Germination was pretty good, we lost one of each strain. We soaked for 24hr then wet paper towel for 24hr then in a tray and dome for 2 days under a sun blaster 50 watt light for the first week or so

no signs of pests during the grow. only one time i had ants trying to infest one plant but easily got rid of them by using cinnamon around the stem. she grows easy and is fun to train, you don't have to be an expert. in the late flowering i got some budrot in both plants and stalled the harvest by inspecting and cutting it away daily, haven't lost a lot due to it. i would recommend this strain as she is a high trichome producer, big yielder and easy to grow plant that gives nice buds with a good smell and greath high. she is a strain that makes you talkative, giggly and euphoric and is surely gonna give you a good sleep. be sure to go easy on her as she is a strong breed. an amazing strain to grow. she creates colourfull purple buds filled with trichomes that is really good for the chilling occasions, be sure not to have to go somewhere as she will last long and prepare for a joyfull evening with lots of laughing and good talks. i'll post more pictures after the drying process!

Another freezing cold week !! Before having this plant, i thought that a plant would never survive with this temperatures... but this Afghan Kush proved im wrong, whats amazing because this plants strenght is remarkable, the buds i noticed, are not developing as fast as in September/October, basic grower logic but we are having between 8-14 ºC during the day and 2-5ºC at night.. Wider range of colours, i spot like Purple, Deep green, and even shades of Violet and blue, its incredible :D Last feedings, finished like in the middle of this week and the buds developement degree is telling me, its flush time ... Spotted a few white aphids, but only on the leaves, so not a problem.. Having in mind the temperatures they are not lasting so much hahaha its the good thing Last weeks of life, and i suppose she will be yellowing more during the next week. F29, se comenzó con el riego de engorde, con una EC 2.6~2.8 y pH 6.4, se han quitado un par de hojas bloqueando sitios de cogollos, los cogollos están muy resinosos, súper frosty, el olor está súper fuerte también.

Lights to 11.5 hrs, temps dropped, light raised, let's finish! I think next week it's time to cut them. More branches are falling over from #2 (back right) and it's yellowing nicely. #3 (front right) could use 2 or 3 more weeks but I don't think I will take it that long. It's a low yielder but its structure is very sativa. Smells good. #1 (back left) and #4 (front left) smell roughly the same, #1 makes very heavy branches and dense tops. Its looks are deceiving, hiding its yield under big leaves. Thanks for the interest. I hope your grow is as lucky as this current one. My Rainbow Melon plant is thriving! It's the second biggest in the tent right now and growing like crazy. The smell is still amazing, too – a really sweet, gas aroma that fills the whole room. I'm excited to see how big those buds get! The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this past week! We've been hitting that sweet spot of 70 degrees during the day, perfect for getting outside and soaking up some sun. Then, it cools down to a comfy 50 degrees at night, which is ideal for sleeping with the windows open. I've been loving all the fresh air! I finally got around to building that little wooden planter for my windowsill. It was a fun project, and now my regular plants have a nice new home. It really brightens up the room, and I'm thinking of adding some herbs to it soon. Maybe I'll even try growing some basil!

Processed 2 plants and took some colas off one of the remaining plants make sure my washing volume is consistent. Holy smokes some amazing rosin. Consistency and terps are loud and stinky. Very potent effects. This mfker will put you on ur ass. The fresh press rosin is just outta this world. This strain dumps trichromes. What a great experience. Half way done and I have nearly 80 grams of rosin. Insane! Business is boomin

So I did a panick check 1 day after week 2 started, due to weather CHANGING AGAIN!!! 😡 I'm using 3 different weather apps, 2 are approved by the govermental weather authorities however it's called in English.. And after each app told me we were about to have a sunny week, the weather changed THE DAY I PUT THE LADIES IN!!! IMAGINE! Climate change is absolutely devestating, the weather doesn't change frequently on a weekly, but rather on a daily/hour basis. This is annoying me to a point where I think I won't do many outdoors again in the future. Probably will try to find another indoor opportunity. North Germany SUCKS. I had to waste so many badass quality, super frosty buds already due to botrytis and/or mold infections. It's just not fun anymore. All the time, work and money I put into this is not really paying off. Indoors is no problemo at all, outdoors whatsoever is not possible in North Germany, unless you don't give a fuck about losing many plants to mold.

She's stretching now, reaching for the sky. Nine centimeters taller this week, a full 93 centimeters now. The leaves are thick and lush, a tangled mess of green. I spend my days pruning, trimming, and coaxing her into submission. She's a stubborn one, this girl, but strong. She'll be ready soon.

Well it's finally time to cut her down. It's day 95 post germination for this lady, and she's at maximum potency. All trichomes are cloudy with about 5-10% amber & she's giving out a mixed palet of aromas. I can smell a very distinct mix of lemon, urea, skunk, and spice. It was relatively easy plant to grow. I started in a super soul which ran out of nutrients early and I had to supplement with bottled nutrients. Going forward I'm going to have to put more thought into my initial soil composition. Please note: I'm only estimating the 'Wet Bud Weight'; for the purposes of this diary I estimated 12-16 ounces. Cannabis can loose up to 75% of its mass during the drying phase and based on past experience, I am expecting 4-6 ounces of finished flower. Dry/cure process: 1. Cut entire plant down by main stock 2 hang upside down in a dark room with controlled humidty and temps.... - Temperature should range from 67-72 °F, and my humidity will range between 57-60%. 3. Full trim complete after 8-11 days of drying. 4. Stick in Mason jars indefinitely with 2-way Boveda humidty packs (62%). 4-20.
