Hi there! First week I have looked after the plants alone and they are excellent. Fruit Tree is getting the fastest and the densest buds plant beyond them so I think she is the fastest. No more ferilization for her just clean water every day I am planning to harvest at the beggining of February. Rest of them look fine maturing with time buds getting thick. All good so far back.next week.

Day 21 Flowering: Howdy Fellow growers. All has been good in the grow this week. The three Flowering ladies have been showing off this week with their flowering prowess. I did a little defoliation early in the week and I think the six shooter needed it more than the others. She is fairly small in comparison to the other 2 and hasn't been half as stretchy. I left her natural due to her size difference whichbi am glad I did now to keep her in the canopy with a chance. Strawberry Pie has been very stretchy and is now a great size for rhe flowering cycle. He runs are stacking up slowly which is a good sign this early that they should form long thick colas instead of spaced out clumps of buds. Mexican Airline is by far the leader for both size and bud stacking. She leads in the 6 plants germinated at rhe same time and I can already see how well she has done . She has a really open, large airy structure which will help as the hips thicken up. No smell yet from them but this is still very early days. These will be the final harvest of a perpetual Auto run that I have done to see if the same amount of time using Photoperiods will achieve the same total yield. I think these ladies will certainly set the bar high in the yield score. Feeding really well about every 3 days and no real signs of any deficiency. Happy days Growmies. be well.

Welcome back all, following a week that has been a fairly straight forward seven days or so in Fat Yappa's Garden, as the older Bruce Banners reach day 51, day 44 for the runt of the sisters, planted on the same day but that took a week longer to germinate, and day 42 for the two Wedding Cheesecake's, one growing in Coco Coir, the other in the same living soil as her Bruce Banner Fastbuds cousins. The week began with last weeks humidity issues brought well and truly into hand with the addition of the new 20L dehumidifier from Meaco, specifically designed for the UK weather. However a shift in the aforementioned from the falls dawn of an early spring, to a return to more usual climate conditions for this time of year through things off kilter once again. Despite pulling around 6L of water out the air a day, she was struggling to keep the RH down to around 50% with my central heating returned to its usual position of 18c, but an increase to 20c has taken things back in line, and the humidity has returned to the mid 40's I was aiming for. Humidity concerns during this off period however, and a subsequent inspection below the top layer of the canopy, which resulted in the discovery of quite a lot of whitish, moist growth, prompted a mass defoliation, mostly of the Bruce Banners. I had been performing very light defoliation up until this point, only removing dead/almost dead leaves, and very select leaves from the top of the canopy that were blocking what looked like bud sites, but the lack of light and air getting through past the top layer, together with the fact that now bud sites are far clearer to a novice such as I, lead me to the conclusion that the time was right. Besides the runt, all these plants have not even skipped a beat. The runt has been a bit droopier in her leaves than the others all in all, but I have looked in on them and seen her with leaves pointing up and praying a few times since so I trust all is well. Following the defoliaton on day 47, the plants stuck to their two day watering schedule, but di threatened to need an increase to daily, as day 50 saw waterings a mere 24hrs after the previous day, but feeling the weight of the pots yesterday I elected to wait til 48 hours to water again. The water amounts per plant has also become more erratic than previously, so I have been watering more carefully. Other than that the week has been pretty much plain sailing, and what look like to be some big looking flowers coming up all over the canopy, as all bar the Wedding Cheesecake in living soil are now fully in flower, but she will be there by next week. The Bruce banner I accidentally snapped the top off from the second node down doing LST a few weeks ago seems to be about half a week ahead of the other two of the same age, and trichomes have began to appear on the leaves around the buds. The biggest plant in the tent is still the wedding Cheesecake in Coco coir, as she now stand a metre tall and her top is the same level as the light now. Her size is a concern because it has caused me to neglect her in favour of the other plants, certainly in terms of light, but she doesn't seem to have any more bud sites than the other plants, and for the time being at least, her older cousins are leaving her to shame in this department, but she still has a week to catch up. Lastly, day 39 saw another compost tea feeding, the same recipe as last time. Happy growing everyone, and I will catch you all again next week.

A week with lots of activity from my side, from the Gorilla's side, not so much. She stays behind and I can't find any other reason than genetics/seed quality. She is in exactly the same conditions as the other girls. I'm letting her do her thing. She will give some weed, well see how much. Maybe she is a late-bloomer. She does look lush and healthy so we do not understand but are learning. I put in the scrog net since her roommates need it and lowered the lights and started giving more flowering feed. The light is still awesome, the amount it puts out. We will never know if it was the age of the seeds or something else. What I do know is, it was the last time I use a third party seedbank, it is apparently too hard to keep fresh stock with too many strains. Until breeders put a production date o the packaging. Isn't it time someone said that? Cause lets keep it real, we are talking seeds that in any other case would have a cost of production of fractions of cents per seed. We pay what? 3 to 5 to maybe even 20 dollars a seed for an exceptional strain? Is it then too much too ask to put a friggin expiry date on the package? Or store them cooled? The breeder that does that and arranges a deal with third-parties that overstock can be sent back, packaging recycled, in exchange for fresh stock. Like any other fresh trade. For an industry making what, a billion worldwide, it is remarkable how many are still in the stoner with a garage / 80's trailer park, backwater funfair warranty, kinda customer service. Me: i grow organic weed for 30 years, these seeds were old Seed dealer: Yes but you failed to do a raindance on the rising moon, no refund. Me: but its for cannabis? Weed industry: Yes why we charged you double! Me: wow no germination after paying 20 bucks for seeds? Industry: They are all stoners, they won't notice.... Oh girl oh girl, these ladies are having a good time. Switched the light schedule to 12/12 on 13 nov (21 days after germination) Steady growth on all plants still. I haven't switched the LED lights to flowering mode yet because there's no sign of flowering growth yet. By doing this the plants will stay nice and compact. Last watering was on 15 nov (5 days ago). I will water again tomorrow. This is my second indoor grow ever (and my first serious attempt), and I refuse to make the same overwatering mistake again ;) I removed 2 big fan leaves on the top of every plant. My theory is that the soon to become colas will get a bit more light and reach to the canopy quicker, let's see what happens over the next week. One of the cons of using seeds for a sea-of-green is the possible difference in growth. Luckily not too much difference in height between them so far (please note I corrected their height differences last week by raising some of the plants. I noticed a glassy, weird look on some of the leaves in the far left corner of the grow tent. After contemplating I realized that my fan was aimed in their direction and the issue might be wind burn, so adjusted the direction (see first photo) I noticed slightly higher humidity, around 60%. I will keep close attention and take action to lower it if needed.
