This week went well, she stopped stretching on Day 47 and I transitioned to flowering nutes. I finally decided to set up another reservoir, so I will now have one for veg and flower nutrients, with a valve that I can easily switch between either reservoir for either plant. Not much left to do for this one, just sit back and hope that the buds get nice and fat. She is still loving this new Mars Hydro EC 3000, and excited to see what happens over the next few weeks. Start of week 8. Looks good. No big issues to report so that's good. Dropping feed to 350ppm. Using dry koolbloom for ripening and I plan to start flushing mid week. The gelato is having a hard time standing up. I've tied up branches everywhere. I took clones from plants that were in 3 weeks of flower for those 2 plants. (Monstercropping). It does work where there are way more stems and budsites. The downside is most stems are weak and cannot support alot of weight. It was a good experiment though. Thanks to the community for all the likes and support. Looking to harvest most plants in the next 2 weeks. Tricomes are filling up and beginning to turn cloudy on at least half the plants. Week 3 for my replacement. Seeing some yellow leaves at the base. Not freaking out yet because the top leaves are okay. The 9 week plant whew! Before I could only smell it if I rubbed the stems. Now, I get a slight smell as soon as I open the tent up. It’s not overpowering at all, and really pleasant. Is it okay if the goers touch the wall of tent?

She has really starting to put effort into her buds. I trimmed most of the fan leaves from the main side branches to allow more light underneath, and so she can put more time into those buds

SO..........................the girls are doing okay. I can only expect so much, given they're in 5 gals (except for LB), and half of them didn't get a good start. It's a nice experiment, for comparison sake. I don't think there's any bad plants here (of course, I don't think there are any bad plants ANYWHERE, EVER), just some early bloomers and some that still need some time. I've been feeding them with Tiger Bloom and a seaweed/kelp additive, and they've had two doses now of guano for top-dressing. Now I'm running out of room, should've planned better and left more room at the top of the bags. Never again with the 5 gals, they're great for indoor but way too restrictive for outdoor even way up here in Maine. I just finished LST again and they're looking pretty funky, but it's getting the desired result. GLad I kept some of them straight and didn't top, I want to see the difference in the end between nature's architecture and my twisted mess. SO far, so good, but I'm a little worried about the Ph. Again, my solution is good (around 6- 6.3), but my medium still comes in at 7 even. Great buffering shit, but I really need to acidify the soil a bit more. I've got some PhDown, but I'm worried that if I drop the solution too low I'll burn the plants. On the other hand, it doesn't seem to have much of an effect so far at 6.... 7/31 Update: Gave the ladies another round of bat guano, 2 lbs. spread hroughout a dozen plants. Kinda worried that I used too much, but the first applications weren't enough so we'll see. Yesterday gave 'em a feeding of Tiger Bloom, today I watered the guano in with well water that I adjusted (using PhDown) to a reasonable 6.5. A good dry day, bright too, they should soak it up good today!

July 30, - Last week of Veg from the look of the plant, its heading into flower - plant has had its 1st meal w/ Veg nutes reduced, 2nd meal w/ Bloom nutes introduced. - Next meal posted above. 31st, - branch-bending and some fresh compost on the plant base. (= tv dinner for a couple weeks) Aug 1 - started the day with some LST and the top of this plant is now pretty darn wide and level. Yesterdays bending was well timed. After only 2 LST sessions on the Canopy, its a different more receptive plant heading into Flower - last transition meal fed; 3 gallons. Next meal, its bloom nutes from here on out Aug 2nd - when gentle-bending becomes kinky… the plant looked great after the LST. This morning I saw a great opportunity and it involved More aggressive tactics and saw some more aggressive kinking & super-cropping. - plant had a nice “South-facing” slope. Aug 3 - woke up to a beautiful plant, with a legitimate level canopy. Bring on the Blossoms, Jack is down to 38” again Got rid of the last Sucker in the grow. No touch now lol, what you see is what you get Aug 4 - next meal posted above… - clipped the lower suckers on ea Cola branch to help keep the business on the end

Fed nutes and hit em with some microbial as well. Watering every other day. Gave the lower fan leaves a trim on a few of them just to see how it effects the top. All in all a good week.

Thc bomb is coming towards the end soon. Trichromes are starting to turn, but still early. The bud is still putting on weight so likely will feed this week and reassess thru the week. Experiencing a few minor sign from giving a low dose of nitrogen. That is ok the plant has a lot of stored energy. Plus it is close to done. Day1: Father and child both doing well after a successful and happy birth. Day 2: The stem stretched a bit further than I would have liked so I’ve added another layer of soil to build up around the stem and I’ve moved the light a bit closer. Looks good now. Day 3: Continued to use the Force to make the seedling grow. It’s looking happy and healthy. It’s tedious work just standing there 18hrs a day. Day 4: Another good day of growing. I had R2 telling me dirty jokes to keep me distracted from the monotony of the task. Put some water around the stem just to dampen it down a bit. Day 5: Nothing to report. It’s already starting to feel like I’ve been here for a light year but Mr.Nelson said he’ll be bringing round some bud soon so that should help with the boredom. He said it’s important that I learn for myself by actually trying it, the difference between Indica and Sativa.
