Hey everyone! Here's the Week 6 update! 😀 and I had some issues! Nothing too serious but still worth mentioning! I had some kind of algae growing in my medium so I stopped watering the plants for a while (I used to feed them twice a week) and I just did it once this week to wait for the plants to use more of the water inside their pots and I think it did work! I also removed most of the soil on the top to avoid spreading anything dangerous to my plants! 😭 Besides that I started doing a more aggressive LST and I also pruned some of the bigger sugar leafs 😲 My plants were also somewhat overfed (or I was close to nutrient locking them) as some of their leafs were quite dark (you'll be able to notice the difference from the color of the new leafs vs the old ones) so for the next schedules I'll just feed them once per week or feed them once then go only with pH'd water and then go back to fertilizers to avoid damaging the plant! 💀 On another note, the smallest plant has grown quite well so next week I'll be swapping her to a new por! I think she deserves it! The 3rd plant now has a name and it's "Boomer"! 😍 I also decided to go for 4 colas instead of 8 because the size available in my tent is small and I don't want risking my plants fighting for light in such a small space! 😢 Anyway, thanks everyone for reading everything so far! Woche 5 – Die Form nimmt Gestalt an 🍑🌿 Nach einer aufregenden Woche und meinem Besuch auf der Mary Jane in Berlin geht es nun wieder zurück in den Garten. Die Apricot Automatic entwickelt sich weiterhin hervorragend und zeigt genau die Eigenschaften, die ich mir von einer starken Outdoor-Autoflower wünsche. Das Low Stress Training zahlt sich mittlerweile deutlich aus. Die Seitentriebe wachsen kräftig nach oben und verwandeln die ursprünglich schlanke Pflanze langsam in eine breite, gleichmäßige Struktur. Das Kronendach wird von Tag zu Tag voller und die zukünftigen Budsites verteilen sich optimal über die gesamte Pflanze. Besonders erfreulich ist die schnelle Erholung nach dem Training. Es gibt keinerlei Anzeichen von Stress und die Damen wachsen munter weiter. Die Blattfarbe ist gesund, das neue Wachstum wirkt kräftig und die Internodienabstände bleiben angenehm kompakt. Mit jedem Tag wird deutlicher, welches Potenzial in diesen Apricot Autos steckt. Jetzt beginnt die spannende Phase, in der sich entscheidet, wie groß die Pflanzen vor dem Einsetzen der Vorblüte noch werden. The Apricot Automatic continues to impress and is showing exactly the characteristics I hope for in a strong outdoor autoflower. The Low Stress Training is now paying off. Side branches are growing vigorously and transforming the plants from a simple main stem into a wide and balanced structure. The canopy is becoming fuller every day, allowing future bud sites to receive excellent light exposure. What makes me especially happy is how quickly the plants recovered from the training. There are absolutely no signs of stress, and the ladies keep pushing forward with healthy growth. Leaf color remains vibrant, new growth is strong, and internodal spacing stays nicely compact. With every passing day, the potential of these Apricot Autos becomes more obvious. Now we are entering the exciting stage where the plants will determine how much more growth they can achieve before fully transitioning into flowering. Welcome to my Slurircane Diary sponsored by MSNL. SD 8-9 She's growing as a seedling should. Gonna keep her in the 1.7L pot for a few more days and then I'll uppot to her final veg pot 11L. And then into an 18L for the whole flowering phase. VD1 10th Day. She's on her way, healthy and into veg with no issues, as of yet, as there rarely is with seedlings. Veg Day 1-3 Was going so well. Then, my veg tent, out of 7 of them. I gave 6 (ages from 7wks to 6 days) Mystical Green From Terra Power and look at the damage it cost me in my video. Bad Enzyme Reaction. Nothing I can do but ride it out. All Terra Power products have been Ditched and replaced with Plagron. Its not that, they're bad. I just don't have any of their base nutrients. And I've the full Agla Grow, bloom & other Plagron Products I'll be using for this grow. I've flushed the plant. Added Silic Rock, Power Roots, Alga Grow and sprayed the Leafs With Vita Race "once a wk for VR, and every water for the rest as is suggested. I'm using their pro mix, it's specifically goes best with the Alga Products. If you're using their light mix, I suggest their Terra range. I've also taken Plagron Zyme from the Terra Grow list, as it's an Enzyne for the whole process. And also I added Silic Rock for issues like The Mystical Green Caused, my entire crop, even the baby, so, I know 100% it was MG, and it's meant to be able to be given for the entire grow. I've had it for over a yr. But, she shelf life should of been well in date. Very disappointed. I flushed the 2 1.7L pots. And restarted them on Plagron power Zyme/Roots, Alga Grow & Terpinator "The OG" Diet: Been keeping it on the light side a 3:1:3 ratio. Grow, Bloom, Micro 630-670ppm 5.8-6.1ph. Artios Touch was given. I'm thinking of putting her on a Full Plagron Alga Diet with their light mix..also I'll be getting Terpinator. Something I badly need to improve the taste/terpine profile. I'll also be using Green Sensation/ pure Zyme/ root stim/ Terra Grow&bloom. And mega worm humus. Edited Day 12. Sadly Mystical Green, has caused a nasty reaction in all my girls, I know looks like a def, "it's not, it's in all the girls I gave MG to, even my 6 day old seedling and my girl that just entered Veg Day 3 Day 12, in the video was affected. Everything that got a dose of it did. Except the Frosted Guava, she was given another Enzyme, and was just gonna add it today, so glad I held off. So annoyed. Only the next days will tell if Plagron can save my crop. Decided to start pushing Terpinator, as she's not getting any worse, crisis averted. Vita Race "must be used as foliar spray once a wk" was applied and will be until 3rd week of Flowering. Lights P/SF 1000(s) are been used. For flowering I'll be using an FC4800 "hopefully" along with the IR/UV 45.

I cut a girl this week, it was my first more normal haircut:) maybe I overdid it a bit, but she continues to grow and I'm happy about that :) today she will get food 2x in a row :)

On cruise control now, done some defoliation here and there but that's it, feeding every 2-3 days and they are swelling up very nicely. 🌱 VEGETATIVE (4 weeks) The Runtz seed, placed in a root-riot cube within a DWC net pot, successfully sprouted by day 4, under an 18/6 light cycle (50W at 50cm). The first week saw the seedling establish itself, with roots extending into the DWC reservoir. During the second week, despite slightly low humidity and temperature, the seedling demonstrated robust and rapid growth. Light intensity was increased to 75W. Towards the end of this week, I removed the first set of true leaves as they were growing too close to the substrate. The third week marked a noticeable increase in the plant's water uptake (1 LT/day), which prompted me to raise the nutrient solution's EC to 1.0. The plant showed significant development while maintaining a compact stature – a trait I appreciated. In the fourth and final week of vegetation, as odors began to emerge, I installed a carbon filter, raised the EC to 1.2, keep the pH in the right range and boosted the light intensity further to 150W. By the end of this phase, the plant was bushy, compact (21 cm height), and healthy. 🌸 FLOWERING (8 weeks) For the first week I switched the light cycle to 12/12 and introduced a new nutrient solution adding Power Buds to the mix. During the second week I was impressed to see preflowers clearly visible as early as day 10 of flowering. So, during the third week I made a substantial defoliation session to manage the plant's increasing bushiness, which I knew would be crucial for later-stage light penetration and humidity control. In the fourth week I introduced a PK 8/9 booster, Green Sensation, thereby increasing the phosphorus and potassium concentration in the solution, water consumption around 3 LT/day. Towards the end of the week, I performed another significant defoliation, including the removal of lower, light-starved branches, to which the plant responded well. During the fifth week the stretching phase concluded, with the plant reaching its final height of 69cm. Its focus shifted to bud development, and the foliage began to adopt a darker hue. At this point, my role was primarily to maintain stable environmental parameters and a correct pH in reservoir. During the sixth week buds were visibly swelling daily, the plant remained in excellent health, and resin production became more pronounced. For the seventh week I implemented a change in feeding, completely cutting the nitrogen from the DWC solution, using only Green Sensation at a higher concentration. In the eighth and final week of flowering (week 12 overall), I performed a complete DWC reservoir change. I filled it with plain tap water and maintained this for 4 days leading up to harvest. On day 56 of flowering (84 from seed), the Runtz plant appeared perfectly ready. The buds were dense and glistening, pistils mostly browned and retracted, and trichomes displayed a good mix of milky and some amber. Immediately after harvesting her, I removed the fan leaves, deciding to dry these as well due to their remarkable resin content. ✅ DRYING The entire plant was hung to dry inside the grow box, which was kept completely dark with constant, gentle air circulation for 8 days. The average VPD during this period was maintained around 1.2 (approximately 20°C and 50% RH). Once this drying period was complete, I trimmed off all the sugar leaves. These resinous sugar leaves will be combined with the already dried fan leaves and larf buds, and I plan to use them to make cannabutter for edibles. ⚖️ Dry weight After the 8-day drying period, and once all the remaining small leaves and branches were removed from the buds, I weighed the final product: The harvest yielded: - 150 grams of dense buds and 5 grams of finger hash. For edibles: - 30 grams of larf and a large amount of fan and sugar leaves. ✅ CURING For the curing process, the dried buds were placed in a large, airtight glass jar. This jar was stored in a dark location within a room maintaining a stable temperature of around 20°C for a total of 45 days. The burping schedule was as follows: Day 1-7: twice daily for 10 min. Day 8-10: once daily for 10 min. Day 11-14: every other day for 10 min. Day 15-21: every 3 days for 10 min. Day 22-30: every 4 days for 10 min. Day 31-45: No burping. 📑 SMOKE REVIEW - At 15 days cured a vegetal note is still quite present and the smoke is a bit harsh, typical for a short cure. The effects are already pleasant and potent, very promising. - After 30 days of curing, the Runtz has improved considerably. The vegetal smell has mostly faded, giving way to a much more defined sweet and fruity fragrance reminiscent of candy and berries. The smoke is noticeably smooth, euphoric effects are dominant. - At 45 days, Runtz has expressed its full potential and is now perfectly cured for daily enjoyment. The aroma is intense and complex, an explosive mix of sweet candy and tropical notes. The effects are potent, starting with an uplifting cerebral euphoria that evolves into a pleasant body relaxation, without leading to couch-lock. 🍕 I also made cannabutter which I used to finish a risotto. The result was insane – both the risotto itself and the potency of the cannabutter were exceptional!

Moin, Die 4. Blütewoche ist ab heute offiziell vorbei. Die Blütenbildung ist im vollen Gange und die kleinen aber sehr kompakten Buds stacken sich langsam aber sicher immer mehr. Die Terpenen gehen klar in Richtung pures Candy, gefühlt ändert sich da trotzdem jeden Tag die Nuancen im Terpenprofil. Nach dem Lolipopping bleibt die Struktur weiter offen, viele neue Blätter wurden nicht gebildet wodurch eine weitere entlaubung in den kommenden Wochen eher unwahrscheinlich ist. Vorallem will ich die Pflanze auch nicht weiter stressen, da sie wohl zum Zwittern neigen und generell schwer zu kultivieren sein soll. Bisher kann ich das nicht bestätigen, kein einziger Mangel, keine Anzeichen von größeren Stress und auch sonst läuft es wirklich gut. Trotzdem sehe ich genug Gründe warum der Ertrag am Ende vermutlich nicht allzu viel sein wird. Eine offene Struktur, kleine Blätter, dünne Stämme etc. Für die großen Erträge grow ich diesen Strain und generell auch nicht, Terps überalles! Hey, As of today, the fourth week of flowering is officially over. Flowering is in full swing, and the small but very compact buds are slowly but surely piling up more and more. The terpenes are clearly leaning toward pure candy, though it feels like the nuances in the terpene profile are still changing every day. After lollipopping, the structure remains open; not many new leaves have formed, making further defoliation in the coming weeks rather unlikely. Above all, I don’t want to stress the plant any further, as it’s said to be prone to feminization and generally difficult to cultivate. So far, I can’t confirm that, not a single deficiency, no signs of major stress, and everything else is going really well. Still, I see enough reasons why the yield probably won’t be all that great in the end: an open structure, small leaves, thin stems, etc. I’m not growing this strain or any strain, terpenes are what matter most!

Most important to note from this week: Even a small dose of cal mag to plants 3 and 6 slightly stunted growth. There seems to be a lot of nutrients in this soil which might be why the added cal mag slowed growth and showed very dark leaves (too much nitrogen from the cal mag). I am using RO water so thought that cal mag would help but didn't. PH in correct range along with recharge and silica really calls for no nuts in this soil! Transplanted to 1 gallon pot with Ocean Forest soil on days 16 and 17. Still only using recharge and silica w/ no extra nutrients. I did add 2ml of cal mag to the plant with light spotting which seemed to help slightly by day 20. All ph ranges are right at about 6.5. I found that watering at 6.7 with a low ppm water brings me to a good ph range for this soil. No signs of deficiency so no extra nutrients for now. Average relative humidity slightly lowered to 60%. I'm paying attention to light distance and power closely to keep ppfm in 300-400 range. 2 plants did not make it. I believe due to overwatering. 5 white widows left I performed LST on Day 21. Plants are short and bushy so I felt no need to top. LST combined with scrog is the plan.

Five plants were showing deficiencies last weekend, but had just watered so I waited until Wednesday to feed 2 tsp/gal Grow Big.

Was a real pleasure from beginning to end, no problem during all the cycle for a good result for weight but an AMAZING result for taste 😍

The plants are showing different levels of development and stress this week. The weather has been quite unpredictable lately. We've had daytime temperatures around 28°C, while some nights dropped as low as 8°C. On top of that, we've had temporary dry periods, strong winds and heavy rain showers. Basically, just business as usual in Northern Germany. 😂🌦️💨 Despite all of this, the ladies are pushing forward. 🌸 APPALACHIAN KUSH One of the Appalachian Kush plants was the first to start flowering, and she's continuing to push ahead. You can clearly see the buds getting larger and spreading further across the plant. 🌸 Her sister is also showing clear signs of flower production, although she is not nearly as far along yet. Interestingly, she's already showing an obvious reaction to the cold nights, with some of her leaves starting to turn purple. 💜🌿 🌱 GREEN POISON Green Poison has surprisingly caught up quite a bit, both in height and in flower development. She's also developed a beautiful, strong green colour, which is great to see. 💚🌱 🌿 GOLOSA Our little mutant Golosa has developed into exactly the kind of bushy plant we expected. 😂🌱 She's becoming a very interesting plant, and I'm really curious to see how she continues to develop over the coming weeks. I'm especially interested to see how she forms her flowers and what the final result will look like with her two naturally separating main branches. Definitely one to keep an eye on. 👀🌿 🖤 SIRIUS BLACK Sirius Black has developed a good structure and is also looking strong in terms of height. She's starting to form flowers as well. Unfortunately her overall colour still looks a little weaker compared to the other ladies. We may need to intervene again over the next few weeks if she doesn't catch up. 🌱👀 🌿 THIS WEEK'S FEEDING This week, all plants received a top dressing of 15 g Silicium Flash. In addition, they received a solution containing 1 g of Bactrex and 10 ml of Orgatrex. Now we'll give them some time and see how they respond to it. 🌱 We're hoping for some good weather and, even more importantly, strong resilience from the ladies over the next few weeks so they can handle whatever Northern Germany decides to throw at them. 😂🌦️💨 We're excited to see how everything develops from here and will keep a close eye on how the plants react.
