Day 57 and that's a 33.8oz spring water bottle for size reference. Video's are day 58. I'm going to ice water her tonight and then keep her in straight darkness for 72hrs and then harvest. She's a beast for sure. You can definitely see an increase in trichromes in the 4 days of total darkness started with it's 1st and final ice water flush abd no more water for 3 days or untill I harvest.

This lady hasn't stretched up so much during pre flower, she has a nice size anyways and I cannot smell any terpenes yet on day 23 of flower, I cannot wait to see how this lady develops some big and sticky flowers! Stay with me on this journey guys! Let's keep on growing!, 💛💚❤️👨‍🌾🔝

She's done! Whew! I can say that this wasn't my easiest grow. She had some issues in the beginning, due to over fertilizing (see diary) but she managed to produce some beautiful crystallized nuggets. I flushed her for a week but she looked so ready, and she's so loud, I had to chop her down. Stay tuned for the smoke report.

Et voici le reste du jardin (sans la cherry cola qui sèche deja;) Rien à signaler à part les 2 monstre dans la tante qui n arrêtent pas de grandir ;) j ai fais une defoliation aux 2 ainsi qu aux dos i dos (qui produisent pas mal de feuilles à enlever;) Mais autrement elle aussi évolue bien . (A voir d ici une semaine voir 2 ) et j ai dans les dos i dos comme pour les strawberry x gorrilla 2 pheno différent Un des pheno de strawberry prend 2 voir 3 semaine de plus à finir (j avais se pheno à mon premier journal de strawberry x gg4.. Dommage car l autre pheno est juste magnifique avec des têtes énormes (c celle de droite ) et elle fini bien plus tôt que l autre.. bon c été à peut près tout j voulais juste mettre quelque souvenirs en plus de ces magnifiques ladys 😀

I cut them down the night before the open houses started. The White Widow looks really good. I put them in darkness for 72 hrs, then cut and hung the whole plant, then wet trimmed hung for 18 hrs/day and put in paper bags for about 6 hrs/day for 4 days with a fan oscillating close by. Then in bags for one day, now they've been dry trimmed and put in jars. 50g for the White Widow and it looks great. I can't wait to smoke some.

Week 3 starting off strong No nuts just yet still letting the Nector of the gods and FF soil just be my main base for nuts. Also I add some cal mag and PH balance the water. I will probably start adding some noots toward the end of the week when I start seeing some more growth. For right now I'm thinking I might let them veg for about 6 weeks depending on the growth in the upcoming two weeks. Hope you all are having a safe and fund grown. Both plants looking slightly different towards the end. #2 is bulkier but less frosty and #1 is the opposite. #2 could be ready now but #1 definitely needs another week or 2. Might take a top off to see how it is now. Looking forward to testing!!

Week after week, through careful nutrition, TrolMaster monitoring, and endless observation, we watched them evolve. From the early stages of vegetative vigor, through the lush canopy of mid-flower, and even through the challenges of heat and bud rot, these girls showed true resilience. Each setback taught something — about balance, airflow, humility, and the living rhythm of nature. Both plants were ultimately harvested with respect and gratitude. ⸻ ✂️ Harvest & Trimming After about two weeks of slow drying at 60°F / 60% RH, the branches began to snap — a sure sign the moisture was just right. Each plant was trimmed by hand, carefully and patiently, letting every calyx, pistil, and trichome tell its own story. The buds were dense, sticky, and heavily frosted — a trimmer’s delight. Finger hash collected along the way was pure gold, rich in aroma and bursting with terpenes. Each snip of the scissors felt like sculpting something sacred. Both plants were dried whole, allowing for slower moisture migration and a smoother final cure. ⸻ 🌿 On Trichomes and Harvest Timing We chose to harvest when most trichomes were cloudy, with only a few still clear and very few amber. This moment — just before full amber maturity — is where potency meets flavor at its peak. Why cloudy trichomes? Because that’s when cannabinoids like THC and terpenes are at their maximum activity. Too early, and you lose potency; too late, and THC starts converting into CBN, giving a heavier, sleepier effect. Cloudy trichomes deliver a balanced high — euphoric yet grounding — capturing the essence of the strain in its full potential. ⸻ 🌸 Aroma, Taste & Effects The Lava Cake lives up to her name and lineage. Flipped to 12/12 at the end of Week 7. The manganese issue seems to have been solved by lowering the pH levels. Ordinarily I'd strip most everything below the net this week, but a friend asked me to leave him some clippings until week 2-3 of flower. I cleaned it up a little underneath the net, continued to tuck new growth, and started to slack back on grow nutes, and slowly introduce flower nutrients. I was hoping to have a second Aglex 2000 COB LED to add to the tent for flower, but it may be another week or two before I can add it.
