Harvest day 73 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. June 13th - Day 22; fed 1L yesterday 16th - fed a full meal; 1L - extended another section of LST. It can now grow as it wants 17th - taking some urgent action because of an ailment that had fallen on Californian Snow, that now seems to be affecting Zamaldelica. After being fed yesterday, Cali Snow had all of her Fan Leaves wilt and dissolve sort of, within 4 hours. She was flushed and it seems a Low pH was the final element to clear from the run-off. This morning Zamaldelica fan leaves are sporting Orange Spots. I’m throwing 6 gallons of pH’d water (6.5) through the substrate right now thanks… ! - looking to put some of the blame on me, for allowing these plastic pots, with limited holes, to be the final resting place for these gems… should have AT LEAST been into Fabric or Smart Pots DoH. When I picked them up yesterday, that container was physically Hot. Not dry, but man the soil portion was warm. - glad I flushed, did not see this one coming. Sure, it was a Heat Warning, weather system, but things did not dry-out. - also moving Zamaldelica into a 5 gal fabric pot. Last soil in the house, kinda worked perfectly. Sorry Californian Snow, maybe too far gone. Something became acidic in the substrate after the volume of that meal, reached the lower levels, and an accumulation of Nutes/additives. It reacted - I knocked off any loose soil from the original Pot/rootball and put 60% of the plants core into a DynoMyco laced 6gal bag. - caption for the video; been one of those days…

Last week went well. She is beefing up nicely. Very happy I have a clone from this beauty! Seems to be a good producer judging by the size and structure of the plant/buds. Also is a good producer of resin, but I expect that from a plant with its parentage! Only thing besides a nice potent indica buzz that I would like but is purely cosmetic...I want it to have some purple coloring of some kind. But will be happy with potent! Going to be some good strains coming in the near future. This girl is smooth sailing for the most part from here on out. Doubt I will have to remove many more leaves and she is done stretching so no more adjusting ties. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

grow room adjustments this week. plants are now more spread out under a total of 5 600w HPS lights. 3 fastbuds plants have an additional 45w LED light. by week 3/4 they will occupy my whole grow space and an additional 3 600w HPS lights will be added. Plants are looking healthy and 10 or so have been topped for the first time on day 8. dinafem cookies are looking very good in structure. will upload pics every day until harvest! thanks for looking. UPDATE day 12 veg, they are looking beautiful better than i expected. there are 36 in 15litre pots now and i cant wait to make my final grow room upgrage next week and for my room to be looking like a forest! im hoping for 2-3kg off these girls and only time will tell. i will keep doing daily updates until harvest

Close to the finish line..

Was a good second week, had some heat issues in the beginning, but once I rerouted my flowering tents air conditioner exhaust outside instead of the room this tent was in she cooled down. I was heating my basement with the exhaust from one of my air conditioners and my light exhaust as well. Snows coming soon so I’m trying to recycle some heat instead of dumping it outside, I will move them back in probably when we hit the -20c to -40c weather in a month or so....Lol Topped her yesterday at day 15 at the 4th node. She didn’t even flinch! Roots are well established now and growing daily. Still got 2-3 weeks or so till they can hit the flowering tent so I will be making some more insulated top covers with anchor wires attached to begin LST once these new tops come up in a week or so. Loving this UC Roots stuff, keeping my shit pristine in all the buckets across all my tents. Even my RDWC systems are sparking clean still well into flowering, can’t really see my roots to much anymore to check them though because they are screened and Scrog’d out. But if the res and water is sparkling I’m hoping the rest is...lol well that’s it for this week! Cheers! 💨

she has 79 days since her germination ... with patience to see her potential ... she is growing well taking a little smell ... and her shoots growing very well ... although I am struggling with bortritys....because I had some tomatoes ... I removed them from my plants .... from this week I start to feed them with red guano for their flowering as well as I will continue with earthworm humus every 10 or 14 days ...

Gave both ladies a topping. Will be pinning down the bottom leaves in a couple of days. Will be doing a whole lot of topping for these girls. Things are really heating up so should pick up the pace here

Welcome to week 5 of flower! Things are moving along and where gaining mass on the flowers daily! With some of the plants starting to fade into a nice purple in their leaves I can only imagine at the end in 4-5 weeks! With every passing day I get more and more excited by the characteristics on the plants! Huge shout outs to @MarsHydroLED for making outstanding gear for growers to use and enjoy! Cleaned up the bottoms of the plants abit more as well as took away some leaves blocking light to flower sites. Recap: Things went well this week the ladies are pumping trichomes and weight won't be long till we see some real thick flowers. Over all really pleased with this run so far!

Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.
