Turns out the weather was perfect for drying. This is my first time bending the plant waay over instead of topping, so it was all new, turns out to not be a lot of difference except the shape is more rounded. I was a bit worried that it was not going to be a good return, I thought I might struggle to get six zips. eight seemed a bit optimistic but in the end she produced over 13.2 zips. I've just been extracting resin from the lowest quality of the box of larf I have and she is returning what I'd expect from my best buds, so yes, this is probably heavier than she looks because of the resin. Nice and light golden with a spicy delicate aroma. I'll be popping a seedsman amnesia next, but the one following that will be another Lemon Pie but she will be topped. However I can't see that I'm going to improve on 13.2, but you never know. Nevertheless I am very surprised at the yield.

Forgive me AGAIN I have started logging this actual journal several weeks after I have started the grow, but never the less, I still have dates on photos to help me track the growth so far. I decided this grow that I would try reusing my dirt from the last grow and was able to sterilize it by cooking it in the oven🙌 I did loose a little bit of dirt but decided I would just combine coco coir that I had around with the soil 1:1 to even things out. Week 1 wasn't particularly interesting. This time around I choose to only plant 2 Super Skunk (fem) seeds because I needed have a "do over" with this strain. Last grow (mid flower) I lost control of my plants and I am looking to redeem myself because this strain grew beautifully up until that point. I went ahead and germinated seeds the last week of October and had sprouted seeds by Oct. 31. The first week was pretty typical with the exception of one seedling who's shell was causing the plant difficulty in releasing. For several days I tried to just allow nature take it's course but, then I became incredibly impatient and attempted to remove it myself (BAD MOVE). The whole head snapped off of the fragile seedling and I had to immediately start over. Also the humidity in SOCAL has extremely low (in the teens) which made getting regulating humidity even more challenging. *P.S. I only gave my plants distilled water from a spray bottle to ensure that there was no over watering*

Apricot got got the chop last night! That’s why I’m late on my diaries,I knew she’d be ready! But man,she was an amazing plant to grow. There towards the end she started throwing new pistols but I think that’s just due to going a little too long cause i was wanting amber tricombs. They’re all fully cloudy with slight amber,can’t wait to see how she dries and cures🔥🔥

This week was very well, the girl showed her first pistils and she's stronger and healthier than ever, so: Day 30 sprayed with bioprotect Day 31 watered with 3l of water with 6 ml of bh, bg an a-v Day 33 The first pistils are appearing sign that blooming phase has begun. Day 34 water with the mix Day 35 I've turned on the dehumidifier trying to decrease the humidity and starting to defoliated some lower leaves, 3/4 leaves per day stress the plant to much. Still growing! She started showing some hunger signs....increasing her ppm to about 1100-1200 now. Her top half seems to be about a week ahead of her bottom. I think I'm going to have to learn how to harvest in stages this time. Her lower half is just soooo far away from the light. She slowed down to only growing a half inch a day now....then....She FINALLY stopped growing (i think) Topped out at 44"! At least I hope, I have no more room LOL. I had the light as high as I could get it...then I took it off the hooks and tied it to the top tent bars. and got it a bit higher LOL She's only 2 to 3 inches away from the light now so fingers crossed she stopped growing.
