This week was the last week of veg., I will switch to 12/12 (light/darkness) in week 6. The two Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are now 35 and 40 cm tall and have developed nice side-branches, which have grown upwards so they get enough light for good budding sites during flowering. The plants are still fed following the Advanced Nutrients schedule.

Weather was better than before. A couple of sunny and warmer days. Installed the lights with the timer in order to support a 16/8 light cycle with a 1 minute burst of light every two hours at night. Mid week i transplanted them, super happy about that. Cover crop looks great. The placeholder pots have been filled with horsetail, alfalfa, bokashi and worms. Cleared them out to use it as mulch on top. Watered them in with fresh brewed vermicompost tea. The Jamaican Dream CBD will later move into the garden, so the roots can connect with the soil through the bottom of the bag. Plants looking great by the end of week, but still in flower.... started a new run for back up and a friend of mine would give me some very nice seedlings and clones if things go wrong.

Welcome to week 8 of my Northern Lights XL Auto diary Did some LST, and she seems to like it very much. Development did slow down a bit as it seems, but the plant is taking the training very well the lower branches did grow quite a bit and are moving upwards to the light overall performance is very good, no insects problems, also no problems with rain (yet) Waiting for more bud development, let the plant take it's time

Welcome to Day 50 2/5/21 she is getting nice and fat just the way I like it also she still looks heathy with no problems. I decided to add deep clean to the solution to help with the potential of salt build up. they are drinking a lot 18L every 6 days and that's a good thing, I also upped the big bud from 1 ml a L to 2 ml a L If there are any questions feel free to ask and as always happy growing and keep your stick on the ice 🙏

We come a long way to her final week She is just drinking water now, in 5 days I will harvest. She looks very good. I would leave her another week but I need to harvest on next Thursday. Its been an amazing strain no issues at all. Not the biggest buds I have seen but very very nice smell and quite decent size buds. Looking forward to get final weight.

Sorry I didn’t upload week 5 Ngl it was a bad week i suffocated 4 plants I had to defoliate some leaves because of nutrient defeincies making the plant look diseased I managed to pull through there back healthier again I got a few yellow spots but there goint but other then them 4 there’s some nice bud and bud spots really starting to come through excuse the 4 shittier looking plants and the defoliated skimpy one! Other then those problems that I have resolved I’m happy again last week not so this week happy!!! It’s all trial and error first go I haven’t trained any plants I will do on my next grow definitely!

So, with these interesting times and what is becoming a fast evolving global catastrophe. I, myself, along with the rest of you ( I hope ) can take some solace in looking after our gardens, to have some peace away from the news, to give our ladies the best care we are able to provide 🌱 If you ever needed any vindication or validation as to why growing your own is best. More than half the world currently in lockdown, and with MJ in short supply, our actions speak for themselves! Anyway, back to this diary. I done a lot of work on the room, invested a lot and tried to make everything as automated as possible. Everything runs on smart plugs, the hydroponic system is DIY and is RDWC which is cooled with a Hailea 150a. 6 plants is what I am going for this time, with a shorter veg length compared to the last grow. I prefer to wait until they show their sex, but if they don’t by week 5, I plan on flipping anyway all being well. I am using 730nm LED’s that come on 15 mins before lights on, turn off during lights on, and then they come back on when lights go out, and stay on for 15 mins. This should enable me to run 13/11 during flower with little risk. I am also going to add a UVB fixture to my custom rig which will only be used during the final 2 weeks of flower. I have 3 Alibaba lights attached to a custom rig, they really are awesome lights. I tested the room out with an Apogee SQ-520 par meter (PAR map in pics). I have dimmed them down, so PAR is around 500 across the whole canopy, this will be increased to 1000 once they’re flipped. I vent from my house, to the room and then outside, this increases the CO2 in the room, which I think helped the yields on the last grow, generally CO2 hovers between 470 and 700 PPM. My ladies look a little sick, but tbh, I struggle starting out in Rockwool, and things usually correct themselves within a couple weeks. With the quarantine I have struggled to pick up a humidifier that is capable of maintaining that room, so it has been all over the place since the start. I have opted to go with Royal Gorilla this cycle, let’s see if it’s as potent as RQS says that it is! Good luck all and take care...

End of another week and dang are these girls going! The alfalfa Ferment is definitely doing work down in that rhizosphere. It's pretty amazing how well this Ferment does for veging cannabis. I seriously cut my veg time down by almost half when I use it! That's the main objective right there, to be able to continuously flip into flower right after harvesting, and we're basically their now that we have everything dialed in. These girls will be getting synthetics next week. We're going to start them on a light feed of Athena blended then go from there. Thanks for stopping by and we'll see ya next week.

Hi meine Garten Freunde ich hoffe Ihr hattet eine sonnige Woche. Die Pflanzen haben jetzt die 11 Blüte Woche hinter sich gebracht, und somit kommen wir dem Ende immer näher. Jeden zweiten Tag schau ich nach den Trichomen, und ich muss sagen das die Köpfe sehr reif aussehen. Ich gebe den Pflanzen maximal eine Woche dann können sie geköpft werden. Seit Anfang dieser Woche gebe ich schon gar keine Nährstoffe zum gießwasser. Ich hoffe das die n diesen Pflanzen nicht soviele seeds zu finden sind, ich gehe aber davon aus das in der einen oder anderen ein paar vorhanden sein wird. Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen zwei Super Silver Haze Pflanzen geerntet und die waren förmlich verseucht mit Seeds. Ich muss aber gestehen das diese direkt neben den zwittrigen Pflanzen standen, und somit am meisten abbekommen haben. Ich habe nicht komplett mitgezählt haber es müssen um die 400-500 Seeds sein. Ich hoffe das die Pflanzen die ich jetzt noch habe größtenteils verschont geblieben sind. Ich danke euch fürs vorbeischauen. Wie immer könnt ihr gerne ein Like da lassen und mir folgen. Muay Thai is still slowly growing. She is 65 cm tall. This week grow is slight and won’t turn her into a 3-meter sativa dominatrix. The key thing is that she won’t finish any time soon if she keeps growing. My experience is that Thai sativa can go for nearly a year. I doubt it is the case for this auto. But Muay Thai sure takes her time. The good thing about longevity is that head high seem to increase with flowering time. Muay Thai is in the sunniest spot. Bad part about this spot is that she is next to aphid and black mold nest. Neighboring plant is a hibiscus and magnolia. This is aphid season. With aphid sugar secretion, there are black mold everywhere. I think it is aspergilus niger and not that dangerous. Still, I went overboard with anti-pest microbe spray. The microbes comes in wheat flour format. And after frequent spray without the rain, white marks accumulate on leaves. Growing environment, midst of tropical winter. By European standard, mild climate but with 11 hours day light. VPD T RH % Hottest 1.88 28 50% Morning day 1.40 23 50% Night 1.21 18 41% Feeding what I am feeding my other plants. This is milk, molasses, and fish bone tea. Muay Thai would be fine without the feeding. But since I already made it for other plants and I don’t think it will overdose Muay Thai, I also fed here with these.

So that was fun, and trouble free! First round with RDWC was a success. Compared to previous grows I barely had to manage them. It probably reduced my time with the plants by 50%. I know I had spacing issues and a lack of light that led to reduced bud density. I’ll be fixing that next grow. I chopped them down last night and they’re drying. 21C and 51%RH. Day 43. Girls are really nice, stretching, forming, growing ... A bit pale, but i always try not to overfeed during grows now. I don't know whats wrong with those Royal Cookies, they grow like shit. Last bean sits in pot without food for more than 5 weeks, still all mutated and a bit overwatered, despite all this Royal Gorilla clone is almost dieing from hunger and shows no signs of over/watering/feeding. Crap genetics 100%. One-two weeks and all Autos going in. Most girls are in preflower, but Whiteys are real fast runners, they are blooming already. Day 46. All autos in full bloom. RQS pot got heavy training. Food is changing. RQS pot and mini clones will stay till autumn in greenhouse. I will choose soon which plant to leave in each pot. Heavy training will start soon aswell. Day 47. Heavy training on RQS pot and feed to all. Autos gets bloom mix. Hope after so much time this Cookie won't go hermie. She still grows stressed and not normal. Happy growing !

I might check out some other indica dom strains these guys have to offer. I was pleasantly surprised with this strain. These plants grow fast and tall. Responds very good to topping and lst. Great to grow, great to smoke.
