So, with these interesting times and what is becoming a fast evolving global catastrophe. I, myself, along with the rest of you ( I hope ) can take some solace in looking after our gardens, to have some peace away from the news, to give our ladies the best care we are able to provide 🌱 If you ever needed any vindication or validation as to why growing your own is best. More than half the world currently in lockdown, and with MJ in short supply, our actions speak for themselves! Anyway, back to this diary. I done a lot of work on the room, invested a lot and tried to make everything as automated as possible. Everything runs on smart plugs, the hydroponic system is DIY and is RDWC which is cooled with a Hailea 150a. 6 plants is what I am going for this time, with a shorter veg length compared to the last grow. I prefer to wait until they show their sex, but if they don’t by week 5, I plan on flipping anyway all being well. I am using 730nm LED’s that come on 15 mins before lights on, turn off during lights on, and then they come back on when lights go out, and stay on for 15 mins. This should enable me to run 13/11 during flower with little risk. I am also going to add a UVB fixture to my custom rig which will only be used during the final 2 weeks of flower. I have 3 Alibaba lights attached to a custom rig, they really are awesome lights. I tested the room out with an Apogee SQ-520 par meter (PAR map in pics). I have dimmed them down, so PAR is around 500 across the whole canopy, this will be increased to 1000 once they’re flipped. I vent from my house, to the room and then outside, this increases the CO2 in the room, which I think helped the yields on the last grow, generally CO2 hovers between 470 and 700 PPM. My ladies look a little sick, but tbh, I struggle starting out in Rockwool, and things usually correct themselves within a couple weeks. With the quarantine I have struggled to pick up a humidifier that is capable of maintaining that room, so it has been all over the place since the start. I have opted to go with Royal Gorilla this cycle, let’s see if it’s as potent as RQS says that it is! Good luck all and take care...

Grapewalker kush are booming the one that sprouted already topped I decided to go with main lined kind of training it's gone to a lovely shape , may even put in the scrog who knows The gold glue all I'm gonna say is the topping went down a treat , it has formed really thick stems and branches and seems to be quite tall hopefully this and training will unleash the beast

Day 85 - Starting week 13 and nothing major going on, just waiting for her to finish up. She’s got another day or two before she needs water and she’ll get just plain water till harvest. Still very little amber in her right now but hopefully she’ll get a bunch more in the next week then she’ll get the axe. Day 89 - She’s just about finished, all the leaves are yellowed and pretty shriveled up but hoping she’ll last a few more days. There’s still not a whole lot of amber trichs in there so after some plain water today, I’m hoping she’ll push out to the finish, she is starting to foxtail quite a bit as well.

4/20/25 my cover crop is coming in nicely. first time trying a cover crop. the plant is spreading out nicely and evenly and looking very nicely. Not much growth recently but she looks happy. 4/23/25 everything is coming along nicely. I want to thank my buddy @Vlugge_japie for helping me cut, without him i wouldnt able to trim her in 6 hours. I also want to thank you my followers for your kind words and encouragement to make her a monster. Without your messages a grow is just a grow, but through growdiaries and each other's diaries we want to challenge ourselves every grow Lots of love to you my new friends. Who am i ? until last november i have always grown hydro for a little over 11 years. But growing started to look more and more like work because i was more busy with programming my controllers for the ph / humidity / lights / soil moisture / temperature. Also the realization that i have 2 children and my own house made me nervous for the authorities because where i live growing is not allowed. So i decided to grow smaller where i previously had 200x180x200 space i opted for 70x70x160 with the result that i can only grow 1 strain at a time. The intention is to remain self-sufficient in this way and still be able to exchange or give away something here and there at a party. Although I am sponsored I will not be able to grow every strain because not every strain can deliver the result I need to remain self-sufficient. If you know of an auto strain or photo strain that takes at least 11 to 15 weeks I would like to know so that I can grow it in the future and of course I will try to set a record for that grown strain. Because during the 4 grows that I can do per year I can only try to achieve a record since I cannot show you multiple strains at once. Time to give this a go! --- Going to give each EarthBox a full 2 gallons of distilled water. --- Going to also add some probiotics and beneficial anaerobic microbes. --- Don't frack this up Ensign. --- Okay!
