Grand Daddy Purple auto had a good growth spurt this week. She had her first lst and defoliation today. She has been growing vigorously this last week. This is a great sign and hopefully she keeps thriving. Everything is looking really good at the moment. pre-flowering they still seem very loaded with nutrients in fact one has burnt tips so I am watering abundantly with only demineralized water when they drain they start to feed them. I removed all the supports, we wait for the flowers 😂

Chop week. Space Jam could go longer but I’m not letting one linger.. I’m gonna get em all down at once Space jams a savage yielders probably get 50-75% more than everything else here. POTG pheno 1 that was used for SJ was a bit fluffy. Well the BB made them buds rocks on this SJ Thanos has two distinct phenos for sure. Not unexpected in some F1s Waiska is a total Pure Indica leaner, if you got Check out my other diaries you can see the newer pure indica diary I used for the mom. Just like this waiska. Stacks so wonderfully on the branches! 9/17 Pulled waiska and Thanos fluffy pheno. Still needing to take Thanos rock pheno , space jam, and blue AF

I'll be updating the comment with the daily log shortly, but figured I'd get the photos and weekly overview up. I started off this week with a topping at about the 4th node, leaving the larger fan leaves on for now. I then left then alone for a bit while I waited for the new branches at the nodes to grow out, rotating as needed. By the end of the week, they had all bushed back up with new foliage and growth. I also included photos pf the flowering mother plant to keep up with that sneak peak. She still wasn't showing signs of flowering, so I gave her an extra 24 hours of darkness to hopefully kick start the process. As I went to go shut unplug the light source, I noticed that there was a smaller light leak from one of the vent ports, so I also made sure to close that up. At the end of the week when she started to show signs of flowering, I defoliated her to help with light penetration, as she's got massive fan leaves. You'll see in the photos that I took that opportunity to decarb the trim as well. I'm sure there's little to no THC-A, but whatever other compounds are present should make for a nice addition to some butter later on down the road. I just won't factor it in when approximating the potency of the final product.

📆 Week 15, 12-18 August 2024 12-18 Aug - Observed and let the plant grow. 13 Aug - Turned lights down to 50% power. 📑 It’s been another week and no signs of slowing down. Pablo continues to grow! Her sativa genetics are really showing. I’ve turned the light power down to 50% hoping this will help to mature the plant. It is looking like another good week of flower will be appropriate here. This is my favorite new auto strain now. Enjoyed every part of the grow. She likes the nutrients very light, but was a simple grow with zero problems. Very sticky plant but not too loud. Curing in the Cannatrol as of now and will update in a couple weeks.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. one plant Corn bread.. is 17 months old.. the rest are 2-two months old. first week of documentation. start of 3rd week of flowering..16th day of flowering having an insect problem. showered plants with neem oil and soap need to get rid of mites and aphids need to better the feeding regimen need to prune and re arrange plants -----as for the room i need to cut two more 6' holes in central duct to place exhausts for third and fourth flowering lights and carbon filters. hook up portable a/c in storage room..use plastic wrap to seal in room .. exhaust heat from a/c out of seconadry window and make n intake from the bottom of the wall with the doorplace air filter over hole...collect water from a/c dripping

Week 4 of flower for Ztrawberry by Greenhouseseedco, Shes starting to dense up her flowers a bit, smell starting to come in too almost like a strawberry&cream type note for now. Getting watered every 3 days or so at this point.

Well I'm a bit upset last week I ended up dropping my ph meter in a tank of nutes I was mixing and by the time I got it out the meter was junk. I was planning on flushing the crystal but had to wait another week for the meter. I suppose the good thing to take from this was I found out why I was having issues with my plants. When the new ph meter came in I went to check my run off and my nutes that I had all ready mixed up. It turns out that my meter i had been using this whole grow was off by about -2-2.5 so this whole time I had been feeding the plants at around 3ph smfh. I cant believe they look how they do knowing what went on this whole time. Fastbuds crystal meth is 3days into flush and i will be cutting it down this weekend most likely. Mephisto hubbabubbasmelloscope is smelling like sweet sweet candy and is thick in resin Bighead seeds freeze berry/ blueberry crumble has a dank pungent stank to it and also is frosty but larrfy Big bomb is still growing thick and have bud sites everywhere Now I'm ready for the next batch and ready to get dialed in!
