Day 35 - few pics and vids..... everything going along nicely ๐Ÿ‘ This is a pretty big update, so i'll add to it over the next few days, as i finish building it all.... i'm building these 2 x SS haze, the full tent, just finishing up the setup..... trimming them, changing solutions to 12/12 and flower..... changed the exhaust fan and filter setup to the better outside the tent method.... and installed 12v CPU computer fan, lol ("alta9" fits in 4in ducting perfectly), drops wattage on extractor fan.... 10w tops... got a few kg of active carbon and making/replacing the carbon filter .... i'll add afew vids of the new setup in afew days... Day 36 - few pics/vid of new tent setup...... "alta 9" fan :) post tomorrow after i finish trimmin and settin up night mode etc...... and into tomorrow we go, lol ... Day 37.... slowly getting there..... little bit more to go... this should make things abit more interesting..... right tank (short babie) has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 150 ml -dutch master one gold FLOWER.... 6.4 PH - 1400 PPM left tank has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 50 ml of elements a and 50ml of b and 10 ml of nitro and 20ml of Crystalic (molasses/pot) .... 6.5 PH - 1200 PPM more pics / vids of the finished tent setup.... roots, transfer, etc... Day 37 is alot of vids of the clean and change to flower..... edit - day after build noticed left tank (nutrifield) not enough bubbles..... pulled out the 4 air pump and swapped to the 2 x original oxipumps... much better, also to fix the problem with ph goin high, and bubbles not stirin the mix, was to add another 10ml of crystallic and another 5ml of nitro... then pumped both tanks with ph down and set em to 5.8-6.2 - both plants have fully recovered from the big trim, and bounced back within 12-24hrs, post pics/vid in abit..... Day 39 - made a freaky video... was curious about what the plants would see looking up at the lights... the lights and buzzing of air compressors and bubbling tank water, and dazzling lights turned out pretty cool in vid editor, was in selfie mode.... and final vid of the bounceback from trim :) ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž

The first plant was only about 9 inches from the top of the pot to her main cola tips, so she yielded like 12 grams ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ The second was much more full bud, alot more of it as well. It's a gorgeous plant and it's crazy to see how dark it really is, everyone that sees it is kind of star struck for a second.

Hello Diary. Finished and the fifth week of flowering, a total of the eighth week, Purple Punch looks wonderful. another week or two and there will be a harvest. The flowers themselves are well filled, and are hard to the touch, and the scent is amazing. As you can see in the photos, the shape of the plant is beautiful, as if I was doing some LST, but I just did defoliation from the lower branches. The leaves are a beautiful healthy green color, here and there some leaves have become more yellowish with a slight purple tinge, which are the first signs that the harvest is approaching. Watering is every three days, I stopped adding nutrients, I only regulate p.H of water to values โ€‹โ€‹between 6.0 and 6.5. Conditions on the Farm are satisfactory, the temperature is around 25 degrees while the humidity is below 40%. Here's what it looked like last week: 17/03/2021 - Day 50. Watering. I prepared a total of 7 liters of water, adjusted the p.H to 6.3 and watered all three plants on the farm evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 38% humidity. 20/03/2021 - Day 53. Watering. The procedure is the same as three days ago. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.1 degrees and 34% humidity. 23/03/2021 - Day 56. Watering and photography. As for watering, the same procedure as three days ago, after which I photographed Watermelon and her roommates, two Purple Punch. Now I have to water and wait for the right moment. I check with a microscope the development of trichomes but they are still transparent. Thatโ€™s it for this week, see you soon.

Salutations, fellow cultivators and botanical enthusiasts! Welcome to the First Week of Flowering Report for our beloved Jealousy in the Power Buds competition. The journey thus far has been nothing short of spectacular, and now, as we transition into the flowering phase, the excitement is reaching new heights. To kick off this week, I decided to don my horticultural surgeon's hat and perform a series of strategic maneuvers on our green queen. The week began with a daring move โ€“ a couple of toppings to encourage a more bushy and compact growth structure. It's like giving Jealousy a little green haircut, shaping her into a voluptuous, floral masterpiece. But that's not all, my friends! A defoliation extravaganza ensued, where I carefully removed some of the larger fan leaves. Now, I can almost hear you asking, "Why on earth would you do that?" Well, it's all about optimizing light penetration and airflow, ensuring that each bud site receives its fair share of sunshine and fresh air. It's like orchestrating a botanical ballet, where every dancer gets their moment in the spotlight. Now, brace yourselves for the grand finale โ€“ taking some cuts. I know, I know, typically, we'd ease into these practices, but time is of the essence, and I wanted to put Jealousy's genetics to the ultimate test. The cuts were taken with the precision of a master sculptor, each one destined to become a clone, a green offspring preserving the essence of our marvelous Jealousy. And let's not forget the star of this green show โ€“ Jealousy herself. She's embracing these changes with open leaves, responding to the toppings and defoliation like a botanical maestro. It's like watching a symphony unfold, where each note played by nature results in a crescendo of growth and vitality. As we navigate this first week of flowering, let's tip our virtual hats to Zamnesia and Plagron for paving the way for this thrilling Power Buds adventure. Their contributions are the backbone of our horticultural success. A round of applause to the Grow Diaries community โ€“ your shared wisdom and green camaraderie elevate our collective knowledge. To my fellow contestants and growers, may your flowering phase be abundant with resinous wonders, and may the fragrance of success linger in your grow rooms. Here's to a week of strategic moves, green transformations, and the anticipation of a blooming spectacle. Stay green, stay inspired, and keep cultivating those dreams! As always, thank you all for stopping by, for the love and for it all. This journey of mine would just not be the same without you guys. The love and support are very much appreciated, and I feel honored and blessed with you all in my life !!! With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself and always do things expecting nothing in return, with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will respond in ways you canโ€™t even dream of . Friendly reminder: all you see here is pure research and for educational purposes only. Genetics - Jelousy @Zamnesia Nutrients @Plagron Light - @viparspectra P2000 Room size - 3x3 - 0,9x0,9

High, FD57 Time passes by! Nine days of flush, five days to harvest...๐Ÿ˜‡ FD58 - last flush.๐Ÿ‘Œ Some growers turn their light off during the last couple of days, thinking that the buds produce more resin. Kinda true. But the trichomes only have a stem and no head. And the head is what I want. So no need for this. ๐Ÿ‘ Pics from FD61 were take shortly before the light went on. You want a closer look? Just open the pic in a new tab... ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks for your support guys, you rock. ๐Ÿ˜˜ Stay green. ๐Ÿ‘ฝ

Last the buds matured nicely. Quite a sweet, candy grape funky gas terp. The buds are very dense and heavy. Colas are palm sized and Iโ€™m happy with the 10% amber. Chopped er down. Buds are crazy dense and hard. 4 plants and I harvested 3 lbs and 11ozโ€™s! not bad. Tastes like candy grape gas/skunk.

This grow turned out to be quite a journey. Originally, this run was meant to be a simple between-grow project, something to keep the season going outdoors, without too much effort. But plans changed, and the Orange Sherbet ended up in the tent, where it took a completely different direction than expected. She grew big and strong early on, but the LST was tricky. she didnโ€™t respond very well at first, and shaping her the way I wanted took a lot of time and patience. It was interesting to see how she stretched and filled out later, but overall, the structure stayed somewhat awkward to manage. Throughout the grow I struggled with CalMag and potassium balance. I tried several adjustments, sometimes with high CalMag doses, but it never fully stabilized. Itโ€™s still unclear if that came from the strain itself or from the BioBizz line, but it made the mid-to-late phase more difficult than I had hoped. The flowering time was also much longer than advertised. the breeder mentions around 9 weeks, but in reality this one took closer to 14โ€“15 weeks total. What was supposed to be a quick side project turned into a long, demanding run. On the bright side, she delivered a very solid yield. a bit over 160 g of trimmed buds plus another 50 g of popcorn, well above 1 g/W. The aroma is lovely after 10 days of curing: creamy, with vanilla and a subtle orange note returning. However, the buds are airy, not as dense as I hoped. The effect and flavor are great, but visually itโ€™s more on the average side. Even so, this grow was one of the most instructive Iโ€™ve done. I learned a lot about deficiency management, humidity control, watering and how far genetics and environment interact. Going forward, Iโ€™ll take a break from autos and focus on photoperiod strains again. I just prefer the control and predictability they offer. All in all: not my prettiest grow, but a very valuable one. About drying in dry ferm/dry age and regular drying: the material in the bags took a few days longer to dry which is said to be good (regular dry was 7 days, bags was 9 or 10). initially I think the buds from bags look better but now in curing I can't really tell a difference, not visually and not in the nose. Let's see how everything evolves over time but honestly I am not expecting it to differ a lot from regular drying.

The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? By combining new cannabis cultivars with a selection of strains from their long-established cannabis gene bank. For the first time in thirty-six years, they are opening the doors of the Sensi Seeds Research and Development Department. Week #6 Transplanted the plants into their final pots (18l). Last week feeding was a bit too light, some plants started to move their Nitrogen, their bottom leaves turned light green/ slightly yellow. But the problem has been solved in 3 days after transplanting and watering with some nootz. Adding some more light. The Mars-Hydro SP250 has done an excellent job on its own during 5 weeks but itโ€™s time to give some more light coverage to grow bigger plants, by switching on an MH light under a wing reflector. Using Cellmax Product-X* into their BIO Soil with some BIO 8-2-2 and some RootBooster makes this crop a 100% bio organic growth. *Using 0.7gr / plants in the transplanting hole in contact with the roots (and not 1ml/1l). (Iโ€™m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control)

I should be more vigilant on the symptoms of the plant and never use the soil you put on the balcony! Still, it is good to have a harvest with high THC.
