Hello hello again! Starting Week 9 with again some flashlight nighttime shots because i fell in love with that. Growwise, theres nothing much to report. I keep everything more or less the same. Watering 2,5L after 5 Days, usually i had a pretty good 4 day rhythm going but last time they had a tad too much runoff so i decided to let her dry out for a day more. they liked that, back to the usual thirstiness. Nutes changed a bit (grow up from 2 to 2.5, bloom up from 3 to 3.2) but thats just because i did an oopsie. PH stays 6.5 in, 6.2 out. Trichomes i will check later. Pistils are still to white and they dont look ready yet, but its fun taking closeup pictures, so there you go. Other than that, ill skip my usual ramblings about how i love these, you all know that by now :) *Added Trichomes, daytime shots and timelapse at the end of week 9, until next week, happy growing! :

10/20: I foliar fed her today with some SP-90 humic/fulvic acid and kelp me kelp you. She will probably get fed again tomorrow. Drying out quickly- 10/21: I applied Axiom again today..I sprayed her with the finest mist I could produce..tops and bottoms of all leaves to the point of runoff. I fed her about a 1/4 gallon with nutes. I put another big fan in the closet and turned off the evap cooler for the night so she'd dry out better. 10/22: I used a stainless steel skewer to poke a bunch of little holes in the lower part of her fabric pot to try and improve oxygen availability to her roots. I also carefully arranged the garden so that there are gaps between all the pots. I think I'll also space my waterings a little further apart. The topsoil is drying out well enough, but I don't want her roots sitting in muck. 10/23: She's flowering now, and starting to stretch a little bit. After observing signs of nitrogen toxicity yesterday, I realized that I made another rookie mistake...(where is my head??) The new 5 gallon bucket I'm using to mix a batch of nutes must be about 2 inches shorter than the one I had been using, and I never bothered to calibrate it....which I did today. So, for the past couple of feedings, I've been mixing in enough nutes for 5 gallons, but in only 4 gallons of water!!! I foliar fed with BoomBoom Spray and gave her about 8oz of boomerang and cal-mag early in the morning, and by 5pm she looked happier. Compared to the hybrid seedlings in the space, she's got very narrow, sativa-looking leaves..should be a treat!๐Ÿ˜‹ I raised the lights about 2 inches today and dialed the ac infinity's high temp trigger up to 88f for a bit to get her to dry out a little faster, so the RH climbed a little higher as well...so I also set the ac infinity's high humidity trigger threshold to 65%. 10/24: I fed her another little dose of boomerang and cal-mag, along with some bembe and open sesame. 10/25: I fed her about 1/4 gallon with everything except Grow Big. I'll flush her on Sunday or Monday with Sledgehammer and only foliar feed with fulvic acid and boom boom spray until mid-week. Then I'll give her a good douching with humic acid, myco, tricho and beneficial bacteria and bembe(molasses and beet sugars/rock phosphate/trace elements) to keep the microbes thriving. I'll go heavy with P and K later in the week. 10/26: Last day of week 4 and she's doing great! Her pot is still pretty heavy after her feeding yesterday, so it will probably be Monday before I flush her.

Had a great run with this grow. I learned ALOT about DWC, growing and myself. I think it would have been infinetly more successful if I would have just stuck to the feeding chart, and stopped "fixing things till they broke", but a great learning lesson and I am excited for my next grow.

the 8th flowering week begins with a flush of 20l into a pot of 15l. the plant looks too green for the phase we are, so i needed to do this now. i stopped fertilizing also, but not royal sugar. in the first pic you can see a really smart method to do a flush. the flush brings the EC level from over 2000 to 1100 uS/cm. if there is need i'll repeat it few days before harvesting.

Wow, what a plant. Definitely worth growing this one if you like your zesty, fruity/sweet strains. This is pungent on papaya and also heavy lemon zest a really sweet nose on her. Looks, she is a stunner. Gorgeous colours, well structured and overall 10/10

This Gelat.OG has some long legs on her. She is stretching and opening up to make some nice buds. She was quick to transition and start building some little budlets. I am going to keep an eye on her might supercrop some tops if she keeps stretching the way she is. Will be starting them on some liquid Koolbloom next week. Nutrients per gallon .5 tsp maxibloom .25 tsp maxigro .5 tsp calimagic .25 tsp armor si .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid.

High Level From Eva Seeds 11th week of Veg 30th December 2019 Fark these girls look so good with their thin sativa leaves and overall health. I'm really getting excited about this grow as I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's a very faint light but a light never the less. There is still about six weeks to go until it will start flowering so I'll spend that time making sure both plants get everything they need nutrient wise plus lots of love and care from me. Plant number 2 will need to be transplanted into a larger pot this week as it's getting to that point where the other plant was when I transplanted her. Thankyou all so much for reading my Diary please leave a like if you enjoyed the read and the pics etc. I'll be back next Year in 2020 with another update until then stay lit ๐Ÿ‘

Day 28: I have started into week 4, and im curious when the first sights of flower begin. i decided today to cut down my bags, because the lower branches didnt had enough space, maybe this is even the reason why they are so bushy. lets see how this is working now, i bet it will be much easier to water them now. i also cutted one leaf, because it had sunburn because of waterdrops i didnt recognized. The smell is getting also stronger, but still couldnt figure out which plant smells so nice. it is a very nice and fruity mixture. i also decided to Stop LST through binding and bending. i will just Scrog it soon, that should do the part. Day 30: I hope the Temperatures wont drop anymore. had a night with 10.6 ยฐC. The Pineapple Express and StrawberryGorilla did not liked this a lot. But Blueberry, Northern Light and Weddingcake seem to be stronger against the cold. I watered them a bit today, and will also stop giving to much fertilizers. maybe i will skip one Week of fertiolizers, and start again when bloom is starting. Day 32: i think i was again not patient enough. I will just keep them watered until they start to bloom. Will install a SCROG net in a few Days. My worries: 1. I think my Pineapple Express and the Strawberry Gorilla really didnt liked the cold Days. There were Temperatures about 10 ยฐC in the nights. The PE seems to be stunned a bit. The others are developing gut actually, but i hope to have warmer climate soon. My happies: The Red Mimosa is still developing great. Also the Northern light is growing pretty good, and they dont show any sign of struggle because of the low temperatures. My biggest is 30 cm (Red Mimosa), the smallest is my pineapple Express, its only 20 cm so far, but still growing bigger somehow.

Hey guys :-) The lady has developed very nicely this week ๐Ÿ‘. They were planted in their 8 liter pot where they can now really take root again. Depending on what time is left in the vegi phase, you might be trained :-) . Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked. Well here we are day 78 and she looks like she's got probably three or four weeks left.. I will say this she's starting to give off a smell that smells exactly like real blueberries.. I never thought I would say that but it literally smells like blueberries unbelievable I can't wait for this harvest to come.. I don't know if it's because I'm doing such a small pot grow but she's showing lots of deficiencies of everything I try flushing thinking possibly a nutrient lockout but then again I always feed to run off.. so what I'm going to do is just feed her for the next week week and a half and then just give her water for a couple weeks I feel like she's going to flush very quickly due to the small amount of medium.. hope everyone's having a great day and their plans are thriving .. Happy growing โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž. Day 82 and today I gave her 3 gallons of water to give her a real good flush as I see about 5 to 10% Amber.. I might give her one more 3 gallon flush and a couple days and then chopper after she dries.. hope everyone's doing great and their girls are doing great as well happy growing โœŒ๏ธ

Day 70-77 (Day 71) Not exactly sure why but node spacing on bbb 6&7 is super tight still. Their stems are also harder and less bendy, almost like theyโ€™re root bound. Bbb #5 in my veg tent is looking bizarre and Iโ€™m at a loss for what to do. Iโ€™ve been looking up and asking around about the leaf crinkle and no one seems to know whatโ€™s wrong. Trashing a pheno of this would hurt. It could be a keeper too as I donโ€™t think the problem is genetic. Itโ€™s definitely root bound but that doesnโ€™t cause contorted new growth like that. Iโ€™ve concluded that itโ€™s my dense soil coupled with root bound issues, overwatering and high RH. (Day 72) Later tonight Iโ€™m going to give bbb 5 a bath tub flush until itโ€™s reading 200ppms, drain it well and then transplant into a 3g pot with lightly amended soil. Iโ€™m also going to give it a light defoliation. I donโ€™t mind stressing the shit out of this plant right now because I wonโ€™t be flipping for another week at least. With the small container it will run out of amended nutes mid flower so I will hit it with a few synthetic feedings around then to test out the smokabilty and taste compared to organic nutrients. I might as well give the rest a good defoliation on the rest of the plants too. I will try to get most of what is under the trellis. (Day 73) I definitely defoliated #7 waaay too much. Since itโ€™s tucked away in the corner and a really bushy plant I canโ€™t train it as well as the others. I cut most of the sucker branches and the majority of the lower fans. This should prevent the need to defoliate at all until week 3 of flower. (Day 74) Iโ€™ve been reading that higher temperatures with a high RH can affect growth big time. It could be whatโ€™s causing all the crinkling and twisting. And now that the plants are in very late veg they could probably benefit from a lower RH. When I was running my temps around 74-78F and 70% RH I was in the perfect range. Now that Iโ€™m around 82-86F with the same 70% RH that could be whatโ€™s causing it. Hotter air holds more moisture than cooler air and proper vpd at 84F is around 75-80%. Iโ€™m going to turn up the speed on my carbon filter and set my controller to 75%. If I donโ€™t see a difference or it gets worse I will drop to 65 and go from there. (Day 76) I finally got the lights raised up another 4 inches or so. Itโ€™s not much but it should help reduce the intensity and stretch the nodes more. Iโ€™m starting to think the super tight node spacing and droopy/contorted growth has more to do with something Iโ€™ve been reading about called โ€˜soil compactionโ€™. Apparently farmers often deal with compacted soil in fields from running tractors over it all day. When I potted the plants I gave them a good little jiggle to compact the soil down further so I could fit a bit more in the container. I think this could be the culprit as they donโ€™t seem to be drying out evenly. Even the plants in my other room are not drying out like they should and itโ€™s probably from compacting too. With the addition of rock dust and dry amendments the soil can become sandy/clay like and retain a lot more moisture. Wish I would have added a few more liters of perlite and packed the soil a bit looser. Either way I need to get this problem sorted ASAP before I get root rot. Earlier in the season when I overwatered, I stuck a fish tank air pump into the soil and it aerated the soil enough to prevent overwatering. The only reason I discontinued it is because it didnโ€™t have much effect in the 1.7g pots. I just ordered a 36w 6 way fish tank pump that is way more powerful. It was 50 bucks and Iโ€™m willing to take a gamble on it. It seems to be my only option at the moment because I canโ€™t just repot. Worst case scenario I can use it for brewing compost teas if it doesnโ€™t work. Iโ€™m not sure how well this will work in a giant fabric pot but itโ€™s worth a shot. Iโ€™ve heard of people supplementing additional air into raised garden beds with great results. Iโ€™m picking off some of the new auxiliary branches to try and widen the node spacing. Growth is definitely slow and stunted but no signs of deficiencies. I just thought of another theory on the node spacing... and the more I think about it, the more I think itโ€™s the mystery problem. Iโ€™ve been foliar spraying with 1-1-1 VeloKelp at pretty high concentrations 2-3 times per week. I have heard in passing that kelp and seaweed can somehow reduce stretch. A quick google search reveals that Ascophyllum Nodosum Seaweed and other marine algae extracts contain large amounts of hormones and auxins that reduce plant height and stretch. *facepalm* Guess Iโ€™ll stop that for the rest of the cycle. As far as I know there is nothing I can really do but wait for the plant to use up all those excess hormones and nutes. The recent 0-0-15 seaweed extract and 1-0-3 kelp meal I bought is derived from the same kind as the velokelp. I guess I wonโ€™t use it again until week 3 or 4 in flower. Tight nodes are very useful in flower but arenโ€™t desirable at all in when trying to scrog in veg. Especially when theyโ€™re like a half inch apart. It slows the shit out of a grow. Vietnamese and biker gangs in my area used to grow SOG style and use a synthetic PGR hormone (meant for bonsai trees) called โ€˜paclobutrazolโ€™ that would make the weed rock hard dense so they wouldnโ€™t have to pay people as much to trim it. Iโ€™ve heard that in recent years they have made the switch to using kelp extracts because paclo is getting harder find and is not meant for food crops let alone smokeable crops. Iโ€™m ashamed of it but I have smoked pounds of PGR weed long before I knew what a PGR was. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ (Day 77) One more theory. Ever since raising up the plants up onto that shelf the root zone is probably significantly warmer and the bottom of the pot (where most of the roots are) drys out way quicker. Itโ€™s possible that the warmer root zone could not be holding dissolved oxygen at the proper rate resulting in that over/underwatered look. Or it could be that Iโ€™m not watering enough at once to reach the bottom of the pot where the roots are and itโ€™s indeed under watered. Iโ€™m going to water in a gallon when I get my new air pump and see if that makes any positive change. If I see the new air pump making a difference, I will flip on the 21st of April. If I donโ€™t see a difference, I will carefully untangle the plants from the scrog net and remove the shelf. That extra foot should make a massive difference with ppfd and will cool down the roots significantly too. Iโ€™m thinking about grabbing a simple soil/compost thermometer to check the temp of the medium. Better safe than sorry. Rough week. Hopefully everything get smoothed out in the next little while before I flip.

* Starting this week with a final ๐Ÿƒ defoliation, the plants responded really great after every training (LST, defoliation, lollipoping), eating and drinking like real champs ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿง—โ€โ™‚๏ธ. * Humidifier ๐ŸŒช๏ธ makes a real difference, through low humidity (40%-50%) we achieved better VPD -> more transpiration -> faster growth, the plants enjoying it. * Gemma's crystalize NPK for bloom, collaborates with the others boosters with no problem (reccomend separate mixtures when feeding). โ„น๏ธ You can see the response on the plants after one day --> updated photos โ„น๏ธ Later this week : The plants eating like beasts, watering almost every day, Buds progressing smoothly, Smells too and the canopy is pretty good in this (0.80m ร—0.80m ร—1.60m tent size) we are impressed with transpiration rate, game changer the humidifier present.

Not a lot to update the seedlings have came up out the soil at this point they are still to small to tell any visible differences. I started all the seeds from all 10 packs and and I put 26 of them in soil I now have about 20 of them left I still have atleast one left if every strain. I just kept the 20 plants that all started off at the same time itโ€™s so much easier when there is not some plants behind from the rip. In a few days I will pick out the best one from each of the 10 strains and toss the rest so sad there is a plant count here.
