2024-08-31 They may have stopped to stretch, iam not sure, but i think so, you can see how the buds are forming, and they are already purple, thats fun leaves are changing color thats the tribute to the last 2 days where it was very hot and sunny, and tehy needed lots drinks and the big growth costed some leaves too. but anyways, not a Problem at all the Girl in the garden has more yellow leaves. BREEDER INFORMATION The cross of Frisian Dew with DucksFoot created Frisian Duck. It has such name due its characteristic leaf shape that looks like a duck's traces. The plant has a good growth in greenhouses and outdoors and also indoors. The strain is easy to grow and suit for begginers. It is harvested at the start of October outdoor and after 8 weeks of flowering indoor. The plant reaches 1.5 m indoor or 2.5 m in height outdoor. It demonstrates purple colors during a blooming and looks like a christmas tree. Frisian Duck develops compact buds. The strain has spicy aromas and tastes of pine, citrus and fresh wood.

Let's put it this way, the leaves show clear problems, on the other hand the buds continue to grow well. I was only able to counter this a little with the fertiliser, but you can also see in the timelapse that it hasn't worsened any further. I have uploaded pictures of the leaves, you are welcome to give your opinion/assumption.

EC schrittweise auf 1.3 - 1.4 Die ersten 4 Tage im Video kaum Wachstum (war unterwegs)...Blumat war verstopft...Blätter sind unheimlich dünn geworden und die untersten großen verwelkt...ab Mitte der Woche 4 konnte ich eingreifen...danach bissl manuell LST (mit der Hand gebogen) betrieben und entlaubt...bissl später scrog Netz spannen und Pflanze schön in die Breite ziehen. Im Großen und Ganzen hat sich die Pflanze wieder schnell erholt und gedeiht weiter. Heute auf 12h umgestellt (bin schon ganz aufgeregt...SF1000 raus und SF2000 rein(füllt die gesamte Breite des Zeltes aus😬)...zunächst ca. 45 cm Abstand und 80% trotzdem Photonen schon ca. 40% mehr...in paar Tagen gehe ich auf 100%...habe auch Seitenlampen (Niello T8) bereits installiert aber noch nicht eingeschaltet...evtl. wird das zuviel aber ich experimentiere halt gern...3 Optionen...die Pflanze geht dann richtig ab...Sie geht ein...oder es beeinflusst nichts ausser Stromrechnung.

Couple days after the big defoliation at the end of week 2 flowering and all is looking good. Wasn’t sure if I took too much but it seems to be exploding still and I’m still tucking a bit but mostly We are letting them come up a bit above the screen to start forming our canopy. Looks a bit uneven now but all bud sites are exposed within 10 inches of the canopy and everything is being kept clear as possible. Girls are growing good. Previous I had problems with temperature because it's freezing outside. This problem is fixed by turning off the vent every hour (automatic) And there enjoying it. This week gonna stop adding roots en start adding sugar royal 1 time a week 2ml/l

When I decided to start growing, I knew it was likely going to be hard, though interesting, work. What I didn’t expect was that it would be this much fun 😄 It’s been a pure pleasure watching their growth slow down while their calyx’s fatten, multiply and get frostier by the day. I lowered their nutrients because their leaf tips were showing signs of burn. Some leaves were also showing potassium deficiency, but I think that’s a result of their pH constantly jumping to 6.4 because they were under feeding most of last week.

Terpenes are like an invitation to travel I’d say to Brazil, on Copacabana beach, sipping a citrus and passion fruit caipirinha!🤤🤤 *Autoflowers and Fast Flower have the same terpene profiles, but with Fast Flower, the terpenes come through way more powerful💥

Man! I am definitely hooked on my new hobby. Harvested 96 grams of smokable bud and 93 grams of bud/leaves that I will be using to make dry ice hash. Took a third of that second weight (31 grams) to account for pure bud (which is more on the low end) and added to my 96 grams of good flower to get the 127 grams total. Made plenty of mistakes that I’m sure dropped my yield, the biggest being the lighting situation. Plants grew right into my light and even got bleached. The height of the plants made the outer colas grow past the high light areas, which made the buds very airy. But overall it was an amazing experience. I learned a lot of things, some that I have already incorporated on my second grow. And even with my drop in yield, I still ended up with more than enough flower to last me to my next harvest, so this was a great grow for me. Thanks to everyone who followed, liked, and commented. UPDATE: Day 2 of week 12 - Friday 6th Nov: Nutes in today, haven’t really had to do much else, as the girls just seem to be concentrating on fattening up the buds at a nice steady pace. Oh and this week I’ve finally got a hint of a fruity tropical sweet smell from the buds.. It’s truly lush.. My thoughts are now at when to flush the ladies and how many weeks are left? I’d like to time it all perfectly but as this is my first grow now sure exactly how long they have left! Trichomes are still looking clear and pistils are still mostly white but don’t wanna get caught out and miss the best time to harvest and flush.. Keeping a close 👁️.. UPDATE: Day 4 of week 12 - Sunday 8th Nov: Nutes in again and all looking good, except for the girl that got really wilted last week, she’s doing ok but no way near as nicely developed as the other 3 girls. She has one main cola that’s taken off more than all the other colas which I think may be partly due to topping not working as well as is did on the other 3 girls, she still has one really thick stem compared to the other 3. However the wilting did really slow her down on top of that 😞.. Apart from that I’m pretty happy, Christmas 🎄 is coming and it looks like I will have my first ever home grown smoke just in time.. 🙏🏼❤️🌱 UPDATE: Day 7 of week 12 - Wednesday 11th Nov: Nutes in and a small amount of defoliation. Girls weren’t quite ready for a feed yesterday but this morning they were super thirsty and leaves 🍃 were slightly droopy, nothing major but they were all really ready for a drink. Put an extra 18w 2700k LED strip (from an impulse buy at the beginning of my grow journey) in last night to try and boost bud growth. I think my Viparspectra 300w LED alone wasn’t cutting it. I know it’s only a small increase in watts but the extra 2700k flower lighting for the last week weeks of flower can’t be a bad thing right? .. My DLI was 32 before adding the light so I hope this works positively. Looking at the girls at around 10 hrs after adding the additional LED and they look great so let’s see what happens.. ✌️🏼 & ❤️🍃🌱

Water change day .. Drinking. 2000 ml each per day.. So 6 days on the nute change... ******************* 2 Buckets done .. 5 Left . I may leave the caramel cream autos until tomorrow , they are drinking slightly less per day , but the big girls are drinkers for sure .... So getting better at mixing nutes, bought giant bag of disposable droppers, god damn so much easier for me . I have visual impairment, and shaky hands from the brain tumors. The visual impairment is bad, but the shakes come and go . I normally get a few good rips on the Dr Dabber Switch before i start to help. But the mixing went much better . less mess and i simply pitched the pipette after each use . YEs i know wasteful .... but for me , for now its what i have to do. 1 pipette for each nute for each bucket, they are cheap enough. This way not contaminating anything, and at the amount im mixing, 3 mils - 20 mils each . Biggest problem i have, and i guess maybe not a bad problem ... I have 4 girls on one side of the 4x9 tent, and 3 on the other. The four on the one side are all Glue Gelato Autos and my lord I can not get to the back left side bucket at all with the amount of foliage. So moved a bucket to the other side to allow me to drop in a pail to do a siphon out and refill. See pictures... So I am 10000% upgrading to the 13 gallon x 8 fall ponic system after this grow ..... THANK GOD the caramel cream autos are half the size and 1 of the glue gelatos is slightly smaller on the right to allow me to move around the tent slightly, and im a lean dude.... But i am surprised each day when i check the progress just how far they have come for my first try ... Still have low expectationsfor crops and yields , but am loving the time learning and getting to know hydroponics. I TOTALLY get when the OG growers say just listen to them they will tell you what they need, legit all i have done is feed, maintain enviroment and observe. positive i can not make the same moistakes i made so far net time just by learning my lessons and understanding better the purpose for each Nute and how to spot when the plants are asking for them . I came back after vacation, the girl is ready for cutting, the rainy weather has started, so there is a threat of rot, you can say I managed to find just a few small pits in time and removed them and threw them away, the big and stiff flowers look fantastic:) but after a long trip I was tired, so I didn't take quality photos :( no everything else, I am very satisfied with the result I got:) its smell already lets me know that it will be good:) a lot of sugar leaves from which I will make bubble hash:) I will update the weight when it dries.

Week 7 is going smoothly so far. The flooding issue has subsided and the clones seem to be really taking off now. I'm excited to get back from vacation and really see my girls and my reservoir conditions after a 2 week hiatus.

Started the first top dressing of Gaia Green All Purpose and Power Bloom at a 50/50 ratio of 1tbsp/gal each.
