Days 74 - 80 (from seed) 4/15/24 - 4/21/24 Lamp distance: 13" @ 50% power (estimate PAR?) VPD: not checking - humidity set to 40% Feed schedule: feed schedule once a week, 1/4 gallon water per plant daily - FPE added at 2oz per gallon every third day IPM: visual inspection only Notes: Final push, fading occurring on all plants now and some amber starting to show during trichome inspection. Cookies & Berries taking the most time of the group to finish while Mango Sky crossed the finish line first. All four plants will be chopped next week on the morning after the full moon, April 24th - according to the moon gardening calendar it is "best time to pick medicinal herbs and plants, while flowers if cut during this time have an intense scent and endure longer." They're close to finished in my book so it can't hurt to follow the lunar suggestion.

This week, I encountered a few issues after switching them to 12/12. The plants have shot up to an extreme height, and it feels like things are getting a bit out of hand! I'm trying to manage the situation using some super cropping techniques to control the excessive stretching. Thankfully, as we're now approaching the end of week 3, the plants are starting to focus on bulking up their buds. As you might notice in one or two photos, a couple of tops touched the panel in the last 24 hours, and I didn't catch it in time. This resulted in a small loss, with part of a top getting a bit scorched. We'll have to wait and see how it recovers. If anyone has any suggestions on why they've stretched so much, I'd really appreciate the insight! Catch you all next week!

Heute startet die 9. Woche, nicht wie hier vermerkt die 12. Woche.

Hi Growmies~! In this post, I’ll walk you through how to cultivate live microbes at home with minimal supplies. [PROS] 1. Can alleviate plant stress in as little as 6 to 72 hours. 2. Effective for houseplants, exotics, crops, and other plants. 3. Provides a foundation for creating liquefied nutrients. 4. Helps dissolve dry nutrients quickly. 5. No need for pH pens, bubblers, air pumps, or other complex equipment. 6. Easy to determine when microbial activity is at its peak. [CONS] - Short shelf life; may develop a strong farm-like odor if it goes bad. [HOW TO CULTIVATE] 1. Fill a bucket with the desired amount of dechlorinated water. 2. Dissolve 1 pinch of sea salt per gallon of water. 3. Mash a cooked potato and mix it into the bucket. 4. Add 1 tablespoon of compost or worm castings per gallon of water. 5. Stir well, cover the bucket (if possible), and place it in a dark, room-temperature location. 6. The video included is a timelapse showing the changes inside the bucket as the preparation completes. [HOW TO USE] **WARNING: DILUTION IS A MUST** - Use the solution when bubbles form a "pizza shape" on top and start to pile up. - Dilute to 5-10 ml per liter of water for by-weekly feeding. - Once the bubbles disappear, the microbes have died off. You can either mix the remaining solution with plain water for feeding or discard it. This is most of the Korean Farms use, and prepare soil for season. Hope you find this helpful! 1 Corinthians 10:26

Flower is upon us and now the journal is caught up. I will be giving weekly updates at this point as they happen, playing catch-up is over but I did want to get my journey started on this site. Still a relatively new grower and I have plenty to learn.
