I'm leaning more toward killing 1 or 2 plants, rather than risk all of them getting overly stressed from too many defoliations. I completely underestimated how much these Cannabis plants would grow, especially once they started to stretch. I'm going to start saving the water that is collected through the dehumidifier. About a day into week 3 . Growing very strong and fast. Transplanted into the 5gal bags at night . Over week 3 they exploded. They wanted the room .. the 5gal bags made that happen. Amazing results with just foxfarm ocean forest soil.

Week 7 of Veg for these beautiful Apple Betty ladies! It was a stressful week for the girls but they made it❤️ Day 44 - I decided the girls had outgrown their 2 gallon nursery pots and were ready to move on. After a quick cleanup of the stems close to the base, they were ready to go. I like to keep my soil in a Rubbermaid bin, either with a fan lightly blowing, or the exhaust line from my tent blowing at it. Since I started doing this, I have not had any gnats or pests in my grows, of course with regular cleanings and IPM…my mix is Promix HP with about 20% worm castings added to it. This time around, I decided to use some Dynomyco to increase the mycorrhiza count of my Promix HP. This will increase root development by adding all kinds of interconnected webbing and allow for better uptake of nutrients overall. Within an hour or so all of the ladies were transplanted ❤️ x2 in 7 gallon fabric pots, and 1 in a 5 gallon fabric pot ( the 5 gallon will finish in my 2x4 tent) Once the girls bounce back and take hold of their new forever pot, I will be setting up my custom “floating” SCROG net and allowing them some time to get bent and tucked all nice snug before I flip to a flower schedule. 6/24 this may be the last week. The screen recordings are of both plants (purple octane and rs11) they're both close. I also went back and did some math and the last week of veg, should've been first week of flower. I may let her go for 10 weeks. We will see how she looks throughout this week(trichs) 6/25 looking super close. All cloudy besides maybe 10% 6/29 will get in there with a microscope again. just waiting on her to ripen. can't tell if she's done, or at rhat point where she looks so good that she's done but then that last week the plant explodes. well see and yall will definitely hear about it.

Another quiet week, plants are slowly loosing lower shaded leaves as expected, luckily they aren’t growing any taller anymore. Will be surprised if no foxtails appear as the par is 1300-1400 around some of the taller colas. My lights in total are using 810w, as I have had to dim the light at the front down by 30% a couple weeks ago. DWC really is a breeze during flowering, barely any work to do, kinda miss having a reason to go in there for anything other than observing 😊 Happy growing all ✌️

unfortunately we noticed some budrod in the headbud. we cut it generously sb, unfortunately the papaya cookies still need something and the weather is now autumnal cold and rainy. We'll see in 7 days at the latest, but hopefully there won't be any more budrod by then... It's the most beautiful of all the outdoor plants so far.

18/06: Week 5 – early bloom stage confirmed! 🌱➡️🌸 We're entering week 5 with EC 1.6 and pH 5.8. The very first white pistils have emerged, confirming the transition into early flowering. The recent vertical surge was likely boosted by Far-Red and IR spectrum effects, along with enhanced metabolism from the CO₂ generator. From here, the plants will start shifting energy from stretch to flower production. Environmental control (especially RH and VPD) is now crucial to avoid early bloom issues. LST is being finalized as structure sets in. 21/06: We're now at day 31 since germination, and the flowering phase is clearly underway. Based on the canopy photo, the plants are thriving: a lush, uniform green with no signs of nutrient stress. Buds are starting to stack up nicely, and the foliage remains sturdy and intact. EC has been bumped up to 1.8 this week to support early bloom demands — especially for phosphorus and potassium — and the plants are handling it smoothly. No burnt tips or discoloration, indicating stable nutrient uptake. With environmental parameters dialed in through the GGS controller, everything's in sync. Onward to some serious bud building. 22/06: Stretch is in full swing — the girls are reaching hard, and I’ve had to raise the lights multiple times over the last few days. They’re now hovering just 10 cm above the canopy, delivering 1200 PPFD at 38 °C. We're truly pushing the physiological limit here. Dropping the lights any closer isn’t an option — cooling is maxed out, and more intensity = more heat. The only adjustable variable left would be CO₂ reduction, which I’d rather avoid at this stage. So far, no visible stress signs, but I’m watching them closely. Water uptake is intense — 100L in just 5 days. I refilled today (rather than a full res change) to prevent air pocket formation. Slightly bumped up the EC to temper the stretch. If things keep going vertical, some LST may soon be necessary — a few tops are practically kissing the diodes.
