Buds are fattening up pretty well and I've had to use more rubber garden wire and clips to keep the branches from bending over. Smell is increasing on the Northern Light but still a mild skunk on the Black Devil. Also gave the very last feeding on the plants this week so they will get nothing but water until the chop. I'm very happy with the microbe populations so I stopped feeding the sugars (molasses/agave) as the plants themselves don't get much out of them; that stuff is just for feeding the soil beasties. I had added some predatory mites several weeks ago to deal with some springtails, and the mites annihilated the population. I did find a developing larva though so there are still some around. Posted lots of microscope videos today.

Wk 5 was Steady Away, Explosive growth starting, Transplanted one from aero to coco and added Began the Scrog As you may have noticed, I Expanded the garden to give the coco girls some more room. The Dawg in the aero wasn't taking well at all, she hadn't really had a good innings from the beginning. I transplanted her into the coco and Fed her very week nutes..

She's been drinking a lot of water recently about a gallon a day with very little run off and the buds are starting to fatten up as a result. I'm gonna need to find a way to prop them up. So i don't get my heart broken again. Still producing frost. Each day im amazed every time I open the tent. The trichomes are about 5% amber so we still have 2 or 3 weeks to go. The struggle is real Although we've decided to use Gaia Green the next run Emerald Harvest has been great and definitely has a place in our garden.

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Jack Herer x Ruderalis Day 1 Sprout on Sept 16, 2019 @ about 8-9 pm- Canuk Seeds - Jack Herer Fem Autoflower September 13th at 6:30 pm: Planted in a 5 Gallon pot that was previously flushed, loaded with Gaia Green slow release nutrients and soaked down with a PH of 6.51. The pot has many fine roots remaining in it from my Amnesia XXL grow. I filtered through and took out a lot of the larger roots, while I tilled the soils with a fork and my hands until the coco medium was fluffy again. Lighting is a Phlizon 1000w LED/245 watt power draw, including 2 cob lights. It sits at about 25" from soil. During my "First Grow" of Amnesia XXL I had kept my lighting really low from the start. I wanted a shorter plant that allowed light access across the canopy tops and less popcorn bud. With this grow, I am going to keep the lights higher up until I see how she's taking off in height. I would rather she does not reach more than 20" ...for a few reasons. Another thing I'm going to do differently this grow.... In my Amnesia XXL grow, I played with her watering PH values during her first two weeks of germination and vegetation. I watered her at values of PH 5.8X-6.1, trying to bring the PH of the medium down. In my reading, plants are able to uptake nutrients at different PH levels. With this grow - I will be watering her in a PH range of 6.6 to 6.1 from start to finish.

Easy trim the buds are sticky and the smell earthy & fruity very nice 👍 The buds are less dense 7-10 days on the dry racks then smoke report next year Take care 😎

I think I am worrying myself more than I need too. The calicum defficiency has took over around a half of the fan leaves on 1 of the plants. I don't have much hope in a great yield from this one but fingers crossed my other 2 were caught in time. Have folder fed with a slightly more concentrated spray of cal mag and ph'd water. Whilst keeping a feed, plain ,feed schedule Unfortunately I don't currently have access to a ppm reader so can't say for sure exactly what the problem is but It seems the defficiency has slowed/stopped. Will continue to monitor.

slow start for the gorilla glue family (gorilla glue auto and the strawberry glue), the wedding cake from Barneys farms started surprisingly flowering after 3 weeks! :D The wedding and all others needed a lot of defoliating but now the wedding has slowed the growth on the leaves and focussed on stretching for some nice strength to the dense buds its growing :D Every other day the strawberry and gorilla need defoliating to stop the bud sites being covered.

Hello Folks 😎 7th week of flowering,I'm really amazed by these girls ! They are very productive, the smell is powerful, and look at the size of these colas ! 💪 They drink 4/5 liters every 5/6 days, for the last watering with fertilizer, I reduced the dose about 650 ppm my plan is to start the flush from day 50 until day 65 and from there, I'll see if I have to push a few more days while checking the color of the trichomes I think I'm going to enjoy this strain, already like the smell a lot 😻 Follow, like and comment if you enjoy it I also have a second diary with 2 Remo Chemo Peace Love & Weed 😍👊

Hello Diary. We’ve come to the last week. After a total of 64 days since both plants sprouted, we came to a harvest. 😎 I watched the trichomes develop every day, and when I noticed that they were all milky and occasionally brown, I decided to harvest. Since the harvest was after three days of the current week, I put week 9. as the last week of the cycle. The last time I watered it four days earlier, I wanted it not to be freshly watered before drying. I would also say that it is clear from the pictures that they look ready for the harvest. 😉 Since their roommate Green Gelato was still in the Box, I had to come up with a different way of drying. Otherwise I prefer to dry the whole plant hung upside down in a box. So I made a cardboard box in which I placed small hangers for which I would hang branches. I also drilled holes in the box on all sides to have air flow through the box. Since the box is too small for both plants, I cut off the 4 main branches of Hulkberry Auto # 2 that I put in the box while drying the rest in one piece on the balcony in the fresh air. I cut the branches and made a wet trimming, after which I hung the branches in the “dryer”. I placed the cardboard box in a Box where I plan to dry it for a minimum of 10 days. I am happy with the outcome although we will see the real situation after drying. 16/08/2020 - Harvest day - day 59. See you after drying with the final report.
