They all got very heavy and big buds, the plant/stems do not have just a chance to support the weight of the flowers on their own. Since I'm in lack of flower/smoke material currently, I chopped on D51 already one tree. Going to take care of the remaining in the upcoming days and will post next update once everything is dried. Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Veg36, están creciendo bastante bien, a esperar unos días para un próximo riego. Veg38, ya hay que revisar amarras y ver si hay hojas abanico tapando algún brazo, siguiente riego era en 1 o 2 días más. Veg40, se regó con EC 2.5 y pH 6.0, se cortaron un par de hojas, hay que seguir haciendo LST para lograr una altura uniforme. Veg41, algunas hojas están mostrando quemadura en la puntas por exceso de nutrientes, los siguientes riegos tendrán que ser más suaves.

Week 9 flower is coming to an end and the GG#4 still has about a week to go. She definitely looks done, but the heads are mostly cloudy, no amber, which is fine for me but I have a couple others that are finishing up so I’ll chop them all at the same time. A few nanners pooped near then end, think I had the light intensity to high and far along into flower and that’s also why the SD had foxtail like growth, just displayed the stress in different ways, but what the hell do I know lol 😂. Flowers seem hard and dense! Stripped most the large leaves that I could easily get at and just watering still letting the soil stay a bit on the dryer side, but consistent. Steadily lowering the humidity the best I can and manage, but it’s a bit difficult as I took down the humidifier to clean and get ready for harvest and got the dehumidifier going, but got another cold snap coming through and it’s dry outside and the house heat is running, don’t have a clean filter for the humidifier now, trying to get it right, right to the end, but Mother Nature is making my unnatural grow difficult lol. 2024.09.12 D64 Its been two busy week, as i trim the 1 pond mother, get aknowledge that my wife use my grow sniper two pruned is badly infested rose bush, since 2 week and never proper clean it whith alcool.😱😱😱😷 in result a massive PM & mithe contamination in my grow tent... 😱😭😷😭 all plant have been shoot with H2O2 at 0.5% and set ouside for 2 day, wich turn to be rainy as f***, until i clean and serilized everything, twice and run the hepa filter .😷😰 the plant look ok, lightly over wartered, but no more pest or PM sign as they return in the tent.. 3 days later PM hardly bonce back, no choice to use more agressive treatment so they all have been shoot with saffer's defender 3 in 1. after 3 shoot in 24h and another tent desinfection we should have get rid of it 🙏 8 day laters everything look fine👍, all damage leaf have been removed, i also prune some unrelevant lower and inner grow

I guess due to the colder weather, she really starts to express her color and it's so amazing! I can't believe how beautiful this outdoor automatic is and how fast the colors are changing. As you can see from the photo, the buds are getting a bit heavy, so I tied them back in place. You might also see that one of the side branches, which broke during the storm, starts to let their leaves hanging. I moistened the point where the stem broke and see how she will do tomorrow. If it get's more dry, than I'm hanging it in the bathroom (which doesn't get used atm if you're wondering) Anyways I'll trim off the leaves with no trichomes on it and give her the very last week before harvesting on Monday.

Well I configured my tent to run two 750s in air cooled hoods I have some impressive airflow using air mover fans I bought off of a hard ware store as you seen in my other video the light set up.

Opting for low-stress training over topping, we're guiding their growth gently to maximize their potential. The plants have gracefully reached our SCROG, and with two already skillfully trained, they are demonstrating adaptability and robustness. Through the canopy, we see an even spread of foliage, indicating that our LST approach is on point. The structure of the plants is sturdy, showing that the careful maneuvering through the SCROG mesh has been well received. The greenery is lush, leaves are perked up, reaching for the light—signs that our Watermelon Candy plants are in their element and thriving. Our environmental management has mirrored the successful strategies implemented with our Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding strains. Daytime conditions are meticulously controlled, with the Tent-X system maintaining VPD within the ideal range for healthy plant activity. However, as we've noted with our other strains, our nighttime VPD control presents a challenge. The data indicate a discrepancy in maintaining optimal humidity levels when the lights are off, suggesting that our current setup is not fully regulating the environment during these crucial hours. The intention to integrate the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is a move towards rectifying this issue, with the aim to achieve a seamless 24-hour environmental control. The transition to this enhanced system will ensure that our Watermelon Candy plants receive the same level of consistent care throughout their entire growth cycle. Their current robust state and the proactive steps we are taking to fine-tune their environment have set a strong foundation for the weeks to come.
