So I heard that matterhorn is an unstable plant but I never thought it was so unstable. One fenotype are doing well but plants from another mother are struggling. I checked the condition every day and every day the EC dropped and the pH rose. Which meant eating, but still showing problems on the leaves. During this period I made a mistake with the water temperature, namely when the water temperature is above 20 ° C the oxygen in the water drops drastically and these were the beginnings of my root problems. I didn't know it then, but later root rot appeared.

Shortly after they were switched to flowering (after week 3) the plants continue to stretch and then start to develop their first flowers. Now in week 7 all plants have very nice flower clusters all over the plant and side branches. They have grown to 45 cm (=Shiva Skunk on left side) and 40 cm (Serious Kush on right side of aisle) in height respectively and all plants have a nice dark green color, which shows they are healthy and also that the Advanced Nutrients schedule works like a treat. The Q6W-Gen.2 LED-Lamps are now dimmed to 100% (=three green LEDs on the dimmer) and work on FULL POWER, which ensures full fledged flower production. Both varieties have now started to exude their typical aroma. The Shiva Skunk starts to smell musky and sweet, while the Serious Kush smells 'gassy' and 'fuely' like its OG-Kush heritage. The flower clusters on the Serious Kush appear to grow denser than the clusters on the Shiva Skunk.

The strech is over. Another very hot and sunny week. The buds are getting bigger. I started to add some Bio-Bloom because the bottom leaves started to turn a bit brown. It seems that this is a 3 leaflets phenotype plant. Overall it looks nice, I'm happy :)

But as we approach the final stretch, it’s a delicate dance of vigilance and care to ensure a clean and bountiful harvest. Here’s a deep dive into this exciting and educational week: The “Flush” in Full Swing The flush continues as we prepare the ladies for their final days. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. Welcome to the first week! All is going as expected, just watering as needed and watching for any stress signs. I’m finishing up flowering in the grow room so the conditions are still not perfect for the seedling stage, but it will be okay 🤣

Not a whole lot going on this week. Did some light trimming and removed the wires. Main stem on all 4 are nice and flat, going to let the girls veg out for a few weeks and just grow up wards. Moved the lights up 16 inches to let them stretch out. I also switched light cycles.. read an article that mentioned a lot of benefits to having 8 hours on and 4 hours off. Specifically I've noticed a lot of benefits ik terms of cooling and environmental control. I havent had to push water bottles into my buckets ar all this week. And it seems to be growing at a normal rate.

Week 3 and a repot is done and now in day 3. Week 13! I have decided to stagnant harverst her in two parts as there is fresh growth in her lower half that the light cannot reach and the top buds are mature now and at the optimal cloudy trichomes I'm looking for are present. Look at all those trichomes heavy leaf and buds! She is heavy and smelling amazing with hints of fruit and cookies. I will also be flushing her next week! What an amazing journey, coming to an end!

The Gelat.OGs are blowing up. For as hard as they were to sprout, they're really solid now. Strong, thick stalks. If you measure from the floor, the height of the plats w LST and HST 1x is 24". But if you measure from the soil, it's 18". Meaning there is a lot more growth than it looks like in my confined space. These promise to be dense, dank and thick buds, as you can see from the pics. The LSD-25 I'm baffled about it. The trichomes are tiny, but the hairs are starting to turn red. I need to know a week in advance when it's going to be ready, but I still feel like it needs two more full weeks. That would put the LSD at 12 seeks, seed to harvest. Which is a bit more that most harvest diaries I see on here. White Widow is wispy, like a weeping willow. But growing. Blueberry one and two are sick. Had to top every branch. Might have to bonsai the eff out of them and top again. Depends when I can pull out the LSD-25.

Overall happy with her yield considering how small she was. Curious to see how it smokes.
