Willkommen zur achten Woche – Blütewoche 4 liegt hinter uns Wouw – acht Wochen sind schon wieder vorbei! Leider kommt das Update diesmal etwas verspätet, da mich eine Krankheit kurzfristig ausgebremst hat. Die Woche selbst verlief allerdings sehr ruhig. Die tägliche Arbeit ist inzwischen auf ein absolutes Minimum gesunken, da die Ladys ihre Routine gefunden haben und konstant weiterarbeiten. Die Entwicklung bleibt – wie in den Wochen zuvor – durchweg hervorragend. Fast die gesamte Blütezeit liegt bisher im absoluten Sweetspot, was sich nicht nur sehen, sondern trotz Filter und konstantem Unterdruck auch deutlich riechen lässt. Das Terpenprofil ist bereits jetzt sehr ausgeprägt. Es verteilt einen intensiven, süßen Duft im Raum, der stark an Zitrone, Limone und andere fruchtige Aromen erinnert. Besonders spannend ist dabei, dass sich die Aromen trotz der Geruchsfilterung gut durchsetzen – ein deutlicher Hinweis auf ein kräftiges Terpenprofil und gesunde Pflanzen. In puncto Wachstum hat vor allem die kleine Nachzüglerin in dieser Woche ordentlich aufgeholt. Mit über 37 cm Zuwachs steht sie nun bei beachtlichen 98 cm. Die Pflanze unten rechts hat sich auf 105 cm gestreckt, oben rechts misst nun 83 cm. Und der dominante Sativa-Phänotyp hat es mittlerweile sogar auf stolze 130 cm geschafft. Da sich das Höhenwachstum bei den meisten weitgehend abgeschlossen hat, geht nun sichtbar mehr Energie in die Ausbildung der Blütenstände – und das merkt man. Die Buds haben in der letzten Woche ordentlich an Volumen und Harz zugelegt und wirken schon jetzt vielversprechend. Nährstofftechnisch habe ich Green Sensation inzwischen durch Canna PK 13/14 ersetzt. Zusätzlich kam Cannazym zum Einsatz, um die große Wurzelmasse gesund zu halten und den Stoffwechsel zu unterstützen. Leaf-Tucking wird weiterhin regelmäßig angewendet, um den unteren Trieben Licht zu verschaffen, ohne die Pflanzen unnötig zu belasten. Zudem wurden die Ladys in dieser Woche ein letztes Mal entlaubt, um die Luftzirkulation zu verbessern und den Fokus voll auf die Blütenbildung zu lenken. Besonders zufrieden bin ich aktuell mit der Klimasteuerung – VPD, Luftfeuchtigkeit und Temperatur sind sehr stabil und genau im gewünschten Bereich. Das schafft optimale Bedingungen für die Photosynthese und fördert die Harzbildung in dieser entscheidenden Phase. Insgesamt bleibt es spannend. Der Platz im Zelt ist inzwischen sichtlich zu knapp, was die Luftzirkulation und Lichtverteilung etwas erschwert. Trotzdem bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem bisherigen Verlauf und freue mich auf die kommenden Wochen – denn jetzt geht es langsam auf die Zielgerade zu.

Really happy with my yield. 70 grams doesn't look it. But adding up 14 plants i nearly push 1400g.. so overall I'm a happy chappy.. Love MSNL. I've lots to hit on their list. I've another GDP auto going Thc bomb auto & Purple haze auto. (I've like 6 hazes going atm so I'll run this later)

The buds are forming! Changed to a nicer light recently, light is great, although my mars hydro 600w did me justice. This new one I got of amazon for under $100 is 1000 watt led and crushing it. It has increased temps significantly which is a bit tough for me to control given my tent is in a closet. Also it is starting to getting less humid outside, so I reduced airflow in the tent to keep the humidity at 50. I have a small humidifier coming soon (oddly a Corporate work gift lol).

📆 Week 12, 7-12 July 2024 Harvest 8 July - Turned light power down to 25%. Changed nutrient solution to RO water to begin flush. 11 July - Harvest 12 July - Begin curing time. 📑 Harvest time! She is ripe, danky, sticky, full of resin, solid, and I am pleasently suprised at the yield. This is not your ordinary Auto Afghan variety. She produces heavy buds and a lot of them. This is also the first auto I have grown using DWC in 12 weeks without manipulation - 18 hours straight from start to finish. I pushed her to the limit. Now she will hang in the closet at 50-55% RH and 70 degrees F, for about 7-10 days curing. Then she will trimmed and put into one quart glass mason jars, with 62% Boveda TurpShield and burped until 62% RH is maintained. The full potency potential and terp profile will be reached in about 30-45 days. 📆 19 July 2024 The Smoq Report: After 7 days of hanging, she was ready to cut. I trim and shape each individual bud, removing unwanted leaf and stem. It’s a process but worth it if you smoke bud. Her potency is evident. It will take the experienced smoker to a satisfying high and keep you there for a good hour or more before you want another hit. The smell and taste is of a typical Afghan. I was expecting a heavier yield, but in the end I guess we all hope for a little more! Yo. A new week has started. Day 50, These girls have a great week. Packing on some weight and starting to stack nicely. Day 53, lights gone to 100% really happy with how these ladies are doing. Really starting to stack up and put some weight on. Feeding these girls quite heavy now watering 1ltr every other day. ✌️ Day 55, moving on slowly. Cold night time temps slowing things down a little I think. The smell is getting stronger and stronger. Messed the days weeks and months uo again 🤦‍♂️ Day 57, keeping week 8 open to catch up so my diary’s correct. Very happy with these girls. Day 58, fed and watered last night. Night time temps are getting really low now and RH is creeping up so keeping a close eye on things. The smell is so sweet. 7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Landrace Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Black African Magic: Black African Magic, Alson known as BAM, is a Sativa pure land race strain, It's classified under the Cannabis Sative species and its genetics come from Africa-the Ituri Forest in the Dmocratic Repoublic of Congo. The Effects are said to be Very Psychedelic, used for Stress managment and for better sleep and rest. This is my frist Land Race so we, will see how this goes together.. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Everything looks like it is going good, she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth. Tent has been modified for cooler temps. Temp is now around 75* with lights on. Lights 100% on and slightly lowered now they can handle it with lil to no heat. Molasses added to every feed along with Biologics. Plants may need one last feeding as leaves are starting to barely droop. Might leave alone if the plants are okay and start to get ready for their flush in a couple weeks. Maybe a tablespoon of fertilizer won’t hurt and go extra hard when it’s time to flush. Overall happy grow! Gnats have infested the tent so tents been sprayed with neen oil when lights are off and tent is officially sealed and closed for good.

August 18, day 108 (day 41f), the buds are going through their final ripening before harvest. They are putting on a bit of weight still, but the trichomes are close to where I would like them to be (entirely cloudy) and there is some foxtailing starting on some of the buds. I don't mind the foxtailing as it means more harvest weight, but the plant is definitely getting closer to the end of its life. The Mandarine scent and beautiful red tones make this strain a winner. The buds are chunky in a good, balanced, "I'm not going to find rot in the middle" kind of way. August 21, day 111 (44f), flush soon, cut soon. I have changed tent to a bigger one 120x120x200 and upgraded my carbon filter and fan to a spider farmer 6” intelligent which seems all great happy with plants looking healthy I have another mare hydro ts1000 to also go in tent which will be going in around a week 😁👍 thanks to all
