Putting on weight fast now in peak flower. Love the structure of the plant and really regretting not taking a cutting. Oh well, ce la vie. Will stop adding PK in the next few days before cutting back on nutrients next week then flushing for the last 2 weeks. This plant is at the back of the timelapse.

Buds starting to put on a little extra weight was having doubts with this strain as i stressed her out quite abit but she's pulling through should have a decent yield overall. Has developed a strong ZKITTLEZ smell.

Well week 5 of bloom is complete, and this week brought a few challenges. Humidity in my area has been through the roof, close to 100%. My heavy-duty equipment was struggling to bring my tent to acceptable late flowering levels, sometimes reaching over 60% RH, especially at night when the plant was respirating more. Additionally, her pale yellow color, and leathery leaves didn't excite me too much. If you remember, we had a severe heat wave a couple of weeks ago, which contributed to that. But also, since I messed up the ScrOG training, and regrettably decided not to super-crop her, a fair share of the leaf problems were due to light stress as well, as I didn't want to sacrifice lower colas, so I let it go. My biggest mistake this grow, was not paying attention to her the one day she decided to stretch nearly a foot, and was unable to be weaved into the net the next day without being snapped in half. My second biggest mistake is NOT snapping it in half, and letting it repair itself. I wouldn't have had nearly as much bleaching of leaves I think. This week, and I'm assuming because nearly all chlorophyll was depleted from her fan leaves, I didn't notice much of any change from last week. Her buds seemed to be about the same mass, and the stigmas still had the same ratio of red to white coloration. I suspected she was dead, or dying, or just...done. Not all genetics will transform all of their stigmas from white, and not all genetics will have their trichomes turn amber. So, I did a few things to confirm that suspicion. First, I looked at her trichomes on various buds closely with a microscope. They were almost all cloudy, with very very few amber. That told me that she was at an acceptable level of ripeness, even if she could have went longer, assuming she was still alive. Next, I removed the pea gravel mulch I was using in the raised bed, so I could get a closer look at the soil she was growing in, and more specifically, her roots. The soil, although moist a few inches deep, was not at the level I expected, and I think I have not been watering her enough. I don't think I'll be using a gravel mulch again. On the plus side, it did help prevent fungus gnats, as there was zero the whole grow, apart from an early week when I placed some solo cups to germinate on top of the bed, but after removing them, the fungus gnats disappeared with them. Also while inspecting the soil, I carefully dug down to inspect some of her primary roots. They were actually dry, despite the surrounding soil being moist. This could explain why she wasn't drinking much if any for the better part of the week. So, given her dry foliage, dry roots, and ripe-enough trichomes, I decided it was time to harvest her, earlier than expected. Let's also not forget that I was frightened this week with some high humidity scares, so growing longer, and possibly for no reason if she was dead or barely alive, was not in the cards. I've dealt with my fair share of bud rot before, and I would rather try what I have of her now, than to wait the extra week or so for her to be fully ripe. So, that is what I did, on the last day of the week -- I chopped her down, cut off some larger fan leaves, and hung her upside down. This, of course, was after removing the raised bed. It took me a while to empty about 45 gallons of soil so I could move it, but in doing so, I noticed a lot of beneficial critters, and nothing bad. Such critters included small centipedes, which feed on other insects, and soil mites which eat dead organic matter. I set the tent to dry at around 72F and 55 RH. And now we wait for about a week before trimming. One thing is for sure -- I am very proud of this grow, despite all these flaws. She smells incredible -- like pure citrus emanating throughout my house. This is a very strong-smelling plant. It’s pretty cool to see how a plant can grow so fast! My nephew told me this could really be therapeutic for me so far so good! I’m new to all of this and I’m starting to want to learn more I have about 9 more seeds left all auto. Photos kind of have me intimidated with all of the videos I’ve seen on YouTube…if you have any advice on them please send it my way. I want to know more about photoperiods. -Uncle Cabbage

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 3g of straight well water via garden hose as usual. 6/26- Our summer is here and we're under an early heat wave this week with daytime temp's hitting the mid to upper 90's ℉ with heat indexes in the low 100's ℉... in short, IT'S FNG HOT!🔥🔥🔥 I'm watering the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo daily now with 5g of straight well water from the garden hose. I'm watering at sundown so that the water will have some time to soak down into the soil before the heat evaporates it. The coating of straw that I previously spread over the soil around her base has helped a lot as well. 6/28- Our weather is HOT now with heat indexes over 100℉ so I'm watering the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod every day with 5g of straight well water from the garden hose in the late afternoon once the plant is in the shade. Other than the ever present leaf hoppers, which love the leaves but leave the flowers alone, and an occasional Japanese Beetle, there aren't any serious pest issues currently. The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod continues to have excellent color and vigor, continuing to add new growth and increase her height, it seems daily! 6/30- The weather continues to relentlessly bake everything outside... Week 3 has come and gone. I think the stretch is now over. I got roughly 8” of growth on top of my net. Hopefully all 8” fills up with nice bud. I counted over 150 top bud sites. Goal is the get at least 14 grams per bud site. The frost production on this plant is out of control. Week three and you can already see trichomes producing on the fan leaves. I have been having to take off close to 50-70 leaves a week in order to keep proper airflow. She is so packed in the net I'm afraid of low airflow once they start getting fat. Only downfall so far is this plant develops loads of leaf. Hopefully that stops during the bulking phase. I keep bumping the nutrients up and she is taking every bit of it. Currently at 2.8ec. She was drinking tons during the stretch but has now gone back to normal amounts. I’m reverting back to every other day watering since last water I got nearly 50% run off. So far the smell is exactly like you open a bag of fruity pebbles. It’s not quite there when you open the tent but once you rub some bud it’s undoubtedly fruity pebbles smell. Hopefully we start seeing the mass put on in the next few weeks. 1/3 of the way done with flower already and she has been doing great.

Soaked 7.27 for 36ishhrs, into paper towel for 12 hrs then into a solo cup with greentree garden supply pro ultra (coco/perlite). First feed was a diluted leftover feed from my other auto youngins. Basically about 1 ml/g of grow, 7ml/g humid acid, 1ml/g more roots, 1ml/g orca, cannazyme, hydroguard and a sprinkle of living organics in the nutes and on the top of the coco. Usually the ppm will be higher than I want it so I just dilute with r/o water until I'm down to 200-250. It makes it so I cant be accurate on ratios so that's why I'm tellin ya, but it's how I always do it no matter what nutes I use. This is from the same seed pack I grew out 3 years ago so let's see if these have some longevity.

Very happy overall, had some difficulties hitting the sweet spot through the cycle but managed to pull it through brilliantly at the end. This is definitely a very deserty and cookie like strain. Oven baked freshness!
