Well it might not be the prettiest plant but the buds are getting really frosty so I'm excited to see how she turns out! Edit: added a new video because I was missing my girl in the night. She's a frosty lady and smells great! Lol

Good harvest and excellent buds. Buds are loaded with a lot of THC, which provides a powerful multifaceted effect, combining daytime high and relaxing evening stone. I like to smoke this kind and relax while watching TV or playing cards. This strain is easy to grow and I have not had any problems or overdose of fertilizers. In the fourth week, the plant has more than doubled its growth - up to 30cm. I did not change the main indicators of the microclimate, but again slightly corrected the nutrition scheme: I added NESY KOKO 20ml to 5 liters of water. The bush looked healthy, strong and the first signs of pre-blossom began to appear on it. Flowering began on the 45th day. The plant was stretched out at a frantic pace - almost 4 centimeters a day. Thus, by the end of the 7 week, its size was already 45 centimeters. With the beginning of the eighth week, the elongation of growth stopped. The final height (along the center line) was 60cm. I decided to shorten the light period - now it was 12/12. I started use HESI PK 13/14 HESI BOOST.( once a week) At 9 weeks, I started to gradually defoliation. The bumps were very heavy and dense, so I gently pulled them to the center cola, as the side branches might not be able to handle the weight. From the 11th week on, I stopped feeding the plant, giving it exceptionally clean water for flushing. The trichomes began to turn cloudy and signaled that it was time to harvest. By this point, I had completely removed the foliage from the bush - everything was ready for harvesting. I dry cut buds in the same grow box where they grew. I haven't tried these buds yet. I was pleased with the quality of the strain. The center kola, as well as the side branches, gave me an excellent harvest. As for growing, I did not experience any difficulties. I recommend using a charcoal filter when growing - the variety is very aromatic. After drying and curing, I will take a sample from the finished product. On the way out, I got a first-class, top-quality IndiCA. The taste is dominated by pine woody notes. The effect has a powerful relaxing effect and awakens a brutal appetite in me. I like to smoke this kind and relax while watching TV or playing cards. Thanks to sponsor HESI for nutrients I got this report. I am very pleased with the result. The whole cycle I had no problems with the growth. In the future, I ll sure to use their further line of fertilizers. I added fertilizers according to the table from NESI. 1. The level of PPM is relatively low and it is large 2. The PH level was corrected automatic and I have a video about it. 3. Due to the content of B vitamins and natural sugars, the flowers grow naturally and fast. 4. NESI complex was enough for full grow cycle. I did not add any extra food. 5. The end product is easier to clean as the PPM level is low.

This week i made a plan for the plants feeding. For start gave a small portion of nutrients like 1/4 from the suggested to see the reaction of the plants. Day 21: fim one plant (the plant referred as cotyledons now is going to be mentioned as fim).In a few days will top the other one.

Hi growmies, Somehow I must have missed to update this diary last, my apologies for that…. As the Afghan was dried, she could finally move into her forever home. I have made some modifications to the box, compared to the last run. The biggest change is of course that it’s housing now a 20l DWC system, build from two euro containers. I have further installed a little Computer fan below the canopy and will probably install another one above the canopy. Last but not least, I installed a ScrOG, build from an old Coca-Cola fridge, that someone disgarded somewhere. Lates see how it will go this time.

No more LST...beastie bloomz 1/2 teaspoon and maybe 1 teaspoon each next week....don't see a big difference yet...happy with the growth so far! My biggest plant is finally stretching up towards the light..soon I’ll be able to lollipop her and focus on the top canopy!

This week went pretty good! I did some light defoliation, and I also had to tie up some colas for support, as they started drooping towards the floor as the buds begin to bulk up finally. I believe I have another week or two at most for them to bulk, then it will be time to flush. The pictures really do not show how this pig is taking over my little 4x4. I never thought one auto could damn near fill a 4X4, but little miss piggy is trying. The more I feed this hog, the hungrier she gets. I also started feeding her some PK booster last week. I believe my plan to rotate these autos will work out well, as there is absolutely no way I could fit 4 autos in my tent at once nearing the end of flower. 28/3/2020: DAY 24 AND 23 OF GORILLAS. 2LST is giving me some results ! beauty structure and healthy colour in the gorillas (yellow card shows the date of birth and strain) and the LH is starting to strech after 15 days of life ! No watered since 3 days MY CANNAPY (i used only 1 time deeper undergrow and only one 2 time raw water and 1 time delta 9 foliar spray) so the next watering session will be featured by Top Bloom and Delta 9 water solution directly to the ground (no foliar) because of to prepare the ladies to its bloom. LH will get some deeper undergrow because she only get raw water. 04/4/20 : day 30 and 31 on the gorillas super good structure and super fast growth. Lemon haze is on day 22 showing us its sativa structure. Both strains started to show some hairy preflowers at the top of the main cola and arround the satellites too. LH get top bloom + top veg ; GG get top bloom + top candy. depending on the evolution of the plants, I will use my PK 52-34 in super low dosis because of I want the ladies get used to it so I can increase the dosis little by little ! Just got done with trimming the 4x4 @greenhouseseedco Super Silver Haze / @blimburnseeds Silver Surfer Haze tent. The final yield is exactly 1000g plus some (kind of a lot)that I smoke in the last 2 weeks 😃 Also got 6, gallon size ziploc bags filled with good quality trim for concentrate. To be honest I was expecting a little more but keeping in mind that this grow I did not supplemented with bottled CO2 I think I’m good with the results. Definitely I enjoyed a lot this grow and I’ve learned even more.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. 3/23: I let them go totally dry. The shortie got flushed for the first time today with about 10 gallons of warm water and Sledgehammer. I fed the big one about 3/4 gallon including terpinator, signal, sweet & sticky, cal-mag, armor si, cha ching, tiger bloom, big bloom, and humic acid. She's nowhere near to ready...but fattening nicely. 3/26: I'll flush the shortie for the second time tomorrow, and maybe water her once more before I harvest her. 3/27: Shortie got flushed for the second time today with about 8 gallons of warm filtered water with Sledgehammer and the big girl got 3/4-gallon of filtered water with signal, terpinator, cal-mag, sweet & sticky, and a little bit of cha ching.
