hey all, let's do an experiment with budswelling and without ! i know it will not be exact science but i will give some insight if it works or not. i have got 2 C.banana and 2Royal Gorilla on 1 plant of each sort i have done my budswelling so we can compare both strains and the effect at the end of harvest to see if it makes a difference or not. in my believe it makes a difference but i can not prove it maybe this will give an idea if it makes a difference or not. also i have put an video on how i do the budswelling with scissors or with fingers. i prefer to do it with fingers it's a lot quicker then with scissors. You need to do this on al the buds not only on top. Some say you need to do this every week but i only do it after 3or 4 weeks into flowering.

Harvesting An ELEPHANT !!! And after 118 day from seed and 101 from wen she started her mix veg/flowering process, i cant say for sure but i am starting to believe that this auto world do veg, then veg and flower in conjunction for a wile and only after they a wile they move to a flowering stage completely but thats another post another day lol today was harvest day for this Auto Elephant from SSSC , and let me tel you she is a delight with huge fruits, so big that i normally cut and hang the all plant and for this i did not take the risk of doing that and getting bud rot , better safe than sorry, so what i broke her in smaller peaces and put it all in the rack. Now not much to do than waiting for it to get around 10/15% humidity and jar with it all. Our Test #3 has already made me fall in love. It is one of those plants that is doing well I would already promote it but to avoid the risk of speaking too soon, let's see what grass it will give us. For each strain we have at least two plants there is also a specimen that is growing straight that you don't see in the photo for now for each strain of her I have two both excellent. The plant that you see in the photo responded excellently to topping from the beginning and did not suffer the stress that this technique brings the fertilizers for flowering that go from a few days after I made the switch to mid-week (it is therefore considered vegetative the plant is still understanding that it is going to flower). This plant like all the other photoperiodic ones has been worked with a topping x16 buds, simply repeating the topping technique without doing anything else than cleaning the leaves from time to time and now the branches that I believe do not give me good flowers at the bottom. The 16 buds are perfectly aligned and it is very regular in growth. The fertilizers for flowering have helped us to return in a very short time to a good balance now we go straight to making great buds. We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic. The plant has been flowering for 3 days, in the diary I leave it indicated as the last week of vegetative but we move on to the fertilizers for flowering. We have now moved on to the early flowering program that keeps the same additives Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Now the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom with which I get along very very well even more than Alga Grow that sometimes I have to understand well how to dose in some particular cases ( topping). Probably try to prepare the soil with Plagron Super Mix or with the Zamnesia Pellet. I'm highly impressed with the autopots so far. It's very unlikely that I would have given the plants as much water as they have taken up and they would have suffered, as I was out of town for 3 days and they went through over 10gal while I was gone. Closed the valve on the autopots Fri evening and started up a batch of tea (about 2 gal) with kelp, alfalfa, bat guano, worm castings and, of course, Real Growers Recharge. I'll let the tea bubble for at least 24 hours and then split it between all 4 girls on Sunday just after topdressing and just before lights off. Autopots will get turned on at this time too. Everyone loved the change in light cycle and are starting to stretch nicely. Put up smaller squared trellis netting to spread out the bud sites as they continue to stretch. BBM1 is just a big, healthy girl and really think she's gonna give me a great harvest. BBM2 is filling out nicely and I think both the Cheese and Gruntz will need some tying down to keep the canopy as even as possible, even with the scrog. So anxious for the Blueberry smells to kick into gear.

25.05. 🌿 Day 25 – Stretching Begins! The plants have noticeably stretched since the last update — a clear sign that they’re moving deeper into the vegetative phase. The vertical growth is picking up pace, but they’re still looking strong and well-balanced. Despite the rapid upward growth, structure remains solid, with thick stems and healthy leaf development. The 19L pots and BioGrow feeding seem to be doing their job — no signs of deficiencies or stress. Light distance and environment are being carefully managed to control the stretch and keep the plants from getting too lanky. So far, they’re adapting really well. 💪 Overall: they’re thriving! —————————————————————— 27.05.
