So, they streched a lot, I had to bend severely. And so quick, like 5 cms in a day! They touch the light, I had no more room... I did a late FIM on 2 of them.... emergency I finally found a way to get the lamp 5 cms higher. Lukily it has stabilized but still, top of the buds are at 5 cms from light!!!! That's why I decided to drop the power at 50% and I lower the day light to 16 hours.

The buds foxtailed a lot partly due to light stress but also due to genetics. This made it a bastard to trim. Unfortunately when drying the buds I noticed some mould had infected a few of the large buds which was a great shame but I'm still pleased with the yield.

After several days of deep research on the internet, I decided to get myself a small set up (24x24x48 inch tent) to grow cannabis indoor, if this works I will definitely get a bigger setup. NYC Diesel Auto, two girls who sprouted beautifully after using the cup of water and paper towel method. Now I have them on a lightly mixed soil on solo cups (500ml) under a 600W LED light. I am using 1/4 tsp/gal of FloraGro and Micro for now. Using the trio of nutrients from General Hydroponics, FloraGro, Micro and Bloom. Day 2 and one of the two have broken the soil, the other one is MIA...Update: Both girls are out and about! Day 3 to 5 - both girls are coming along just fine. If anyone with more expertise has an explanation for my little girl whos coming along much slower than her big sis, please let me know!! All tips and advice from experienced growers are welcomed!

Week 5 and here comes the fun part: let flower begin. These girls are hungrier than ever, like they'd grow forever if I let them. For a lot of you this might be "normal," but as a newbie I'm honestly blown away. I've never had plants this healthy and aggressive since I started growing. As expected, the tent has turned into a jungle. The only one still a bit "bullied" is the Runtz, she's been the shy one since day one, but she's catching up and finally found her rhythm. I'm slowly pushing VPD up and trying to sit around 1.1-1.2 kPa, and I added another fan under the canopy to keep airflow moving through this thick forest. Leaves keep expanding, calyxes are swelling, internodes are stacking, and they're clearly competing for light. First time in coco and I'll say it: this changed the way I look at growing. I've also been defoliating gradually to open up sites for the upcoming flowers. In one session I probably removed up to 15 leaves per plant, and they didn't even flinch. Still turgid, still pushing. I can't wait to see how this flowering run develops. Only downside is the limited space, I wasn't ready for this level of growth, especially after my past soil struggles. Good luck to everyone, and if you've got any tips for managing a fast-growing coco jungle in early flower, drop them below. Let's finish this run strong.

Mango Kush – Week 1 Flower (Week 5 from Seed) Stretch, sibling rivalry, and fine-tuning the environment Grower: Dog Doctor Strain: Mango Kush – Pheno #1 & Pheno #2 Light Systems: • ThinkGrow Model One LED (main canopy) • ThinkGrow ICL300 (inner canopy lighting) • Black Series 600W LED (shared space) Ecosystem: TrolMaster-controlled, partially hand-watered ⸻ 🌸 First Week Flower – Stretch Mode Engaged We’ve flipped the Mango Kush girls into flower, and while there are still no visible pre-flowers yet, the stretch has begun. • Pheno #1: Already tall and well-structured, pushing into her 8th–9th node with strong lateral branching. • Pheno #2: Started later, but is rapidly catching up—shorter internodes, lush leaves, and a determination to match her sister in size before flowers set. 📸 Both got a full studio photo session this week—looking flawless and healthy from every angle. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C (a bit high, AC incoming) • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C • Watering: Daily (when soil dries to ~25% moisture) ⸻ ⚠️ High Temperature Talk – Risks & Rewards Risks: • Higher temps speed up transpiration, meaning the plants take in water and nutrients faster, which can cause imbalances if not monitored. • Combined with high VPD, temps can push plants close to stress thresholds. Benefits (if managed well): • Boosted metabolism → faster stretch and branch growth before bud set. • With CO₂ at ~632 ppm, plants can tolerate slightly warmer temps without losing photosynthetic efficiency. 💡 Plan: An AC unit is on the way to lock temps into the sweet flower range of 26–28°C. ⸻ 💧 Why Daily Watering Works Here In these conditions, the Mango Kush girls are drinking daily. Letting the medium dry to about 25% before rewatering helps: 1. Prevent overwatering – Roots get oxygen between feedings. 2. Keep nutrients stable – Avoiding EC spikes/drops. 3. Match plant demand – Giving them exactly what they’re ready to drink. Nutrients remain tat Aptus Holland recipe, now for flower, just with slightly increased volume to match their thirst. ⸻ 🌱 Sibling Rivalry – Pheno #2’s Big Push Pheno #2 may have started late, but she’s been stacking nodes and leaves like she’s got something to prove. At this rate, she might hit flower at nearly the same size as her big sister. This will be a fun side-by-side to watch—same genetics, different timelines. ⸻ 💡 Inner Canopy Lighting – ThinkGrow ICL300 We’ve installed the ICL300, a bar-style LED designed to sit inside the canopy. Why it matters for Mango Kush: • Better Lower Buds – More intensity to shaded sites → denser flowers. • Even Growth – Less height difference between top and bottom buds. • Efficient Canopy Use – Every branch gets a fair shot at the light. In multi-strain grows, inner canopy lights help prevent the smaller plants from being overshadowed, literally. ⸻ 🔮 What’s Next • AC arrives → temps stabilize → optimal VPD range. • Expect pre-flower pistils to appear in the next 7–10 days. • Watch Pheno #2’s progress—will she match #1 before the stretch is over? • Continue using ICL300 to fill out the lower canopy for more even bud development. ⸻ 📣 Thank you for following the Mango Kush journey! Growing fine except one Original Glue that is lagging behind. Perhaps not worth doing but we will see after the stretch. - New addition to the tent , Purple lemonade FF ( for next run, clones ) Some LST 12/23 - pre flowering indications on all plants Switching out the metal halide for the HPS. Time to start budding.

First time grower - Day 3 - Seedling Stage Unknown strain, hopefully its a female Light meter currently reads 101 lux x100 Should I give it more lighting or put it closer to the plant? Using roots organic soil, should I prepare for nutrient feeding after week 1? And if yes, what nutrients should I feed them?

Small update Everything is going pretty well, nothing has really changed accept size. Still feeding through the autopot system. Nutrients have been upped slightly to 3ml per litre I think they are ready to flip over now but not sure wether to put them into a scrog for another week. They are pretty low and bushy on there own but I’m not sure if they would benefit from a lot of defoliation and lollipopping as the plants aren’t very tall anyway.

First week of flowering went good, plants are not really starting to stretch to much yet, screen is pretty much full already so I will probably just fill the last few squares on each side then I’ll add the second screen and let them grow up into it. I did a heavy defoliation at the end of week 1 as the screen was way to crowded. I’m going to wait till the end of week 2 and clear everything under the first screen then. Plants were also showing a little bit of nutrient burn on some of the leaf tips so I added about 3 gal of fresh water to my reservoir to dilute the mixture a bit. Overall it’s a very robust and leafy plant so far, lots of shouts coming up into the screen, should be a pack tent anyway. I’ll add more pictures throughout the week as well. Cheers 💨

Commencing Week 10 - 2nd week of flowering - Day 64 from germination - Day 14 of 12/12 on December 26th All is awesome! 😁 Although all plants have hairs right now, 818#1&2, BH2, & GZ2 (especially 818s) seem to start throwing hairs just a few days before the rest. RD is stretching out rather nicely and is working in sync to make a nice level and full canopy. Have noticed the pH of the nutrient solution now swings very low with every plant, especially the bigger ones, within 24 hrs going from 5.8 down to 3.8-4.3. I pH back up accordingly every day. Lastly I decided to go with "bonsai" training instead of topping. (This is in order to keep plants growing at a steady pace - non-stunting - while taking away the apical shape that is natural for some strains.). I "bonsai'd" The following: GZ1&2&3, AND 818#1. Simply put I coiled bonsai wire around the main cola and bent below the next lowest node /tier (see photos) The other s: RD, BH 1&2, and 818#2 have a natural level/close to level shape. D.65/15 Started tucking leaves and light stress training. So far I have taken only 3-4 leaves off per plant. And other than coiled the Apex cola they are been untouched. Also to balance out the pH drop, I have been pHing to the 6.0-6.2 range. Seems to steady the solution better so I will continue. Lastly I have put both the fans and the oxygen pumps on a 15m on 15 m off interval throughout the 24 hr day. I thought it might be risky however the plants seem not to mind, rather maybe even like this better. D.69/19 Yesterday I added a tiny bit of bloom food high in phosphate to help with the flowering since it's picking up now, as well as some extra Cal Mag and the plants seem happier because of it. And I have still been putting the pH a little higher, in the 6.1 range, rather than a 5.8 since it seems to be dipping low every time I check rather than going up. Also I put these pumps back on 24 hrs per day because after two days of being on for 12 hours her day they seemed not as happy as they were prior. Lesson learned with that one no harm done so that's a good thing. The raspberry diesel is really taking up the space wonderfully in between the four plants in the corners and is becoming almost + shaped really filling in the canopy just like the description online says don't vegfor long because the flower phase stretch is something to behold. 818 headband number one has a really beautiful medium sized stature not too short but not tall and lanky either and tons of Bud sites and is looking the most bud-filled already whether that means it will have the most yield or be done the fastest, or both we'll have to wait and see., All three of the Gorilla Zkittles seem to have slightly different phenotype variation one a little bit more sativa than the other two that are more hybrid looking. All 3 have very different root masses compared to the rest of the plants and are pretty big but one in particular is absolutely huge. (Comparisons will be posted in next week's update.) the Boss hogs also seem to have very different phenotype expressions as of now one is staying much more short and having a very level canopy naturally and no hairs, while the other is close to a level canopy but still has a little bit of that main cola dominant feature as well as a lot more hairs. Thank you watching hope your enjoying, the best is yet to come !!😁😁
