Blue Cheese F1 automatic Week 6 2/9-15 The Cheese gals are in full flower, the buds are puffing out and stacking. I even see some lower buds connecting to the upper buds and some pistils are turning brown. There is some smell when I open the tent. The F1 genetics are reflected in that these 2 plants are almost identical. I don’t see much difference in their growth so far using the different mediums. Soil and soil/coco blend. Maybe harvest will show a difference in yield from each one. Time will tell. On 2/13 I did major defoliation on my Cheese gals. I removed all large fan leaves and any leaves shading bud sites. Initially, I thought this would be my last defoliation, however I have heard that 1) they continue to grow new leaves until day 20 of flower and 2) there must be enough foliage on the plant to photosynthesize energy. Well, I hope I left enough leaves for energy to keep bulking up the buds. Stretching has slowed down. Both girls grew only an inch and now 17 inches. This is only the end of flower week 2. Controller is set to flower. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. 2/9 & 11 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and a Dill in the back. sound week on the soil. this grow is really lovely. starting to see some promising bud sites. I think i might trim too much but i want the buds to get the light. topped them and they recovered very fast. still yet to see some purple. dont want to mess with pH just yet

Maturing fast. Some botrytis unfortunately . Have to dig in to incoming air filtration to limit spores. Ac infinity terraform just been released maybe it could help with more sterile air.

Been a bit of a strange plant the older gelato..small bud sites hoping she pops but I don’t have much hope for her it’ll be a case of ‘quality over quantity’ I think but that’s all good she smells amazing so frosty and sticky! The smaller gelato is still in preflower I took all the undergrowth away so she’s recovering from that but she looks good too!

FBT1 did not like being transplanted at all ! i guess being overwatered stressed her out some, good thing it's early in a way, hopefully she wont be permanently slower 🙏 lol , anyway she's basically healthy now, although last time i watered her it was tuesday last week and now it's friday, medium is still wet though, so no water for her until she dries out some more. Realised i hadnt been spraying my kelp carefully enough the week before so i'm spraying the soil with amino to try to keep pH basically fine until i can water with cal mag and hopefully some co2 enriched water. I pHed down the spray with 0.1g of GHE dry pH down powder to 6.0... rain water is pH 5.5 so i'm okay i think. anyway fbt1 in mrB's so easy i didnt even have to water this week lol. check out the videos, let me know ! 🚀

Day 70 - 01/12/19 This is going to be a lot bigger than my last harvests :) the colas are getting bigger each day and even the side colas are bigger than my last plants main cola. Smell is still weak/normal with that lavender/weed concoction :) hoping it gets pretty strong in the next couple of weeks! Plant hasnt gotten any taller as its finished its stretch. all thats left now is watering and waiting :) this beauty should be ready to chop down just before christmas. might have some buds dried by christmas day ahah. Main cola refuses to snap even after being bumped off the grow lamp etc. rhizotonic is definitely doing its job at strengthening stems. I added a few photos to show progress from last week. really excited for this one :) hopefully the buds will be much more dense and tighter as i will give this strain all the time it needs. ive also been watering using the full 1.8L can. the plant is drinking this and drying out in the space of 24 hours. im definitely going to give it as much water and nutes as it wants lol. Same day update: Was taking some pictures to show off LST on my other diary and they just looked great. my quick one is towering over the other diarys plant and the colas look beautiful! i posted the pictures on this week also. take a look! Day 75 - 06/12/19 Most fan leaves are yellowing and crispy now so im assuming its near the end. im going to check the trichomes in the morning to see whats up :) chopped a small bit of bud from the top of the main cola and smoked it. nice little stoned high from it :) Il probably start flushing in a few days time :) plant should definitely be ready for a week 12 harvest! i get more and more excited for the harvest of every plant i grow. im learning and improving every time. Day 76 - 07/12/19 Quick One turned into a Fat One compared to 6 days ago. im gonna start flushing tomorrow and try to harvest around the start of week 12. a nice smell of lavender and colas are thick and sticky. a definite improvement over my last diary! May 18: foliar spray of Extreme Blend from Kelp4Less this morning. Cool and overcast this weekend but it can be hot inside the mini-greenhouse. Was 9 C outside earlier today but 23 C inside greenhouse which heats up really fast in direct sun. So far so good. Still spraying plant a few times a day with water to counteract the low humidity. May 19: rain and clouds with forecast high of 8 C today. Not sunny so greenhouse won’t help and plants will have to stay indoors today and likely tomorrow too. May 20: indoors under a cheapo LED grow light that works great. Much easier than setting up a tent with a serious grow light. May 21: still cool today but should be some sun so the greenhouse will work today. Moved back outside into greenhouse in morning. May 22: mostly in greenhouse again today but they also got some direct evening sun. Good growing day if a bit cool. May 23: in greenhouse all day but evening sun again. She grew 2 inches in five days which is good for this early stage. In full veg mode it should/will be a bit over 1” per day. May 24: nice enough to be outdoors all day again. Watered with Monster Max.

Week four was definitely the week when the plants started to really grow bigger, I started some LST at my way cause even if I check thousands of videos I end it up doing what I thought was better for my plants, I perhaps was a bit late so it wasn’t stretching as I thought it would have, maybe I shouldn’t have wait this long, but again first time learning a lots.. I let the plant grow with LST only in week 4 in week 5 I introduced a scrog I made myself cause I thought that I couldn’t keep doing lst because I started too late

Got a good bit of males out of the lot but the females were def worth the wait. Def some og traces in smell and has a floral taste in the test batch with a little gsc baked cookie and sweetness. Something worth pulling out on occasion not every day.

70 days in for these girls and they are progressing the way they should be and getting fatter , there are a few dried up taco leaves from a bit of heat pumping out of the HPS so I changed the air flow to be more directly blowing the cold air up and the hot away from the buds and out the exhaust. I had to recalibrate the ph meter also , luckily I did as it was about .8 out of calibration but I haven’t seen any signs of abuse on the plant yet hopefully I caught it in time . I harvested a top bud off one of the smaller bud arms off the pineapple as we haven’t had fresh bud in over a year and honestly you can’t even tell where it’s missing , weighed 12g wet so hopefully we get an eighth or something to chop up . Maybe two weeks left for the pineapple and 4 for the GZ .

She's grown about 20cm this week,branches are starting to stretch out,same watering cycle,definitely females hairs from top four branch nodes showing more now..she is booming along,looking healthy and cant wait till she pops out some sticky buds to stare at
