Hey everyone 😃 The time has come , On flowering day 64 the harvest was carried out 😍. After spending two days in the darkroom at 62% humidity, they were now harvested cleanly by hand 😃. After harvesting, they were laid out on the net as usual, where they can now slowly dry again for about 7-10 days at 62%. Then they come with 62% in jars for 2-4 weeks, and then the 58% boveda packs are put in 👍. Of course, I will come to the phenotypes themselves in detail in the last update. Week 6 and my babies are still in veg 😥 but I'm sure next week they will finally flip! 😁 Now, what can I say about the girl that's on the back? - She has some really long leaves and those stems are thin if I compare them to other plants I've grown. - Some of her leaves look too shiny, dunno why! - The internodes are really short, which is good and she's VERY bushy. Perhaps she went thru some kind of deficiency and that's why she looks like that? Or maybe it's something else? No idea! The other hand, the other baby: - She's developing really well. Ahead of her sister and I'm sure she'll be the first one to flip! I mean, it looks like she's already developing some pre-flowers! :D - She's a little taller compared to her sister - The internodes are short and the leaves are huge! They are also slightly darker compared to her sister. I reinforced the LST on both of my girls and I both tucked the leaves (a lot) and defoliated the plants just a little. Hey all welcome back to sort of week 12 or week 4 of flower! I have just got home and don’t no what to say...... gold leaf 1 has nanas that seam to have popped and could have wrecked the whole grow 😭 The girls are def hungry as you can see there is some yellowing of the leaves so they will be getting a good feed today and again in 3 days to keep them in the zone. They are stacking up and getting a little fatness to there buds. Frost levels are just starting to kick in and the tent is pungent!! Well the next few days will be spent watching for signs of any of the other plants turning male on us. Fair to say I’m a little gutted about now as I’m about to chop up a gold leaf that will produce over 4oz of dry buds fingers crossed this diary ain’t over

Week 10: I loved growing this strain, it smelled so fruity while the buds were on the plant. Towards the end of flowering the buds looked sugar dipped as described on the website. The sap from inside the stems smells like skittles and sugar lol which was a nice surprise! Most pistils are Amber so idk what the THC/CBD ratios are going to be. Il give an estimate once buds are cured for 2 weeks or so! So I’ve managed to get some street weed to compare alongside my own weed and I’ve added the pictures to the harvest so you guys can see them. I tried to pick the best street weed from about 4 varieties so here we go... The street weed is called Wedding Cake, my weed is obviously Smoothie and I suppose what I want to know is how the street weed looks, does it look healthy? Any guesses as to how it was dried or cured if even? The first noticeable thing is that the street weed stems are huge and the sugar leaves seem to be left on the plant to dry too. Although I did leave sugar leaves on this time I feel that it’s not very professional. I have smoked a joint of the wedding cake and it’s not all that great, feel a bit sedated/couch locked but not high or happy if you know what I mean :) but yeah please let me know what you think in the comments :) Curing Update: (1) Been curing for a week and buds are definitely smoking much better now, the taste and burn still isn’t amazing as it needs a few more weeks curing but it’s unique and exotic. It’s very strong when it comes to THC, because it still needs further curing you could smoke a whole joint and think damn that’s still too fresh to get me blazed. By the end of the joint you would be struggling to keep a conversation or stand up, Stoned eyes that even eye drops won’t cure :’D and it’s also a real head high in my opinion, audio/visuals definitely enhanced too, everything is extremely bright, sharp and sounds great! I don’t really care about time of day smoke as i could need something stronger at different times for pain etc but this is definitely a Nighttime smoke, it hits so hard that the best thing you can do is put on some music and close your eyes or watch a movie. An amazing strain for zoning out entirely into some chill music and if you need weed to deal with strong physical or mental pain or sleep problems then I would recommend giving this a go as so far it has been a lifesaver for me. Curing Update: (2) So I think the buds have been curing for just over 2 weeks now and they are looking great and smoking pretty well too. A few more days drying wouldn’t have hurt them but I’m not worried as my Blue Cheese and Pineapple Express harvests are just around the corner! I added some lovely photos and a video to show you guys how it looks And I’m just about to blaze up a joint from the last photo and tell you all how it smokes too... (Lights up joint) Slightly damp on lighting it up although it burns near perfect. Instant hit on the back of the throat with smooth/mango flavors. I feel a bit dizzy quite quickly and want to sit down and listen to music after a few tokes followed by a relaxed or mellow feeling. I’m about halfway through the joint now and I’m pretty stoned. Definitely sweet and smooth like blueberry also sherbet sweet like mango! I’m almost finished my joint now and I suppose to sum up I’d say that it’s much like the blueberry smoothness you expect mixed with the strength from a well grown mango. I felt that the effects are great if your in a nice comfortable setting, get relaxed, be creative, watch a movie or even get ready to sleep. I would avoid anything that requires a lot of effort. Personally I’ve had minimal problems with getting to sleep and with anxiety while taking this throughout the day and would highly recommend it! It’s the best thing I’ve grown so far :) Il leave a final review on the buds in 2 weeks, until then take care and happy growing! Curing Update (3) - 05/03/20 So I’ve finished the smoothie buds and I have to say they were great. The only negative was it’s my first time drying buds with trim and they could have done with a little longer drying. I made some canna butter from 3G of trim and 2.25g of bud. I made ginger cupcakes with salted caramel icing. You guys can see it cause I added a photo. I can only eat 2 per day with a heavy tolerance - sedative cupcakes hahah. The plants seemed to recover very well this week from the nutrient burn last week. I did a defoliation on some of the odd nodes of the Dominican Republic to free up some wasted energy. The ppm was still reading a little high on each so I didn't feed them and just flushed them back to appropriate values. My grow light was finally cleared through customs and I added it to supplement the light issues which the plants seemed to respond very nicely too. Halfway through the week I applied some foliar spray and it really improved the colour and health of the plants. Lastly I topped each plant to resume progress on the mainlining and they should each reach 4 healthy lines within the new week.

Still going strong 💪... smell is amazing, looks beautiful,.. really happy with this strain, just needs to finish up strong now. Roll on next week 👌

She is really starting to smell now. Hairs are turning orange and shes looking great. I just got a USB Microscope and checked the trichomes and they are looking mostly clear with some cloudy,

Well well well thanks to all of you for reading my diary and supporting that project 😎 This was the longest run I've been through for a while, but it was worth it. I was rewarded with 168g of top shelf quality buds, while she was under a 110W SMD (LM301B) board. Only 110W... I was amazed by these boards by InvisibleSunLed, and very happy of my investment. Samsung diodes are game-changers and it will get even better in a near future, what an exciting time for us modern growers! If you plan to buy some SMD boards, make sure the driver is dimmable, the light intensity can be so strong at its maximum, you could burn your plants (or your eyes). I started the board at 50% (~55W) and slowly increased the wattage as I was seeing a happy plant enjoying her indoor sun. I was also very surprised by the cheap IKEA bulbs, some ingeneers at IKEA must be growing pot, these tiny things do really work! I wouldn't try to flower anything with these, but it was perfect for the first weeks of my THC-Bomb. I made some canna-butter using the sugar leaves from the trim and some decarboxylated buds, and cooked a big cake. That s*** was strong as hell, I was unable to do anything for 24 hours 😭 If you're not used to edibles, start with small pieces rather than a big cake, I learned it the hard way 😜 I will now work on gaining knowledge about nutrient absorption in coco, improving my photo skills (must get a new camera..), and I will also look for a better way to produce timelapses. Day 63 Flower Well we’re coming to the end of the grow cycle. These plants are looking great. They’re starting to get a bit of purpling on the leaves and trichomes are clouding up. I flushed with 7 gallons of plain water with typhoon cleanse. It’s stripped about 300 ppm per gallon, got my runoff down to 110, and probably do an RO flush if I need to push it longer. I am very happy with the stank, quality, density and trichome coverage on these buds. The smell is a ripe sweet lemon with and earthy hazy musk. Could use more lemon but I’m not going to complain. My house is rank and can be smelled outside even with the carbon filter going 24/7. I’m super excited to see how the effect is on this strain. It’s one of my all time favorites and I’m pumped that it has turned out to be quality!!! Happy Growing 🌱
