Soo this week the trop cookies ff has been doing g great.. I've been contemplating when to put her into flower.. I will wait a few more days now till she perks back up from her last training session then I will put her in the flower tent.. Woche 4 / Vegi Woche 3 Der Grow: Am Anfang der Woche wurde das erste Mal getoppt. Ziel des toppen war es, 6 neue Haupttriebe zu haben. Da die Triebe der ersten Nodien viel kleiner waren, als die der zweiten, habe ich solange gewartet, bis die Triebe der vierten Nodien, so große Blätter hatten, dass sie nachdem toppen, gleich mit Photosynthese beginnen können. Dann wurde über den vierten Nodien getoppt und die Triebe, samt Blätter, der ersten Nodien entfernt. Die Pflanze hat das toppen gut verkraftet. Ich mache von jeder Woche Zeitrafferaufnahmen und man konnte sehen, dass alle Triebe gleich nach dem toppen weitergewachsen sind. Den Rest der Woche, habe ich die Pflanze, einfach wachsen lassen. Die Triebe haben sich gut entwickelt und die Pflanze ist wie erwartet kompakt geblieben und extrem buschig geworden. Vermutlich werde ich in der nächsten Woche, die 6 Haupttriebe erneut toppen, um auf 12 Haupttriebe zukommen. Dazu aber im nächsten Update mehr. Im letzten Update hatte ich geschrieben, dass ich die Bodenfeuchtigkeit, versuche bei 55% zuhalten. Dies scheint jedoch zu viel zu sein. Nachdem ich die 55% einige Zeit gehalten habe, wurde der Topf, in der Drainageschicht, sehr nass. Ich hatte zwar noch keinen Drain, aber das der Topf in dem Bereich sehr nass war, hat mir gezeigt das sich dort Wasser sammelt. Aber eigentlich sollte der Bereich trocken sein. Deshalb habe ich die Bodenfeuchtigkeit langsam gesenkt und peile jetzt die 50% an. Man konnte auch sehen, dass sich die Blätter im Verlauf des Tages nicht mehr komplett aufgestellt haben. Sondern ehr leicht nach unten hingen. Was für eine beginnende Überwässerung spricht. Mittlerweile ist der Bereich der Drainageschicht, wieder komplett trocken. Den VPD habe ich im laufe der Woche langsam erhöht, bis auf 1,4kpa am Ende der Woche am Tag und auf 1kpa in der Nacht. Diese Werte werde ich jetzt so weiter fahren, bis zur Umstellung auf die Blüte. Der DLI wurde am Anfang der Woche auf 30 erhöht. Lights 12/12/ par 900/ co2 500 ppm/ temp 22-27 night 19-21/ organic soil/ technaflora nute/ water ppm 1400 ph 6.5/ 4L per plant Week three of flower is done power went out so I kept the light cycle going with a flashlight lol. Welcome back everyone, As you can see are almost all seedlings growing. Some where still in the soil. Might happend when giving water(seedlings can turn or get deeper), checked it out and they are alive and well. All pictures are from day 4. The humidifier had been added, so I had to adjust the room. I spotted a corner of the room that gets dryer faster. I adjust the fan for now and see what happens. Corners are always hard to get perfect. Sometimes the light, air, watering doesn't come there properly. Seedlings don't need much nutrients, neighter do autoflowers. with normal soil I would recommend to only give water for 1-2 weeks, since it holds nutrients in it as well. But since I'm using Cocos for this grow, I might have to add some basic nutrients in the upcomming week. For this week I gave/give only water turns and Startbooster/rhyzotonic turns. Update day 5: - Lowerd the lights to avoid stretching, they are now at 75cm distance from lamp to pots. I want them at 40-50 cm, but I don't want to rush it. - Added another layer of cocos to avoid the soil from drying up therefore the roots from dying. This will happen because of lowering the lamps down, the soil will get exposed more to heat. As you can see, the humidifier is doing his thing haha. Pictures and videos where taken without the lights + fans on. because of that, it will look like this. Still fun thought. Gorilla Glue has done 1 week at a 12/12 light schedule. She should start stretching a lot this week. I did some training today. I trimmed up bottom more, along with defoliation in canopy. The trimmings have a strong smell. Good sign at this point. I have not increased the light strength since last week on the Spider Farmer G3000 light. It is running at 50 percent right now. Although I am sponsored I will not be able to grow every strain because not every strain can deliver the result I need to remain self-sufficient. If you know of an auto strain or photo strain that takes at least 11 to 15 weeks I would like to know so that I can grow it in the future and of course I will try to set a record for that grown strain. 8/7 Plants were still heavy this morning. Temperatures have been much milder. 70's is much better than 90's. I had to water twice a day for a while. I defoliated ahind found some heat stress ob the gmo canary on the end with some twisted leaves. Some leaves are turning purple on an event horizon and gmo. Night Temps are much cooler plus its probably a pheno thing. I defoliated everything dead yesterday. Found lacewind eggs. Saw an adult green lace wing this morning in the garden along with a couple more lady bugs. There were also some lady bug larvae so I hope the go right to town. It's getting cooler so if I'm going to poorly I need to do it. Sherb pie plant seems to he the pillars favorite. I've killed a few of them. Still need to fix supports and do a little more defoliation. I have a video too but it's too slow to upload now. STOPPED AFTER GETTING MY TIRES PUT ON AND DAD SAID THE LITTLE PLANT IN THE 5 GAL BUCKET IS DROOPING. I WENT BACK AND OF COURSE IT WAS. EVERYTHING GOT A QT EXCEPT THE 10 GOT HALF A QT. THE 50 GOT SLIGHTLY MORE. A fucking chipmunk ran in my garden when the door was open. He was going fast and I couldn't find him. I looked under the pallets the entire length. Hopfully he just ran out of a hole or up the fence. I'm going to get an air horn and blow it inside the cage. I need to get some zip ties and do a little rearranging before I setup the other supports for flower. Suprisingly the plantvin the 50 went from the furthest from flower to having little budlets on it. Can't be an auto or I think it would've flowered already. 8/12 Ending of the lions gate portal. Everything looked good this morning. The one in the 5gal was removed until I figure out its issue or trash it. The yield would be less than a branch anyway. Probably chronic underwatering. The 10 was bone dry despite the 3in of rain. Some bags seemed light. Looked at last years diary and went with my intuition. WATERED TODAY. Gave everything a gallon. I moved the event horizon to where the 5gal bucket wad and STARTED reorganizing to use the most of my space. I gotta pick up some zip ties and finish the supports but I'm happy. Plants look happy. Not as tall as last year but they are SUPER bushy. I'm going to have to open some up and spread the branches. I'll keep this updated. WENT OVER AROUND THREE. I CHECKED OUT THE LITTLE PLANT AND NOTICED MULTIPLE BUDSUTES DIEING. I ALSO SAW WHAT "COULD'VE" BEEN A MALE PREFLOWER. MY INTUITION TOLD ME TO GET RID OF IT. ITS LESS THAN A BRANCH OFF THE CROP IT COULD HARM. LUCKILY I HAD BAGGED IT UP BEFORE IT BEIBG REMOVED AND IT WAS FAIRLY WELL SEPERATED. AFTER CUTTING AND DISPOSING OF IT I BROUGHT THE BUCKET TO EMPTY. IT WAS EXTREMELY ROOTBOUND. THE ROOTS WERE WHITE EXCEPT THE ONES ON THE OUTSIDE WHICH WERE A NEON GREEN. THE INSIDE OF THE BUCKET HAD WHAT LOOKED LIJE GREEN ALGAE ON IT. I IMAGINE THAYS PROBABLY WHERE MY PROBLEMS CAME FROM. I'VE USED THIS BUCKET SECERAL TIMES AND IVE SEEN TJIS TYPE OF ALGAE BUT USUALLY ONCE I SANITIZE ITS GOOD TO GO. IM NOT SURE IF IT WAS BEING ROOTBOUND OR THE ALGAE THAT DID IT IN BUT I HAVE MUCH BETTER SPACING NOW. THIS WAS THE RIGHT DECISION. I COULDNT BEAR THE RHOUGHT OF MY GIRLS GETTING POLLINATED. I'm thinking I should've upped the water to a gallon and a half or two but I'll do that next time I guess. Only problem I can see is some septoria looking spits on the toasted toffy and one gmo looks like itscrunning through nutrients quicker than others. Dad said he thinks this is my best year. He said they're more full and healthier looking. I looked at my diary last year and I had plants over the top of the cage. The weren't as bushy but I'm not complaining. These are far more indica dominant than last year so that's probably part of it. Leaves on the event horizons are starting to turn purple. I'll update what I do. I defoliated what needed it and combed through the plants hunting pillars. I GUESS I FORGOT TO UPDATE THIS OR IT DIDNT SAVE.
