Grand Daddy Purple autoflower is looking really good. She has not shown any pistils yet. I did a bunch of lst to her and defoliation to open her up for the stretching. Everything is looking good. She looks like she is gonna try to get good size in the small potter. Bigger the better. This week i added a boost of HomeMade CO2, i never measured the results of this invention so i can't give CO2 measurements. This method is widely used in home aquariums and there is where it comes from. For those interested i'm going to write here more detailed instructions. The 4 liters i've made will last for about 2 weeks. ---NEEDINGS--- - 250 ml Bottle - 6~10 l Bottle - 400 g Sugar / l water - 1 Envelope of organic baker's yeast / l water (CHEMICAL WILL NOT WORK) - 3 mid plastic tubes 40~50 cm - 1 short plastic tube 5~6 cm - 4 tube adapters - Hot glue to seal adapters The process of creating CO2 is simple, mix water, organic yeast and sugar in a bottle, and the sugar will free CO2 in the process of fermenting to alcohol due to the yeast. 1. Make a hole in the center of the big bottle cap, insert an adapter and secure it with hot glue 2. Make 3 holes in the small bottle cap and glue the other 3 adapters 3. Link both caps with one of the mid tubes and insert the other tubes on free adapters 4. Insert a short tube in the bottom of the small cap in the adapter that came from the big cap 5. 4x4 #1 | Plants are starting to stack bud formations, in week 5 flower 4x4 #2 | Plants are starting to show pistils this week & a active stretch, in week 2 flower Gyat is very easily managed and both phenotypes are looking great, even the 'finicky' plant Scat Queen is a herm and both phenos, I'm still going to run them.. they look good other than. The pheno in week 5 flower smells really good and overall structure is nice but seeded and I'm seeing the 2nd pheno starting to show the same traits.. this experiment shows it's not a stable cross from Elev8 just by the fact every other plant isn't giving this problem and its a 100% rate in 2 different tents. Did some shuffling & added a smaller plant, Sherbie Truffle by Detroit Seed Co in the front right next to Gyat to the left -it is a week behind the others but will fill the space nice. ( Scat Queen back left, Gyat back right and front left, Sherbie Truffle front right ) Keeping the flow smooth growmies 😎

Well she over doubled her height this week! Look how much she's bushed out too! Possibly flowering has just started? Not sure how much she will stretch.

7/10 - Lowered light just an inch, plants still looked like they were stretching up a bit. Currently at 29" 7/11 - May be light stress, I'm not sure. But a spot has popped up on the older Gelato, which my wife has affectionally named Mal. Also noticing some warping in the leaves, it dosnt look terrible, definitely keeping a close eye on it. While checking out the girls this morning, found 3 or 4 gnats flying around. Killed them all, will monitor. I am allowing the soil to dry out before I water again, currently the top layer is mostly dry. 7/12 - Everything is looking great today, found 1 gnat this morning. Soil looks dry, stuck a soil moisture meter to the bottom of the cups, reads on the dry/moist line. Will probably water tomorrow. 7/13 - Plants looking good this morning, nice amount of growth overnight. Watered roughly 100ml each, slowly until water started to drip from drainage hole. I poked around the soil before watering, to try to find any gnats and i didnt see any fly up. As soon as water hit the soil, i saw about 3 fly up, tried to kill them. I am going to keep air blowing on the plants, to hopefully keep the gnats at bay. Will be getting some yellow sticky pads as well. The tent has been getting a little warm lately, in the lows 80's, up to 83. I decided to dim the light to 75%, and bring it closer. Light is currently at 75% 24". Overall I am very happy this week. 7/14 - Alright, so it has come down to pest management already. When I checked the girls out this morning, I found a lot of gnats. So I mixed in a little bit of diatomaceous earth into the top 3/4" of soil. Hopefully it doesn't cake up on me when i water next time. The original plan was to wait and ride them out to transplant, but when i saw the amount I gnats, I knew I had to do something. They did not like that at all, ill check back later tonight to see what carnage has been wrought to the gnats. Other than the gnat problem, the girls have been looking very good. I am a little concerned for Regina, she seems to be growing a little slower, and had some strange coloring in the growing fan leaves. I think she will pull through though. I saw a VPD chart that says my RH should be around 65-70% right now. So I'm shooting for that. I set up a little humidifier inside the tent. 7/15 - So it looks like the DE did the job, I poked around in the soil and couldn't find any gnats. Also I lifted the light up a little, to keep the canopy at 24". I ended up transplanting today, may be a little early, but it'l be alright. Dusted the transplant site and the root ball with great white myko. Added some more DE to the top of the pots to keep the gnats at bay. 7/16 - Nothing really going on today, the ladies are enjoying their new home, lots of growth over night. Didnt see any gnats today!

After 2 weeks I chose my favorite plant of the three and prepared her for the Autopot. Now she needs to root this pot for another 2 weeks before we can turn on the Aqua Valve and the tank. DLI 30

This girl is so big! We are just into flower and I bet my tent will struggle to hold them all.. Lol

I use a new EC meter wich shows higher numbers, so now my water shows 1500ppm with 1.2 grams/L drypart and 1ml/L calmag, the thing is if the runoff is about the same as what goes in yr all good.

Buds are already getting nice and dense. Thick coat of trichomes is already glistening. Flower production has been very on point! Very hardy colas flying off these girls. Very excited for this one. I reduced the nitrogen dose again. I also stopped giving them vigorous. Its a pure bloom mix now as these ladies are booming with flowers. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
