My low EC + 40% Power of my Sanlight lead to yellowing of the leafs - after raising to EC 1.2+ problem was fixed. In hindsight i raised the EC too slowly which i'll fix for the next run. At this point in time my watering was fully automated using a Fritz DECT200 - this was managed by a python script on my Home NAS Raspi - i made the script publicly available here https://github.com/heyjan/fritzbox_water_automation Watering schedule was 9 shots in total for 60 seconds each

Almost done here! What a journey. I’m gonna flush her tonight, even if the soil is still wet. I’m sorry I don’t have one extra week (2 weeks with Overdrive would be better), but the buds are big and fat now. Definitely time for a big flush. You can see trichomes maturation on the two videos I uploaded.

A rainy week but she pushed through…I cut two bud Roth spots this week after the humidity spiked again. Her sativa genetics is her only savior for the next 3 or 4 weeks before harvest.

I'm really looking forward to how this one turns out.. As you can see, I have topped her twice since my last post a week ago... Fastbuds Week 4 Original OG Kush Auto The 3 of these are staying on the shorter/bushier side. All in all showing amazing growth, good node spacing, and a nice rich shade of green while showing no issue of nute burn. I've given only water up to this point so around week 4 I like to give them a good feeding of a molasses tea (1tsp of molasses/per gallon of water) is what I do and they seem to enjoy it. This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

Aug 10: Blueberry Pie F1 Fast is doing great. Three weeks now moving her into the garage which is enough, and now I can just leave her in the yard which is easier and scores another couple hours of sunlight per day. Nice solid start to flowering, and I like the schedule used this year for the force flowering. This strain is delivering on the promise of being big and fast. Bright sunny day and I’ve got the UV lights on. About five hours today with the UV lights at mid-day. Buds are looking really good. The bud development after 3 weeks is amazing. The buds got visibly much fatter just today. Compared to some fast plants in previous years, this one is about 2-3 weeks ahead. Very well suited to short season outdoor growing, but partially due to full darkness in the garage rather than just phyto-forcing with the far red light as I did last year. I’m still using the far red light, but putting them in the garage provides more darkness and helps get strong flowering started. Aug 12: nice fat buds forming quickly, gotta like that. Aug 14: fast, fast, fast. Flowers are progressing quickly. Added three tablespoons of a 50:50 mix of Power Bloom and malted barley. Added as top dressing and then watered in. Aug 16: cool, overcast all day, a bit of rain and smoky so not a nice mid-August day. Rain should help but out some fires in northeast BC, Yukon, and northwest Alberta. maybe. Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. day 51: I did some smaller repositioning and defoliation. It looks like she liked the more of nutrients i gave her yesterday. The buds are getting bigger, the pistils start to change their color and more trichomes are getting cloudy. day 52: Just visual check and filling up humidifier. day 53: Watering day. I increased the amount of Bio-Bloom, Top-Max and Bio-Heaven to 3ml/l. I'm now at about 6 liters of water every 3 days. day 54: Just visual check and filling up humidifier. day 55: Just visual check and filling up humidifier. The buds are getting bigger and more dense. From now I will have a close look at the pistils and the trichomes to decide when I will start to give her only plain (ph-regulated) water. I guess we have about 2-3 weeks to go from now. What are you thinking? day 56: Watering day. As most of the pistils are still white and most of the trichomes still clear, I gave her about 6 liters of water full of nutrients. day 57: While checking on her, I noticed some "burned" looking leaf tips. I guess that could've been a little too much nutrients last time. Overall she is looking happy.

Week 6 started adding kangaroots I’ve only been watering about .5 gallon twice a week they seem to be doing really well can’t wait to see what they look like next week good luck everyone !

She's flowering but slowly and I wonder if its due to the stress I caused with the big defoliation on Sunday 14/02 where I removed most fan leaves and all lower shoots of which the bud sites would not receive enough light and just create larfy poor quality low strength buds. She smells very strong now as well. DAY 51 -------- Friday 12th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes which produced 570ml runoff (19%). DAY 52 -------- Saturday 13th February 18:00 I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes which produced 610ml runoff (20%). DAY 53 -------- Sunday 14th February 11:45 I made 10L of early bloom nutes with dechlorinated tap water (no rain water left), 5L at a pH of 5.7 and 5L at a pH of 5.6. Sunday 14th February 18:00 I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes which produced 800ml runoff (27%). [24°C/46%] I did a second defoliation on Jesus which was supposed to just be removing some fan leaves and inner foliage I missed last time but I ended up getting carried away again. Every bud site has plenty of light now so hopefully shell bounce back quick. I also raised the light again so that it is 16" above the canopy of Jesus as it was too close now Jesus has grown. DAY 54 -------- Monday 15th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes which produced 1350ml runoff (45%). DAY 55 -------- Tuesday 16th February 11:30 I made 10L of early bloom nutes with rainwater, 5L at a pH of 5.8 and 5L at a pH of 5.9. I forgot to turn the heat down over night and the humidity is at 56% currently. [22°C/56%] Tuesday 16th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.9L of early bloom nutes which produced 1250ml runoff (43%). Shes still not back to her usual intake after the defoliation 2 days ago. I turned the dehumidifier on and set it to 45% as the RH had climbed to 62%. [22°C/62%] DAY 56 -------- Wednesday 17th February 12:00 I made 10L of early bloom nutes with dechlorinated tap water, 5L at a pH of 5.7 and 5L at a pH of 5.6. Wednesday 17th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.5L of early bloom nutes which produced 590ml runoff (24%). DAY 57 -------- Thursday 18th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.5L of early bloom nutes which produced 800ml runoff (32%). At the wknd I think I'm going to try and bend the 2 tallest shoots down in the centre as they are taller than the rest by a bit now. I adjusted a couple of ties to expose more bud sites. I had to move the light up again by 2 inches to accommodate for growth as it was sitting at 14" above the canopy. [24°C/52%]

2018-11-19 Flowering in full swing. Pulling slows down. In the morning, on the day of the compote replacement, my PPM-meter broke down. Therefore, the new solution was kneaded by eye. Tomorrow a new device will arrive and I will clarify what I have mixed there. 2018-11-24 Buds swell, there is time to figure out how to do time lapse video.
