizing these plants during the whole grow unless I otherwise see a reason to. Also started LST last week, bending the plants somewhat extreme, but they're taking it just fine. Water here is rather alkaline, so I'm starting to control the PH of the water now. There's a clear skunk smell that started last week as well, but only when the tent has been opened. Still, it doesn't take much time to notice if you stick your head in the tent. And this is already starting in Week 2 of veg! So the charcoal filter is set up. Pretty happy with the development so far, although I've still been seeing some thrips. If they're not completely gone by next week, might end up mixing some of the spinosad into the water so the plants absorb it. Day 16 - Cut off one of the lower fan leaves on both plants. It was blocking the other nodes from receiving much light. I am already able to start noticing mandarin/tangerine undertones in the smell when I've handled the plants.

Apple Fritter smell for days, makes you want to keep your nose in the bag. Ill need to grow this one again.
