Heavy defoliation taking place this week as I am trying to expose the bud sites to more lights. I am taking out most major fan leaves and leaves that are blocking bug sights. I also somewhat lilipopped these plants to remove the larfy bud sites that we being produced at the bottom of the plant to focus more top bud site growth.

Plant grew well and healthy, Buds are dense and good smelling. the aroma reminds me on that strawberry drops the red and white striped ones. In the final week of flowering, I reduced the light cycle to 11 hours and dimmed the lamp to 80% to keep temperatures lower. The light hits the plant with approximately 900 PPFD. The plants are being dried on the stem at around 21°C (70°F) and 60% relative humidity.

It was fun growing Critical+ 2.0 and really recommend it for any new grower who would love to experience his first smoke from his personal garden

SOOO GANG UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!! Got the grow bars in today and they will added to the tent, they are 90w Led grow lights 4 feet long with Banks of Sanan Epistar Smd 2835 and Osrams. PPFD of 198 @ 18” added to the power already there and we got a heck of a light setup. The lights are of great quality and have a three year warranty. Next big investment will mostly be an Apogee Light Meter, tired of fucking around and playing the Guessing game with “Lux meter” on the cell phone. After we acquire the ppfd meter the next step will be acquiring parts to build our own grow light. Also planning on experimenting with light moving technology next grow so we can avoid some of hot spot issues known to be present with Cobs. Lights lights everywhere lights what the heck is going on here? Well the whole idea is to have a ppfd that is as close as possible to 1000 or higher Par/ppfd at 5 foot by 5 foot. Ladies will burned but yields will be large. No guessing or estimating yet. Taking a wait and see approach. The purple gelato mutant is still showing signs that she may indeed be going into flower. Not overly concerned, just kind of cool thing. So all said and done we will try to run 6 side bar lights. 4 cheaper led bars equaling about 180w with 2 Chinese high quality led that are also equal to about 180w. There is also a 2000w Cob grow light with 4 cobs and a bunch of leds draws about 400 watts. And finally a Parfactworks 500w grow light draws about 150 watts. These are all give or take numbers so really I could be drawing 1000 watts or I could be drawing 800 watts. Not really concerned about the power draws we are after bigger weights. And without investing in a new grow light this was our best course of action. Pleased with how everything is progressing and looks great. So I'm actually kind of not use to plants growing this fast every plant is showing gender now in some way. The mutant is most likely not pushing into flower. But again I'm not use to plant growth this fast... Umm #@$% you Advanced Nutrients I used them for half a year and never really had anything to compare them too. SMD 2835 – A cheaper led fairly efficient rated at 2.2umols/j with a 3 year warranty offers good value to performance. Comparable to Lg 5830s and Samsung 301h(b) But not as energy efficient. So I definitely remember now why I put these stupid jiffy peat moss pellet things away awhile ago. They are the worst!!! There either swamped wet or rock hard dry. Really hard to keep them in between. Lol I had to take them out of my cloning machine do to the fact they where just to wet for this stage. I usually use rock wool cubes but I ran out of them and decided to try these stupid things again. I was able to get her sprouted though and I will be moving her to a 3 gal DWC bucket as soon as I build them. For watering, I’ve just been dunking them halfway in my cloning reservoir and letting them soak up some water for a sec and pull them out. It seems to be keeping them wet but not soaked, and there good for about 24Hrs untill she is dry and needs more. I will upload some more pics later in the week once I get her in a DWC bucket. Into week 10, well past the estimated 6 - 8 weeks to harvest time from the online stats, looks like i have a few more weeks to go until they are ready. There has been some expected leaf drop from the lower canopy, the signs of it autumning off are appearing, but all is going well and the buds are developing nicely so far. I started a timelapse a couple of weeks ago in the tent and i've left it to run untill the end of the grow, will be interesting to see how it turns out, i'll upload that on the harvest page. 20/11 Had a slight misshap as i was inspecting the plants and bent a stem over 😱 I utilized two matchsticks and some masking tape to splint it up again, the repair is holding nicely 😬 I've documented the repair and uploaded the video for posterity. 23/11 Fed 2 plants 1/4 tsp molasses 1ltr filtered water @6pH, ec200 with just molasses, just to see if there is any positive effect. Trichomes are just starting to appear. Defoliated the lower canopy, cutting all the smaller buds not getting any light and upper fan leaves to allow more light and energy to hit the main buds.

Continuing to feed compost tea each Wednesday with added Bio Pk. Plain water all other feedings. Her buds are really starting to swell nicely, they are nice and dense already. I am lightly defoliating to uncover any bud that is looking shaded. No issues currently, seems to be growing fantastically.
