Week 3 of my soon-to-be purple ladies! 😻 Everything was going well but I noticed these issues: - The girl on the back is stretching waaaaay more and is less "leafy" than her sister. Perhaps she has more sativa in her DNA? - Leaves on both girls love to twirl around, specially on the girl on the front. - The stem on both girls is still weak and the girl on the front no longer needs the extra help she needed! Weather where I live is getting colder for some odd reason (it should be the opposite, damn!) and the "purple" is... perhaps starting to show a little? 🌸 Week 6 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week is in the books and the differences between the phenos are becoming impossible to ignore now 👀🔥 Stretch has been very different across the plants and some phenos are clearly showing completely different growth patterns despite running under the same conditions. It’s getting easier every week to identify which phenos stay compact and bushy and which ones want to reach for the sky. 📈 Current observations: Pheno #3 and #4 have stretched aggressively and are now above 70 cm Pheno #5 took the lead and is currently sitting at around 101 cm 👀🔥 Pheno #1 and #6 are still in early flower / preflower and developing noticeably slower Plant architecture is becoming very clear now — some phenos are growing dense and bushy while others are showing strong vertical growth At this stage I already have clear favorites: ⭐ Pheno #4 and #5 are currently standing out the most for me in terms of structure, vigor, and overall development. But the real decision will come once the flowers fully build up. 🍃 Maintenance & development: Canopy management continues and I’m still removing leaves only where necessary to improve light penetration and keep flower sites exposed. 📊 Current environment: Temperature stable around 26°C Relative humidity sitting around 67–70% VPD target remains unchanged and is being monitored continuously Light intensity continues to increase gradually as flowering progresses The next weeks should become really exciting — structure is one thing, but now the buds will decide who becomes the real winner of this pheno hunt 🌸🔥 💬 Which pheno would you bet on at this point?

This week I transplanted them into moist, inoculated soil that I had matured for 40 days, so I didn't water them this week. The soil hasn't dried out yet. I put mycorrhizae in the transplant hole. Next week my oil heater will arrive to raise the temperature a bit in the dark, because there were days when it reached 14°C. I noticed some leaves looked wrinkled; I believe it's because the soil is cold and I'm feeding them 300 ppfd. But otherwise, it's growing, just slower.

Start of week 7 is here.. As you can see i made some changes i added a 200 w spiderfarmer light. Together with my 2 x vivosun 100 w And i made a new "wall" coming from a recomendación in a question i asked. Thank you to this person! Helps a lot. Buds are forming. Just entering week 7, but by the looks of it almost seems start of week 8 😅

Tent is very full. Manageable but not optimal. Extra effort will be worth it in the end I guess. Humidity has climbed to around 55-60% within the last few weeks of taking the ac unit out of the tent. Will be addressing this week with a dehumidifier. Three lemon haze in full bloom now. #2 has just started but 1,3 are a few weeks ahead and killing it. Lemon haze #3 smells so pungent. Skunk and lemon as to be expected but also some diesel and herbal tones already coming strong. Gorilla cookies grew itself straight up into the light. Maybe 9-10 inches away from a 1000w hps. Been bending down and tying but it’s not even showing signs of stress or bleaching. Just blooming as hard as it can. Girl Scout cookies auto dwc is still not in flower. Keeps looking like any day but still nothing. Healthy as can be either way. I defoliated 2 days ago as it was needed and I can almost barely tell. Both soil grows look great. Not getting the light I would like but they are still performing great. Top canopy’s of both will be strong. Maybe need to water slower on the soils. Hps light makes for super shitty red pics. Going to pick up a few led shop lights to put above the hood for when I need a good view or pictures. I think that’s all. Have a great week. 🤙😎

Gave the photos a haircut today. Removed some fan leaves and lower branches that wouldn't amount to much. Gave the branches to my horse because he loves them! Tried enticing the ducks with fan leaves but they weren't having any of it. They prefer lettuce, not "The Devil's Lettuce"😂 I added in a little 5-1-1 fish fertilizer to my feeding regimen as well. Still picking off inchworms. Hurricane Dorian came through yesterday and gave us a good bit of rain and wind, so while the other girls were tucked under the roof, including the autos, Aubergine was at the end of the bench. I'm sorry, but I had to prioritize the others, I feel like they're at greater risk for mold. It got down to 49 F last night, which means it's really Fall now!

Pb#3 let leaves hang a little bit but looks a bit better now. Some of the Poppin Bottlez allready reaking of oranges.

Week 2: Light Struggles, First Adjustments & the Patience Test Update: 14.03.25 Good morning, grow fam! Week 2 of my photoperiod journey is running – a mix of challenges and small wins. Here’s a look at the early days of my Blueberry and Durban Poison seedlings. Current Observations: Light Deficiency & Stretching Stems The first days post-germination were intense: The seedlings developed extremely long, thin stems (check the photos!), a clear sign of insufficient light. Since I’m intentionally avoiding extra lighting to save resources, I had to improvise: - Tray Rotation: I rotate the seedling tray multiple times a day to ensure even exposure to the weak March sunlight. - DIY Support: For the most stretched seedlings, a bent wire acts as a crutch to prevent them from collapsing. Interestingly, the tomato and cucumber plants in the same tray show no issues – their stems stay compact. Seems like veggies are better adapted to low-light conditions than cannabis! Nutrients & Alfa Boost: An Experiment Even though my Biobizz Lightmix should provide enough nutrients for the first weeks, I tested a sample of Alfa Boost (freebie from the grow shop) during watering. The product claims to boost roots and stress resistance – perfect for my light-stressed babies. So far, no negative reactions, but no explosive growth either. Slow Growth – No Cause for Concern The plants are growing just millimeters per day, but that’s okay. My focus is on building sturdy, resilient plants, not speed. Once days get longer and sunnier, growth should pick up. They’ll stay indoors until mid-May anyway – plenty of time to bulk up. Next Steps & Tweaks - Transplanting in 1–2 Weeks: Once the first true leaf pairs emerge, they’ll move to small pots with my Biobizz All-Mix blend. - First Topping Soon: Once the plants hit 4–5 nodes, I’ll top them to encourage bushier growth. Week 2 Takeaway: Patience is key! Even in suboptimal conditions, I trust Dutch Passion’s resilient genetics. Fingers crossed for greener progress next week. It would only let me upload a 50 second clip I sent my buddy 🤣😂🤣😂 I’m an idiot ⭐️⭐️⭐️HARVEST DAY⭐️⭐️⭐️ Last full week was flushing again -Flush flush time 15 days -Starting runoff 9.6 EC -Ending runoff 0.2 EC No water the last day and a half. These are so full and hard I didn’t even bother doing an initial weigh in for cut hung plant material weight. These will be stored in the flower room at 58-60% and 60-62% humidity. It’s going to be a long dry. I’m guessing 14-21 days. 👆 I CAN LEAVE THESE HUNG FLANTS IN THE ROOM AS LONG AS I CHOOSE IF THE CONDITIONS STAY AT 58 DEGREES AND 62% HUMIDITY I will be back to upload a harvest week with trimmed bud shots. This was a really good grow. The super lemon haze should be a breeze to trim because of how uniform the leaves are even though there is a lot of them. Smells delicious…I’ll see you next week!

Here we are day 55 for our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid. I would immediately like to say, do you notice anything by any chance? I said day 55 and we're pretty much ready. The leaves are turning yellow regularly, I have removed the fertilizers, the pistils are ripe, the resin is out, there are all the signs for a harvest which should take place towards the end of next week. The plants were born on April 6th, I repeat on April 6th for those who cannot grasp the concept. Most certainly Watermelon Candy and Wurlz will be harvested around June 6th, guys...8 weeks...not even 9 or at most nine weeks. If you're good at math, you do it otherwise I'll lend you some fingers. For topping lovers it means that if you want to do topping on autoflowering plants they won't finish in biblical times, according to my calculations even doing topping shouldn't go beyond three months, like an autoflowering from the previous generation. Why am I talking about the previous generation? Because these have certainly moved forward with speed, I have seen them grow and above all swell the flowers like I have never seen them do. As for the rest of the resin and pistils, everything is really in place. I want to do a terpene inspection soon and evaluate the ripeness for the harvest.
