Dream Sherbet Auto (Kannabia)

Welcome to my Kannabia Dream Sherbet Auto Diary. Week 1. Seedling Day 1. After about 24hrs she has put her head above ground. Doing really well, but what seedling doesn't at this stage Seedling Day 2-3 Great growth the last 2 days. Hopefully she'll stay the course. Seedling Day 6 & Veg Day 7 Plant has shifted massively overnight, have to say, these kannabia genetics are solid. This strain is much stronger than her sisters, (they have little to no thc, wondering is this a factor) as both others are showing signs of light heat stress. Seedling Day 4-5 Growth has been slow and steady, but its in the good range, after growing a few plants now, you know if they on good course. What I have noticed, is my leafs are a much lighter green. No flash used. And the growth is good. On the ropes now when to apply nutrients. They really don't need them yet, so I'm going to hold off. Welcome to my Kannabia Dream Sherbet Auto Diary. Week 3, veg Day 15. Plant is doing well. Growth has kinda slowed a tad. Took her 2 big fan leafs to allow light to reach the nodes down below as they were blocked out. Now that I have, its opened up the whole plant, so hopefully she'll open up and take of this week. As I won't be topping, I'm hoping this will slow her from flipping. And go about her growth naturally.. decided to give her a small dose of food with her other sisters 350ppm +110 ambient tap. And she got a light cal+Epsom salt last week also 250ppm +110ppm tap. I don't think I'll be taking anymore leafs until I have to. Need every leaf working to max out on energy. I really didn't wanna remove some growth, will tell in a few days if it made a impact on the nodes. VD15-17 Been a good growth the past few days. Took the 2 sets of bottom nodes and started to put a shape on her. She has no issues at all. No cal/mag, nada,,(touch bud). So, it's been an easy pleasure to grow so far, but that can all change at the drop of a leaf. VD 18-19 Responding well to LST. All sites have turned up and she's starting to put some decent high on her. VD20-21 she's done growing sets of nodes. So she has pushed up 7 sets and then there's the top which has 4bud sites as we all know that makes for that nice big cola. Hopefully she'll start to put on some height now. She stands at 25-26cm. So, to hit 30-35 before she flips would be ideal. Healthy plant, no issues.. seems to have taken the light grow feed well....less really is more. The FC 3000 is a great light, and the FC & FC-E have the new addition of a UV light that reaches a lower end of the spectrum making the RA of the light much closer to the sun spectrum. They have a much better uniformed ppfd than the TS but the TS are also great, and have a higher ppfd in the middle of the light, so I suggest if you are getting 1, move your plants around under the middle as it holds killer high ppfd. So rotate them ladies, you can pretty much do this with all leds though, as the middle is always higher, but it'll help, every 2 days shift them ladies about and rotate the plant so it sits and gets light in areas where it wasn't hitting as hard before, as with the sun, it moves, so you don't need to do this on the outside, In a tent you are trying your best to get a sun affect so why wouldn't you rotate and move em. Welcome to my Dream Sherbert Diary, from Kannabia seed company. Thanks to the rep for sponsoring me this diary and others. VD(s) 22-25 plant has had steady growth. Notice i had fungus gnats. So had to dry the soil out. So, I fed some plants from the drip tray up to keep them alive. They were already due a feed before I put them on a 5 day ban of fluids on the soil. So, I got what looks like water damage to my roots, but its just from that, she vegged out at 33cm. She is healthy and started the flip on Day 26. PreFlower Day 1&2 (days 26&27) plant is all flowering. So, hopefully she'll hit the 50+cm with w nice big cola.. have started her on short flowering powder and I have a high P'-K BOOSTER for later stages all from green house feeding. Done light lollipoppoing & LST'ed her to her final shape, with hopes and ties available to be adjusted if and when needed. Just gotta keep her on a light diet and let's see can I avoid nutrient tip burn with this stuff. I have moved her into the 70x70 as the my other tent just didn't have the room, and now I have the light at 100% at 30cm away. PreFlower Day 4 28th day. Plant is doing well. Decided against doing a stretch and going to let them grow as normal as I can. As these are autos and its only a 100watt light I'm going to bump up the hrs to 22 a day. And I'll lower later to a 16-8 and have the 8hrs off during the coldest part of it's day to bring out the terp factor. Also will be adding a new 50watt very expensive UV A+B light to all my grows in the last few weeks of flowering. Welcome to my Kannabia Dream Sherbet Auto Diary. Week 5, PreFlower Days 4&5 Days 29&30 since sprouting. Plant is taking everything I've given it really well. Haven't touched her in way of LST, removed a few choice leafs, that's about it. In the next few days. After she puts about another 10cm on, I'll train and lock her shape in. I've lollipopped a lot of the lower growth. So, there really isn't much to defoloate. Not that I want to either. As, the grow is going well. And no stalls, defs, or toxs. Good healthy strong growth. And really happy with this strain. Can't think of what it would be like if she had of been topped. Gave her cal/Epsom Salt feed on day 28 going into day 29. And today she was given short flowering/Hybrid Powder from Green House Feeding. Light 650ppm diet, -110ppm ambient tap. Trying to keep it light. After doing some juggling with plants after I flipped 5 of my fems today. So, when my 100cm2 goes into 12hr dark, I swap out the plants after the 6hrs normal rest that I don't want flipped, and put my autos from the 70x70 into the spots were the fems are, and they get a 6hr rest while the fems get back on a 75% 100watt. I know you are probably saying why don't I put my fems who aren't flipped into the 70cm2 but then there's no room, as when the big tent is in dark, it's just easier to do it this way. When I flip my other 3 fems then I'll have to put 5- 6 autos into my 70x70 but hopefully by then, they'll have gotten a decent dose of a 300watt and should make up for a packed tent. I thought I'd get away with 15plants, 1.5m2 not big enough, but I'll make it work. As they are all at different stages, for this very reason. I think I should of made the gaps a little longer though. But then, I'd have issues with high/low RH during veg/flowering. So, doing this now, all within a 3-4 wk flowering period and after all them are past or well into preflower then I'll drop the RH. Gosh, that's confusing, even for me, and I'm running it. Oh, the days of my 150cm2 I miss. 2.2cm2 was so much more, I just thought I'd have the space. As I had room to step in my other tent. PreFlower Day 6 31 days total. Plant is growing well. Super healthy and lovely growth. Real pleasure to deal with this beauty. She stands at 45cm tall. Has a lovely shape, and lots of bud sites. PreFlowerDays 7-10 Lovely growth this week. She is giving off a lovely aroma. Somewhat sweet, have only had that of my 1 or 2 plqnts this early into apreFlower, I haven't had a sherbet weed yet that I know off.. I'm sure ive tasted similar traits in other weeds, but never a sherbet. Isn't it a a great thing. When you can turn around, look out, across a healthy crop. And say hey. "After nearly a yr, your about 1/10th of knowing what you need to know to become a real "grandmaster", I look forward to that day. But for now. Pretty darn good will survive. She's at 56cm now. That's 10cm of good normal growth in 3-4 days, no excess stretching. In the perfect normal range. I think ppl get bogged down in how big they can put on in preflower. When in reality. Unless your outdoors you want your plant to stay small and have some girt, (be bushy and with a good brance structure). Unless you got money to burn reaching down into a 100+cm canopy is just not smart. As most often, you'll see experienced growers lollipop when it gets too big. (So my point is. Try keep the temperature in a 4c range. If you can't. And growing autos and wanna get some rest in and save some coffers do 4×1hr breaks. If your temp drop is more then 4+c then this will slow down any excess growth. As it takes a bit for them to stretch, (meaning they have to be in cold temps for long periods of time to notice any serious unwanted stretching) if you are growing fems. It's best to have your light go off in the day when you flip and for your light to come on at night when it's coldest, espically in preflower. You want no stretching. So think it out. And when its past preflower and you want that cold drop for terps and so on. Just leave your light off for a set mount of hrs until its next to come on (skip the night time turn on and turn it on the next day or when temps rise, so your light is off when it's coldest, or you can do this is 2 6hrs moves, or till when you are in your higher temperature) these are just things that can perfect your grow. Welcome to my Auto Dream Sherbet Diary from Kannabia seed company. Pre Flower Days 11-17 Days 36-42 So, I changed things up. The short flowering powder is best suited to fems. So, all my autos are on a hybrid 15-7-22 / and a 0-30-25 Booster powder from Green House Feeding. I have cal powder and Epsom Salt for calmag, (not that she's shown she needed any, but she did get as my water is very soft) it has allowed to to be more or less fully in control of their NPK. And I'm learning still. 1st grow all my autos are wanting N and not showing signs nitrogen tox, but they are getting it, maybe a little late. But, its better for them to be wanting a little, and you can fix, rather than getting locked out for days you can't get back with on an Auto. And having so much control. Has allowed me this last week of pre flower to control it and really dial in. I can see the quality difference, can't say for sure, as have to give these genes they speak for themselves. And I can truly see a better plant. As for not topping.. that's still to be decided. Sadly all plants are locked into their own tents now. No more of 12 hrs every 48hrs under the FC3000 they are all back on normal timing 18-6 and 12-12. I've had real issues with some disease in my soil, it has trigged a few plants to get this weird unexplained disease. Where they suffer but after a h202 feed they pull through. Gladly this girl has been great to grow and hasn't had 1 issue. She's 65cm now coming into the last of pre flower growth has been steady. Not as rapid in pre flower as my other grows (this is my choice as my temperatures in my other grows caused excess stretching).. and then I expect to see some nice fattening coming this week and really see some bud develop. And as she comes into day 25-30 (depending how she is) i will do a hard defoloate,,(a hard defol to me now is maybe removing 1/5th of fan leafs). To expose bud sites. I'm not adding an extra p1000. With the price of electricity. It's just not an option for that little bit extra in results. If I had more space, I'd be all for using another 100watt light. But there's only so much space in my 70cm2 another light wouldn't make much of an impact.. So, sadly, my marshydro FC 3000 has pushed this plant so far. And a lesser 100watt led will have to finish. No doubt I'll be losing in the end. But, I've had fungus gnats too long.. and it's from swaping plants over that's delayed me from killing them of.. so this past week. Welcome to my Dream Sherbet auto Diary from Kannabia seed company. Week 8 Days 43-49 Flowe Days 18-24 Plant is doing nicely. Finished Pre flower last week. And this week she's been putting some weight on. Slowly but it's packing on nicely. Getting nice and frosty, really early on. So look forward to seeing her when are gets into Ripening stage. Done some very light defol. Like 1 10th of leaf removal on wk 8, (not this wk, next wks pics that'll be updated once week is finish). I don't this time, if its laziness or knowledge of, knowing, you really don't need to do much in the way of defol. Just rotate and move nodes so light hits the plant at all angles every 24hrs or so I move about. So haven't touched it this week in way of defoliate, but I got some in on the next week, (update coming soon) Have been keeping on a light diet. Really hard to judge her tbh. I seen very light green leafs, and to compensate I added more NPK and managed to tip burn lightly. So, was just fade, or something like that. So, I lowered the Hybrid powder and upped the PK. Didnt change the ppm much, but, just how I got to that ppm. I'm a little bit behind on my diaries so this girl is actually 6 days ahead of this update. When I finish 2moros week. I'll update a new week. 65cm tall, so, I know she's done with PreFlower. Took 17ish days till she stopped growing. Her side nodes are very tall. And she looks like she's been topped but she hasn't been. Very nice long colas. Really happy with these genetics. She's doing well under my p1000.. when I was going through my pots. I could see little creepie crawlies. (I don't know if these were young gnats without wings) or something else is in my soil. I dosed all the top with H202 6% 1-5 h202/water ratio and sprayed the top of the soil. Again, my poxy intake kicked its ducting off. I musta bumped it. And my tent, went through a whole night of very high temperatures. But, it stunk off co2. (Or whatever comes in them cheap co2 exhale bags.) They must work, as If they didn't raise the resistance to RH/TEMP my plants would of defo died by now. Next on list is an arnet co2 meter. They expensive though. The THC plants can take the high rh/temperatures but the cbdv doesn't like hot temps. The added co2 doesn't seem to help the resistance to higher temps/rh that go beyond 32c and 70+% rh. Welcome to my Dream Sherbet Auto Diary from kannabia seed company. Wk 8 Days 49-56 Flower Days 24-30 plant done well. Started to put on some fattness. No signs of wanting anything. Wish I had of done more hard lollipoppoing before pre flower. If had of been able to put my autos under my FC 3000 I've no doubt I'd of gotten much thicker buds, as you go down the nodes, there is a lot that looks like it's just out of pre flower, but it's just as far along as the other top buds, (its larf, but there is a lot of nice thick dense buds that are very sweet smelling, with a musky citrus smell to it. Very hard to put a smell on any of my plants, as there's a few in the tents that overpower your senses, and this is 1. She's very frosty, nice and sticky. Still has some growing left to do. About another 2 weeks I reckon.. Week 9 days 56-63 Flower Day 31-36 she has came along nicely. Has gotten fatter the last few days. And packed on the frost. Very sweet smelling and that musk smell has gotten much more intense. Can't wait to taste this lady. I'd say, we have another 10+ days of ripening left and then she'll be flushed and finished up 5 days or so after. So another 2 weeks I say and I'll pull her. Could be less. Let's see how the next week goes. Will get a defol in tonight and will add the pic. Won't be removing much. Just enough to open middle up to the light a bit better. Buds grew nice and strong..acted like a topped auto. There was no real main cola. But, instead there was 5 of near the same height. She didn't grow as expected. But, grew with great vigor. And pushed herself to give quite the bounty. Not a lot. But, what is there is so sticky. Stinky. Very earthy. With a very sweet undertone, can already get the hint of melons or something sweet like that when you grind it. It is an earthy smoke. And no doubt she will truly shine on a 2 month cure. And that's what this small harvest is going. Into the jars for 2 months. I've taken 3g and put it into a small jar, and will give a smoke review on it. After I feel I can justily do so. She glistenings with resin and her trichomes are bountiful. She has a very pungent earthy sweet musk that is lovely. I have vaped a bit. And it was very pleasant. The stone was deep and intense. Like a true indica. She did give a light sativa affect but was quickly washed away with a strong indica body high. 3 months later and the bud developments terpine profile became very potent with a strong pedgiree of a nice melon/earthy/sweet kush. Love this auto.
