Week is going super well, did notice trichomes are starting to develop more in the coming weeks. Still struggling with watering mainly because i have 3 different strains and i dont know the flow yet. Watering schedule is thrice a week, I nutrient feed on sundays, water on wednesday and compost tea on fridays 500ml each pot. Will be monitoring the trichomes hereafter, today is day 90 from germination, super happy with the results no stunted growth or slow growth. Will set my harvest day between day 120-150. I am targetting longer harvest time for the purple punch because they didnt fight for the light and bullied by 2 monstrous sativas. Since it is indica dominant, i am going to chop them once i see 70% amber

This strain was easy to grow. I started out without an hygrometer. Due to delivery problems i had it very late and my girl noticed that becauce the envirement wasnt optimal for her. She did survive that period, after that she got defoliated multiple times, and i got really rough with her sometimes and broke of some stems, and that was no problem for her. I also had an encouter with thousands of thrips, which i had to nuke to remove them from my girl and she didnt even bother. In veg she was a good to handle, in flower it was a little bit harder and i think she likes alot more PK at the end of her lifetime than i offered her. But thats more of a guess. The smell matches more a cross between blueberry and lemon kush in my opinion. The gelato part is not so noticable at the end of the road.(for me atleast) But the blue in other hand is very dominant and strong by smell and taste. I ended up with hardrock buds even the smaller ones, so im very happy with the outcome. Because of my thrips invasion and usage of bioquant, i wanted to wash my buds for once to clean of all the dirt, dust, insect remains and other particles that shouldnt be in my bud. I did the oh so underrated BUDWASH, and wauw if would deffinatly recommend it to every grower with just a few plants. It really cleans your buds without effecting your potency, terps and overall buds. I also noticed that all buds dried at the same rate cause of the evenly spead moisture i guess. I ended up with 48.34 grams of hard and dry buds I took about 10 grams and turned it into superdelicious rosin because i also love to dab 😍 Thank you growdiaries for this amazing platform. Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Die Ladys wurden auch großzügig entlaubt. jetzt Konzentrieren sie sich auf die Produktion der Blüten.

Doing ok. Hard to battle humidity even though I have dehu and ac running . It’s 25 degrees and raining outside. some botrytis is showing up. Already ordered some particulate filters for air recuperators. Botrytis spores are supposedly 4 microns large or more. These filters are supposed to catch particulates smaller than one micron. Lets see if it helps stop the grey mold fucking bullshit.

so the development on this lady has been VERY slow and has made very little bud production at all she also did not really stretch out at all from flower her buds are at the same stage at week 7 then the blackberry was at week 2 really , she is showing nor has all her life of any deficiencies what so ever , she has stay very short and stocky with good leave production " before i defoliated she was a real nice little bush " she smell amazing and the only was i can describe it when i touch her sugar leaves is exactly like chewing on the lemon "yellow" skittles sweet so can see exactly where the name came from for this strain. she as you would expect has not been drinking a great deal and i am still able too only feed her 8 pint of feed per week where as her sisters are taking 14 pints , but other than her staying small and not wanting too really produce yet she has been easy too grow even for a newbie such as my self and has been trouble free ,

FastBuds - Gelato Auto x 1 Dry Weight - 2 ounce and 20.73 gram I can definitely see an increase in weight and yield from doing the mainlining technique I would normally get around 1.7 oz of an auto If I hadn't done any training and not lollypopped and defoilated the plant. Highly recommend this method to avoid clutter , little popcorn nugs and messy plants. I thought I lost a plant to herm but I could have been wrong as I seen a diary on here that looked very similar to the one I Isolated and it turned out OK. Smoked that one already and didn't hear any popping or cracking of seeds so she could have gone longer but I didn't wanna risk other plants turning. Nugs are rock solid! Gassy lemony smell!
