New update on week 2; things are going well so far, transplanted the seedlings to 0.75l pots with 60% coco-coir, about 30% worm castings, and perlite. I've also added some nutrihemp (about 12gr) which is a earth organic fertilizer containing some micro-nutrients and seaweed minerals. Keeping a average humidity around 60-75% by a wet towel underneath the pots, temps are nice and stable between 19 to 22C (66.2F - 71.6F). Also slowly started on nutrient feeding. Received a message that my R-DWC (hydro) has been dispatched, along i ordered 5 huge 200mm ceramic air stones for maximum dissolved oxygen. I am thinking to switch to LEDS soon, stay tuned.

Quebec Blast is growing good. I am doing a solution change about every 4 days. Which is not bad since it is only a gallon switch, and I do all 4 plants in this grow at once. 8/26 FED TODAY. 2 GALLONS TO THE GARDEN. THE WATERING CAN I USE IS ABOUT A HALF GALLON SO THAT'S WHAT A NORMAL PLANT HAS BEEN GETTING. Wow. What a week I had last week. I'm hoping things are going up from here. It's overcast but we have a 90% chance of rain. Thunderstorms. I'm wondering if I should put my back tarp up. The wind doesnt seem too bad so I'll play it by ear. The remaining plants seem to be doing good to me. I wanted to let the soil dry out but I NEEDED to feed. Buds are popping up everywhere and increasing in size. Earwigs still seemed to lollipop the interior branches (mostly larfy stuff but still). I attached a picture so people can see what I mean. I'm getting hit on all fronts but I'm still kicking! I'll update as I go. Some pictures won't upload. I'll have to do it later. Oh and my ph is on point for once. I tested all plants a bunch of different places and readings were 6.6 to 7.3 at the highest. 8/27 Rained last night but not as bad as I thought it would. We are supposed to have some good weather coming up so I'm hoping my medium will get a chance to dry put. Still liking the liquid kool bloom. I'll up the dose next feed. I'm going to need to do another application of plant doctor this week too. It's about time for a BT application as well. I see moths flying off when I check early in the morning and I've observed some pillar damage. I'm slightly worried about soul going anaerobic. The color of the gdps are too lime green for my liking but our weather has been horrid. I never remember having to deal with shit like this. The branch that was all drooped with fusarium wilt has one (the closest to the stalk) shoot that has repaired itself. That gives me hope but I really should just amputate that branch. I guess I'm just nervous because of the reaction I had last time. Granted I've cut tons and tons of branches off in the past and prune things they didn't have whatever pathogen these do. Septoria is still there on one of the GDPs but it seems to be doing okay. I'm SLIGHTLY worried about the change in color on my big NYCSA. It's lost some of its vibrancy. I think it's kinda normal. I'm sure it has some PM (which I'm hoping plant doctor and the silica will help repress) but I think it will be a heavy yielding plant. Sun's poking out. The little clones I took are exploding in growth. They might not yield much but I'm glad I didn't just chuck them like I was going too. 8/28 Things are still looking good! We got some sunshine yesterday and the sunshine out today. Buds are really starting to form and colas are taking their shape. I'm slightly concerned with the coloring of my NYCSA but it started flowering later than the others so senescence may be behind. I may have lost half this year but looking at other diaries and attitudes of soms others I'm pretty fucking lucky. I didn't have much time this morning so I'll update later. I need to keep up with my IPM and do BT treatment and follow up with a second dose of plant doctor. 8/29 Super rushed morning. Only had time to shake the dew off the plants and snap a couple quick pictures. I lowered the growbig this week. I think that was a mistake. Plants are flowering like crazy. My NYCSA doesn't seem as vibrant green as it was. I may up feeding to twice a week or at least give them a little growbig if I need to water. I want tge medium to stay dry for a while. I also needcto cut that dead branch. I'm just afraid of a situation line before where the whole plant died. My anxiety disorder really hampers my growing ability. I qorry far too much. I should just cut it off right now. I've also seen pillar damage so I'm going to need to do a BT spray. I have the other organocide that's the 3 in 1 but I can't use it in flower. I'll just have to stagger applications. Either that or do another root drench or "sprench" and a foliar with the BT on another day. I have WPM on the garden and I'm pretty sure septoria. This plant was perfect though. I'm afraid it might be getting sick. Either way it'd an extremely resilient strain. The little 9lb kush I have in a 3 gallon is flowering the fastest. It really fuckihgcsucks I lost those massive plants. Judging by this "clone" I took off the other clone (I know) this strain wouldve been the first to finish. EDIT: Went back over to check the medium and do some slight defoliation. I inspected the stalks and the dead branch. The dead branch has a small indent (from breakage, insects or rot) where the branch connects to the stalk. I've seen this before but had no problems. However THIS branch seems to he coming out of the stalk RIGHT where the rot is. I cut the other one off that ENORMOUS 9lb Kush and it was dead a few hours later. I talked to my father who has degrees in biology and forestry (among other things) and he said he couldn't really see the harm in leaving it. I am worried that a cutworm mightve gotten in bit I don't see any evidence of any borer insect. Under that stem there is more "bark" and other stuff but nothing like a borer makes. I'm going back over tonight to treat with either BT or Plant Doctor. Haven't decided which. Probably the plant doctor. 8/30 Didn't have time for pictures. Large NYCSA NOW has fusarium wilt. Either I'm the most unlucky grower in our area or my plants got dosed with fusarium. After the research I've done I've cone to the conclusion that this season will be a complete loss. Maybe the two small separate cuttings will make it through flower. The rest is just a waiting game to see if fusarium kills it before they finish flowering. Even if it doesn't then I don't know if I would want to smoke the flowers. I'm shopping online for grow equipment. I'm going to do some indoor this winter. Wow this feels like a kick in the nuts. I'm a good dude. Like I said I'm just either the unluckily grower around or my plants had a little help. Who knows. EDIT: I treated everything with Pkant Doctor again. I'll feed tomorrow and see if some miracle happens and I actually get something 8/31 I added a few pictures so folks can see what fusarium looks like and how it progresses. As you can see it killed a branch and is progressing to the next and so on until the plant is typically dead. No need to get too scientific on the mechanism of action. I FED 2 gallons today. Still kept growbig low dosing.

Ich habe mittlerweile einen Honeywell-Lüfter auf Stufe 2 hinzugeschaltet, um Schimmel zu vermeiden. Der Lüfter läuft jetzt auch mit AKF, den ich die Wochen davor nicht benötigt habe. Die Pflanzen bekommen weiterhin 3 Mal in der Woche CalMag (1 ml auf 5 Liter Wasser). Seitdem habe ich keine Probleme mehr mit braunen Blattspitzen. Die Pflanzen haben alle die gleiche schön dunkelgrüne Blattfarbe. Die Feuchtigkeit und Hitze, die die Box produziert, ist unerträglich. Die Stoftöpfe lassen gut verdunsten, bin aber trotzdem sehr zufrieden. Ich bin der Meinung, dass die Pflanzen in den Töpfen einfacher zu groß sind. Week 10, so from today I stopped watering the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and on Saturday no more light as well. Sunday is harvest day finally. Not much changed, I raised up the water with 25ml so the Purple Punch gets 200ml 2 x a day. That's all, since last week I started giving 13 hours darkness and 11 hours light and from Monday will be 12/12 after I harvested the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and I can use the tent only for her. Fertilization will happen on the same days. Sunday fun day, Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is harvested. Purple Punch left alone. From tomorrow I will switch the light schedule 12/12. End of the week Purple Punch is 43 cm.

Topped the plant in day 29 from seed. Nutrients concentration is dropping 10-20 PPM every 1-2 days. PH is drifting up every day, I have to drop the PH every 1 to 2 days. Light intensity for this week is at 46% ( Fluence Spydr 2i) . After toppling I dropped the light intensity to 36% for a day.

February 2, 2021 (Week 4, Day 29): The plants grew enough overnight to top at the third node. This is the second and last time I'll be topping these plants - this is the Nebula method of manifolding. I also took off the second node of each growth stem as well as the original fan leaves. I've pressed them in my plant press to save the memories of my experience with my first grow. I also redid the LST on every plant. The new growth sites I've pinned to the fan leaves. I really enjoy doing LST, it's quite therapeutic to figure out just how to support the plant without harming it. I think I am getting great lateral growth so far. The main growth stems are swelling a lot at the bases. Medium is still wet from yesterday - lightly tilled about a half inch of top soil. I've turned down the humidity another 5% this week. I'll keep it there most likely until I start the flowering cycle. Averaging 60% rH and 78℉. Plants are happy, and I am happy. 😸 February 3, 2021 (Week 4, Day 30): Plants are looking good this morning. The nitrogen toxicity in Unknown 2 is beginning to subside. Now Unknown 1 seems to be having a nitrogen toxicity as well - slight leaf curling at the ends with a very lush and dark green color. I am assuming this soil is still very hot. As I've lowered the humidity I suspect more nutrients are being sucked in through the roots instead of transpiration through the leaves. I think the plants are going to take a little bit to get used to the hot soil, but I bet once they do they'll be as happy as ever. Medium is still slightly moist this morning, no watering. I tilled a half inch of top soil again to keep everything aerated. Most likely will water tomorrow or the next day. My LST seems to be holding nicely. I tied down Unknown 2's first growth tips as the fan leaves have finally straightened out after the topping yesterday. New growth tips are emerging nicely from the third node of each lateral stem. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. Nothing else to report for today. February 4, 2021 (Week 4, Day 31) : Growth looks good overnight. I think this second topping is confusing the plants a bit. Lots of bulking of the stems, but not much lateral growth. I have a feeling they'll take off over the next few days. They're still growing really well. I posted a grow question last night having to do with little white bead-like structures growing on the surfaces of the leaves on every plant. I was concerned it may be a mold or fungus starting to grow. I did a bunch of research and it seems to be early trichome development called "sessile glands". I still have the question open and I am trying to get confirmation. Really hoping if they're trichomes that's a good sign that these plants are going to be frosty. I uploaded some pictures to show the development. Over night they started to grow everywhere on the leaves - hopefully they really are just trichomes and I am being over-vigilant. Better safe than sorry. I watered the plants today without nutrients; 3 liters per plant pH'd to 5.8. Runoff sitting at ~6.5 pH now which is much better. I'll continue to run 5.8 pH solution until I see the pH of the soil come down to at least 6.2-6.3. Tomorrow I'll most likely have to defoliate a bit and tie down the second sets of growth stems, as they're beginning to stretch and grow vertically. Averaging 60% rH and 76℉. Happy growing all! 😸 February 5, 2021 (Week 4, Day 32): The plants are exploding with growth now. I defoliated the fan leaves from the first node on every plant and tied down the growth stem for lateral growth. These plants are meaty as hell. The stems are thickening really quickly and I am getting tons of foliage and stem growth. The third nodes are starting to come around. I think I figured out the "mold" issue I thought was starting. They're definitely trichomes, not mold. I touched the leaves that were sparkling and my fingertips got sticky, oily, and reeked of weed - so that's great news. The smell in my grow room is getting stronger every day. While defoliating this morning I found my first pre-flowers on Gelato 1! It looks like all the plants are female, but Gelato 1 threw some pretty pistils at me to get my attention. Seems like the plants are reaching maturity. Depending on growth over the next few weeks it may be time to switch to flower soon! I am aiming for about 16" in veg before switching. Seeing these pre-flowers made me so anxious for flowering. Unknown 1 and Unknown 2 are doing great as well - all the signs of the nitrogen toxicity have subsided. Unknown 2 has more trichomes on the leaves than any of the other plants, and its foliage is a beautiful deep green. They are either different phenotypes or different strains entirely as the two of them are growing and looking quite different. Unknown 1 is much lankier so I suspect a different strain. Unknown 2 is especially squat and I suspect it's 100% indica or close to it. Medium is still wet. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. No other news today. February 6, 2021 (Week 4, Day 33): Last 24 hours I have seen at least an inch of lateral growth per growth stem on each plant. These girls are absolutely loving life from the looks of it, they're growing incredibly fast. I redid a bunch of LST today. Had to move every tie up one node. Medium is still moist. Lightly tilled half inch of top soil. Gelato 1 is shooting out more pre-flowers. Thanks to my wife we have new friends that have joined us in the smart pots. 😸 Averaging 60% rH and 75℉. Happy weekend everyone! February 7, 2021 (Week 4, Day 34): These girls are chugging right along. Tons of great lateral growth every 24 hours at this point. Having to adjust LST pretty much every morning to accommodate for the crazy growth. Gelato 1 is a freak of nature - the fan leaves are gigantic. Defoliated again today; took the fan leaves from the third node of each plant. Will be defoliating the first node of the secondary growth stems tomorrow most likely. Medium is slightly moist. Tilled the soil again. Will be watering tomorrow morning most likely. There's still a little dropping at the ends of the leaves so I will hold off on nutrients until all nitrogen toxicity has subsided. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. Nothing else for today. February 8, 2021 (Week 4, Day 35): Watered today with 3 liters of 5.8 pH filtered water per plant (no nutrients) - runoff around ~6.7-6.8 pH. Will most likely resume nutrients upon next feeding depending on how the plants look. Defoliated entire first node from center four growth stems and tied down third nodes. Readjusted outside LST. The plants are almost to the outside of the pot which is when I'll switch to vertical growth. Unknown 1 is very close to being let loose, it's also pre-flowering now. Gelato 1 is now covered in pre-flowers - it's definitely a happy plant. Unknown 2 is still the runt of the group but also appears to be almost 100% indica by how stout it is. It's showing sex but no pistils yet. All three plants seem to responding well to mainlining and the stress isn't making them skip a beat. Stems are getting huge. I downloaded an app on my phone to check how well my lights are doing and, if the readings are accurate, I am very impressed with these lights. I've read cannabis can handle around ~65 DLI, so I am right where I need to be. Averaging 60% rH and 78℉. That ends week 4 of veg. Time is flying. Hoping to switch to flower in two weeks for a total of six weeks in veg. Getting super stoked to switch over! Happy growing everyone! 👽

5/23/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Flower (Day 110 overall) (Day 49 of Flower) There was a couple of small super small sucker buds on the lower stocks that needed to be cleaned off but that was it. Just watching them Flower!! 5/24/2023 Week 7- Day 2 of Flower (Day 111 overall) Tucked a few fan leaves below lower buds but didn't see any blatant offenders that needed to be removed. I typically do start my checks in Week 8 but since this is a new strain I decided to go ahead and do a Trichome check just to see what was what.. Just as I thought nothing but clear glassy Trichomes. I will check again in one week.... 5/25/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Flower (Day 112 overall) Just letting them grow today!! Smell is getting stronger I would say it is a hint of Pine and a heavier fruity smell. 5/26/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Flower (Day 113 overall) I did Nothing but took some pics and I enjoyed it!!!! It is nice to be able to just sit back and watch them on auto pilot.. :-) Tomorrow Water Change Day!! 5/27/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Flower (Day 114 overall) I admit it.. I had to defoliate a little bit.. I looked in while changing the water today and there were just a couple blatant offenders blocking the light from lower bud sites and those leaves they just had to go. Loving a few of these buds they are starting to beef out very nicely. I did start to setup my Dry space as well as did a Trichome Check today and the brown tips are coming in nicely. 5/29/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Flower (Day 116 overall) Found a few baby sucker buds trying to form so I removed them. Other than that I am enjoying watching her mature. I also started my Reverse of the Clone I took 6 weeks ago in Apr from #3. I am uploading footage of the reversing process for your viewing pleasure.
