I think the stretch is nearly done, they could have filled out a little better but overall I’m pretty pleased, this is the fewest I’ve run in here and to have it this even and filled out im pleased. If low temps stunt growth we will find out soon, these had a brief stint in the mid 70’s toward the end of veg but they’ve been experiencing sub 50 degree nights for basically the whole run. Anyways, flowers are coming in, probably towards the end of next month, but who knows, they’re never simple. Thanks for checking this out!

6/16 Fed today. Left out the microbe and kangaroots due to time. I'm adding the kelp me kelp you as well but it was a rush this morning. Didn't get spinosid applied last night. I found a spittle bug in it's bubbles and killed the nymph. I noticed random little munch's so that makes me think the spinosid is a good idea. Plants seem very happy. 6/17 Transplanted the rooted cuttings of 9lb kush and NYC Skunk Ape into a gallon of happy frog. From there they'll go in either a five gallon bucket, 10 gallon bag or right in the bag. Considering how late it is I think the two ten gallon grow bags would be perfect. The two Black Widow/GSC seeds kinda dried out but got transplanted to two red solo cups of happy frog. It will be interesting to see which strains do well in this harsh climate. Didn't get the spinosid sprayed and I'm unsure of I will tonight. Looks like rain. I'd rather apply when sky is clear. I love being able to do this. Every morning I start my day off right. Great boost to mental health! Internet is fucking up so I'm having difficulty loading pictures. Rrrrr 6/20 Took a bunch of pictures but forgot to add them and my internet connection is to slow to upload right now. I haven't had to water this crop only a couple times this year. Temperature shot down to 45 last night. I noticed some more WPM on the interior of some of the GDPs. Also leaf hopper damage and random munches from other bugs. I did some interior defoliation and spot treated with k bicarb and dawn. I'll attempt to upload pictures again. Black widow/GSC has germinated. 6/21 Watered the girls with the hose. Was super pressed for time so I couldn't pH the water. The hose looks like it's about 6.5 but I know it's a little more alkaline. Oh well it's what I've always used. I should've fed but again...crisis. girls look wonderful. I took a bunch of great photos but I used the app to take them and the didn't upload. On the plus side I got some older ones up. I haven't spent nearly the amount of time I usually do on my garden. However I will say the k bicarb has been stellar. Even using it as spot treatment. 6/22 FED 3 gallons today. Kept the same schedule but added a 1/4 tsp microbe brew and a 1/4 tsp kangaroots. Didn't have the kelp with me so I left it out. PM seems to be controlled pretty well. A few interior leaves were defoliated but overall things look great. Especially considering the 35-40 degree temperature swing we've been seeing. I don't really see any insect damage. I'll wait until the temps settle before I do a foliar spray.

I put the clones into bigger Pots once their roots were fully established. Immediately started LST and put in the clones at an angle so that light is distributed more evenly. Autos also growing well but Panty Punch is lacking because of crippled leaves. I still let her live to see how she develops. I plan to bend the clones in a circular shape so they grow into an even canopy.

May4: nice spring day so plants were outside in the afternoon. Some direct sun but also protected in small greenhouse. Light watering with some nutrients. I’m using Monster Maxx this year. I used a free sample of it last year making compost teas and it seemed to work great. Early to use any nutes but I think it is okay. This stuff has regular N fertilizer (nitrate, urea, and ammonia) but also two bacteria strains that have been shown to work. I was looking at last year’s roots today and they are the densest and most intricate I’ve seen, so I think this stuff works as advertised. Will still use compost teas later this season but for now this should do fine. Prepped most of the soil. Cannabis gets the Grade A+ soil, and tomatoes and peppers get last years cannabis soil and some fresh compost. May 9: weather is great so decided to transplant into the final container. Culled second seedling that was slower and had asymmetrical leaves. May 10: still misting leaves to provide moisture. So far so good.

16.02 First day of the fourth week of flower. Defoliated a little bit again. This time around I’m picking smaller amounts of leaves every day in comparison to one major defoliation on one day. Also I ve added pk booster at 100 ppm.( 0.2 ec) will gradually raise it over the next weeks. Lowering the base nutrients. I think they finally stopped the stretch and they are barely fitting in the tent. I ve added some swirski ulti mite . Predatory mites as prophylactic measure for thrips. I’ve noticed some tiny damage on a couple of leaves. And a couple of larvae.

Segunda semana desde el cambio de horario a 12/12h, la planta ha continuado estirándose, esta semana otros 10cm, pero no hay problema, porque ninguna planta va a pasar de los 70cm de altura que era mi objetivo inicial. La planta está con el metabolismo disparado, consume mucha agua de riego y los brotes florales comienzan a tomar protagonismo, las fuertes ramas están preparadas para soportar cogollos monstruosos, yo también! Por en cuanto estoy esperando pacientemente que todos los cultivos paren el estiramiento, creo que será en estos días, para hacer un importante cambio de luces y comenzar con mi arsenal de Bio Fertilizantes específicos para floración. Yo cultivo con luces intensas con temperaturas de color apropiadas en cada etapa, para provocar mayor fotosíntesis y favorecer al tiempo la compactación de la planta en crecimiento vegetativo y para producir cogollos muy grandes y densos en floración, a la vez, la mayor captación de energía provoca mayor consumo de agua y nutrientes, y si el sustrato y las raíces han llegado a floración preparadas, el sistema lo completo con control de temperatura/humedad y máxima aireación en la carpa de cultivo, lo cierto es que esta parte no me da problemas, pues mantengo la carpa muy aireada y fresca sin sobrepasar los 26°C en los ápices, la humedad en mi casa no es problema. Yo no le tengo miedo a la intensidad de luz y sólo soy precavido con la temperatura/humedad por la circunstancia de cultivar en interior y macetas, porque he vivido en diferentes lugares sub tropicales, he visto también cultivos de marihuana en África y he comprobado la intensidad de la luz solar, las luces artificiales son un mero juego comparadas con el sol, y el calor de esas zonas y como se desarrolla el cannabis espectacularmente! Esta temporada todas las plantas se muestran muy saludables y vigorosas, esta vez conseguí alejar mi impaciencia con relación a la cantidad de riego, los experimentos radicales y las altas concentraciones de Bio Nutrientes en la etapa de crecimiento vegetativo, y se nota. A partir de ahora las mezclas de riego cambian mucho, la planta en floración necesita más variedad de nutrientes y minerales que en la etapa de crecimiento vegetativo, donde necesita más cantidad pero de menos variedad de nutrientes y minerales. Con el último riego hice un aporte de una mezcla de enmiendas secas al sustrato, en ese mismo riego incluí melaza para dar energía extra a los Microorganismos y que comiencen a comer este aporte extra de materia orgánica, nutrientes y minerales. Esta temporada estoy limitando el uso de melaza en riegos, hasta ahora la usaba en todos y en cada uno de los riegos, desde el inicio hasta el final de los cultivos. pero esta temporada he usado la melaza sólo en las primeras semanas de cultivo para potenciar la proliferación de la Microbiología en el sustrato y la expansión de las raíces, y desde hace dos semanas dejé de añadir melaza cuando las plantas han tenido un volumen importante, ahora, del aporte de azúcares para dar energía a los MM se encargará la propia planta, no es que haya observado anomalías evidentes por el uso continuado de la melaza, pero no quiero influir en el sabor ni en los aromas originales de las plantas. 10 weeks total time from popping out of the rockwool. Started 12-12 from seed and introduced nutrients week 4. I had a grow tent next to this one housing 4 plants fighting root rot. Towards the back end "Pinky" here was fighting it as well. DWC...I'm Fucking done and unless YOU have a chiller and or don't heat your home, I wouldn't recommend it. Next grow...soil. Total Dry Weight pulled...less than 21 grams. I couldn't believe the shrinkage when it came to hanging and drying. I'm glad that experience is out of the way...NEXT.
