Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Two weeks Of Flowering Completed 12th March 2020 Ginger Nut cookies managed to squeeze in another inch or so of stretch this week but is now focusing on the flower production. I'ts only early on but I can already detect a distinct difference in aromas from both the mother plant and the Red Diesel clone "Feminised pollen " donor. The GSC mother had a strong funky smell , whilst the red diesel was straight up Gassy smelling. The buds on this plant smell sort of Fruity and sweet which is interesting. Now that the stretch is done I'll switch my supplemental feeds to More Potassium etc . Gave her a nice Drink yesterday of unsulphured Australian sugar cane Mollasses mixed with Rain water. This is a great source of Iron , Calcium and Potassium as well as lots of sugars and carbs for the roots to use as food. I did the weekly Ph and Temp check and it was 6.5 and 22c . That is about all I have to Report this week so...... Now it's Time for...... The Weekly aussie Music Video/s 👍 Last week was Daddy Cool with a couple of their hit songs "Eagle Rock" and "Come back again" For This weeks Video/s I have chosen an Iconic Aussie Pub Rock Band called Cold Chisel. Cold chisel are fronted by Two singers Jimmy Barnes who will feature again next week as a solo artist and Ian Moss who is also Chisels Lead Guitarist. I have chosen two videos that features each lead singer performing . The first Video is 'Khe sanh' sang By Jimmy Barnes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inKlN0ScObA And the second video is 'Bow River' sang by Ian Moss https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2by810nulE Hope you enjoy the music and please leave a like I'll be back again next week with another update and Aussie Music Video/s 👍👍👊

Hello Growmies, As we navigate through week 9, the crescendo of the Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrids’ flowering odyssey is near. Nestled within the verdant grove alongside the Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding strains, our Watermelon Candy troupe is displaying the telltale signs of impending harvest. The plants exude a melody of sweetness, with trichomes glistening like morning dew under the subdued glow of the IR lights, revealing a spectacular array of colors not typically seen in the standard lighting spectrum. Despite the compact nature of the buds, which is a result of the 12/12 light cycle they've been flourishing under, the density of these floral clusters cannot be overstated—like tiny, aromatic asteroids. Plant #1 continues its reign with a prolific bud structure that's nothing short of mesmeric. Plants #2 and #3 exhibit a bounty of floral nodes, each one a testament to the bounteous yields that are just a fortnight away. Their canopies spread wide, a testament to the cultivar's vigorous growth habit and the attentive care they’ve received. Though the buds might not break records in size, their solidity is remarkable—a testament to the precise environmental controls maintained by our trusty TrolMaster. The buds are rock-solid, heavy with resin, and brimming with the promise of potent effects and delectable flavors. Our nutritional regimen remains unchanged, delivering the essential elements for these final, crucial stages of bloom. The meticulous oversight of our automated systems ensures that our Watermelon Candy Hybrids are relishing in their peak conditions, as we nudge them gently toward full maturation. With a harvest on the horizon, the anticipation is palpable. These final days are a mixture of excitement and the bittersweet acknowledgment that this chapter is closing. Soon, we’ll be able to savor the fruits of our labor, a sweet reward for the weeks of dedication and camaraderie in our grow community. Until then, we'll continue to marvel at the transformation, watching as each plant fulfills its genetic destiny, soon to provide joy and relief in its final form. Stay lifted, Salokin

So she grew significantly...sideways, upwards..hopefully downwards too...I want a really strong and well structured Stem and root-base!! Reason for Silica, but also trying not to over feed her.. Other than that...was a real blessing watching her pray for light and dance.. Wonderful!!

Thank you. Growing cannabis is an art that seems to evolve as you learn it. While it may only take a little knowledge to get started, It seems that this may take a life-time to perfect (doubt I'll ever make that category, but I will certainly try). So thank-you to the community that Shares, Comments, Follows, and Likes. Your efforts in any of these actions make these journals a worth-while and perfect way for us all to learn and track our efforts. I personally appreciate it. Also a huge Thanks has to go out to Grow Diaries for making this community even possible. Your efforts to supply the data storage alone is more than enough, but you the fact that you dont stop there and constantly try to improve the experience even more makes this my favorite community to to share on. And then lastly, but certainly not least, a heartfelt Thank-you to Royal Queen Seeds for your branding/research while making these seeds available to people like me. It gives me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start and incubation period 3/12/24 to 3/26/24 Transfer Day to Veg Day 6 3/27 to 4/2 Germination: First note was about the appearance of the seeds. They were smaller than I am used to seeing, but no damage or deformities and look to be in good shape. Germination took 14 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 23hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. 2 cracked open a little and I placed them both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 2 days then checked, no progress. So I freshened the water then waited another 2 days and checked, little to no progress. Then checked again 1 day later and finally was able to move them. One looked fully ready and the other seemed less ready. I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. 1 popped out of the pods in 1 day but the other did not. So I gave it 1 more day and started my spare seed. After 4 days of water and towels I replaced the dead pod with a growing sprout. Transplant occurred on 3/27 Veg Day 0 to 6 1gal hard tall pots. Transplant went well. The sprouts are smaller than I would like and seem to be stubborn in growth to start but hoping htat changes with soil. One pod was overgrown in the pods and Im hoping it doesn't reflect in the overall plant production. Video: Transplant ease. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

Welcome to week 10 and week 4 of the flowering period of my Zambeza White Widow XL grow😁 Last changes seems to have a possitive effect an the plants. 2 liters a plant a feeding seems to be a little to much considdering that my RH is getting a little to high over 50% now it raises to 60 when the light are off and going to 45 with lights on. Considdering to defoliate some more but not sure. Keep ya posted😁💚💯 Day 27😁😁 Every thing is going better by the day. RH is now between 42 en 47. And this is how we successfully open week 9 - After fermenting a dose of PK compost tea at the end of last week, I poured it extensively. As always, he did them very well. They also need significantly more water again. I have now also increased the humidity a bit, because there is currently drier indoor air in the room of the cultivation area. Let's see how long I leave my Sweet Seeds ladies. I'll decide that at short notice. Sour Jealousy will then be able to enjoy all the space to bloom at her disposal. Both Sweet Seeds now only get purified and aerated water and only enriched with enzymes. It is now time to signal to both to use up their reserves. After all, their genetically pre-programmed life cycle is significantly shorter than that of sativa-dominant strains - for example, Sour Jealousy from Fast Buds. She is only now really starting to flower, while the indica dominant strains are moving towards the glorious end. I have also already been able to positively determine how practical and thought through to the end 2 Sanlight panels really make sense. I am not primarily concerned with more power through the lighting, but also and above all, I am concerned with the homogeneous illumination at 11 degrees inclined positioning of the solar panels. And to have the opportunity to meet the different growing conditions individually by adjusting the heights of both panels. Of course, I will be able to strive for much higher performance in the large Homebox Ambient with CO 2 and both lamps, but area coverage is the be-all and end-all for me. Lamps currently operate at 60% each. That's definitely enough. Because 2 x EVO 4 - 80 means to me: Precision in the form of light - a tool that you learn to use. Everything before didn't convince and satisfy me nearly as impressively as Sanlight. Also the advantage of being able to operate your lighting system from the outside, via Bluetooth, yes that is really very important, practical and innovative. It makes things so much easier... Sweet Seeds - brand new: „Jealousy Z XL“ I can’t wait to give it a try next run… Super noble presentation, in my opinion. There are many reasons for an emotional attachment to a product. But one stands out in particular: the desire to design, personalize, individualize something or - in other words - the desire to own something unique and feel special as a result. Scientists have found that our buying behavior is shaped by emotions. A person does not buy a product, but an emotional feeling. Many thanks to Sweet Seeds! 🙏 I also feel the feeling that Dark Devil gives me - as a noble high. I associate the turn with a noble, very effective and multifaceted indica dominant weed from Sweet Seeds. Creative work only works in the 1st part of the turn - haha, because then the coma phase begins with subsequent binge eating! But even during sports I was in the vaporizer with Dark Devil and it supported me mightily during training. Maybe it depends on the activity at the time of consumption, haha I find it very fruity in taste and smell. Very sweet terpene spectrum. And not very top-heavy. A wonderful body high. Worries and fears - as if blown away… Some here on growdiaries describe meticulously exactly how they give what, when and how much of it to the plant, etc. I prefer to keep a diary for my passion in a different way. With passion and feeling. I feel my plants. And talk to them. They also listen to chilled music. The Kobe beef in Japan is even massaged to classical music. ;-)) I think such information is only useful for a run to those who do it exactly the same way, under the same conditions with almost the same phenotype. That is almost impossible. And not necessary either. I have to learn to read plants. Their signs are pointing. Become sensitive to it. If I know why and how something happens, then I also know how to keep something like this alive. And what it takes. And why. So let's see what we have to do today. In any case, Lady Jealousy is being driven to the hairdresser today. Yes, we're doing beauty and wellness spa today, haha. She's so busy with branching, I'll give her a helping hand. She has developed incredibly. And has an unusually long breath. Comparative: She looks like a farm animal to me. In other words, what it was bred for. Very strong and healthy adult. Then bloom efficiently and productively. And that's the fascinating thing for me. The breeder creates all parameters here to perfection. Even though I don't particularly like the marketing of Fast Buds anymore, I have to admit without envy: "I've never experienced that before." The phenotypes are absolute warriors, from another planet. Marketing is debatable. No problem. But I can only marvel at these plants and their quality. Unfortunately, too much turnover often spoils the core vision of a successful company. …PK is on the way! Addendum about the one, Lady Dark Devil 😈, which had to be harvested too early: And yet: Dark Devil gives me a deep inner satisfaction in my existence. Nothing upsets me. Nothing can disturb me, because I am one, with myself and my environment. I can only feel gratitude for that. It gives me this broad, generous sense of inner peace. For me, inner peace means balance, equanimity, even-mindedness, harmony, and stability. And that's exactly what a noble special effect means to me. When a weed variety can develop medicinal qualities. When THC simply has a more complex effect on my organism, than just the usual power high. And if, a plant that hasn't even had the opportunity to reach its full potential, can do that, it has passed all the requirements of a cannabis variation, with flying colors. And on top of that, she seems incredibly graceful and elegantly feminine to me. It's just something very special: She's a Sweet Seed! Oh I see, I'm writing a real diary here... 😜 But I love that. I love grow diaries. Look at the brave girl. She forgives me for topping, training, defoliating and in the end: that I have to kill her. But I know then for sure, that she knows, that I really loved her. And the fascinating homogeneity. Totally instructive. It behaves like a photoperiod phenotype, unbelievable but true! on 14.09.2024 I moved her to the grow room with the others. So it's almost 9 weeks. I'm curious to see if she holds out. But I think so. It seems incredibly energetic and relatively relaxed to me. I'm mentally very busy with her right now. Every morning I comb through her leaf picture. Make impressions of the smallest changes. I currently have Pk boosters or tea with her every third day, alternating. And in between only purified water with enzymes. Dark Devil and Big Devil I let slowly starve and then die of thirst. They consumed the last booster 4 days ago. She (Sour Jealousy) currently swallows 2.5 liters per day. That's really a lot. And in the morning she wants to have something again. I think the lamps tickle out their full potential. I meticulously defoliated her and now she stands happily and despite all the exertions, like a star in the sky. My star. 🌟 Sour Jealousy is really crazy, I can say that. And the coolest highlight will be: Lady Jealousy will soon be able to enjoy the whole place in the sun for the "grande finale". The smell of the two Sweet Seeds totally upsets me! I would like to bite into it. Its killing me softly. Very few leaves have a few dark small spots or dots at the tips of the leaves. (Sour Jealousy) Many thanks to BerrySweetHighhat. I think the same. Will probably be calcium. She gets this from the Bio PK Booster. I keep calm and don’t panic, it’s organic. ;-)) Sour Jealousy: Today I cleaned out small shoots again & defoliated them from below up. I think there were still too many young little shoots. Now everything should be distributed quite well. We'll see. Tomorrow I will probably harvest both Sweet Seeds. Hello everybody! Today it's Dark and Big Devil's attack. It's about time. Lady Jealousy will be allowed to use the full 0.64 sqm of cultivation area for herself from today. Take care & bee 🐝 positive 🐝… to bee continued.

D14 - The new #1 is looking way better than her predecessor, although she still has her seed helmet on. I've tried oh so carefully to remove it but no luck so far, and I'm afraid of using excessive force, so for now, it stays on. #2 is just trucking along, doing her thing. She is now 11 cm tall and 10 cm wide. I also removed her support as she is strong enough without it. I also cut back the cover crop as it was getting a bit wild and partly overshadowed the girls. Since starting the grow, I have yet to water the girls properly, but they did get a little bit a couple of days ago when I had some extra after watering nematodes (against fungus gnats) to our regular houseplants. Better to be proactive than reactive ;) D15 - Today, #1 popped out of her seed. Well, mostly as it is still stuck on one of the cotyledons. It's been over two weeks without proper watering, so the girls are getting a bit thirsty. The blumat digitals show around 115-120 mbar. I started a simple compost tea consisting of worm casting, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, biochar, and molasses. I'll leave it brewing overnight, and then it's watering/feeding time tomorrow. D17 - Not much to report as the girls are simply doing their thing. Yesterday, I gave each around 2 liters of the compost tea I started a couple of days ago. As always, I completely forgot to check the pH of the tea. I have no idea why I keep forgetting that with my teas when I have no problem checking the pH when I use plain water. Oh well. Not the end of the world but something I need to keep in mind for the next tea in a couple of weeks. D20 - The last day in week two of veg. Nothing to report, really. The girls are getting bigger day by day, and both are looking healthy and well. The second girl already has purple leaf stems which I don't think is stress since she looks lush and vibrant otherwise. I guess it is her genes as this strain can turn purple. I have never grown any purple cannabis, so my fingers are crossed!

Initiated high-stress training and topping for my marijuana plants this week, combining the power of Dynomyco microbial and advanced nutrients. The plants responded impressively, displaying robust growth and vibrant health. The strategic stress training enhances resilience, while Dynomyco fosters a strong root system, complemented by the nourishing effects of advanced nutrients. Thrilled with the progress and eager to share this successful cultivation journey! Happy farming family

This week i made a plan for the plants feeding. For start gave a small portion of nutrients like 1/4 from the suggested to see the reaction of the plants. Day 21: fim one plant (the plant referred as cotyledons now is going to be mentioned as fim).In a few days will top the other one.
