Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Really into the aggressive stretch now going to be doing some defolation this week there looking in good shape for it going to slightly increase the ec to 1.6 a week after defolation as to the defolation I will ease off the ec for this feed to over the stress week three I shall lollypop them all and clean up the girls and won't touch them after that last defolation in the end of week 3 I also foiler fed with the shogun boost

14.1.25: I've been readjusting the LST. I just took all the pegs out and reshaped her. I got some new LST equipment in the mail today, have been glad to have more pegs. I got some clips too, but they don't seem to stay on 😕 I'm currently only using the pegs, I have some thicker soft wire, but I forgot I don't have pliers to cut it! Also I'm running very low on Biobizz nutrients, so that could be bad 🤞 18.1.25: I have done another large defoliation on PPP1 and PPP2. Also, moderate defoliation on all other plants today. All LST ties and pegs are readjusted. I have turned up the light to 90%. Same distance of between 24-28 inches, depending on height of specific plant. I have increased the dosage of Biobizz Bio-Grow and Fish Mix to give an extra boost of Nitrogen as several plants were showing yellowing. They have responded very well to this. Unfortunately I ran out of my Biobizz nutrients and PH UP. I'm currently using Bicarbonate of Soda to increase the PH after the nutes PH comes out to about 4.1. Obviously, that uses a lot and I only had a 250ml bottle, which I used last run too. This run I have 9 plants. The only thing I'm worried about is the salt build up. Have you used it before? Or any other natural way to increase PH? Please let me know! I've also added Biobizz Fish Mix to help with the extra Nitrogen needed. Watering with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients;- ♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish. I water with this every 3 days. I did order some more Biobizz Bio-Grow and Bio Bloom. I found some at a reasonable price on Amazon. I still have about 800 ml of Biobizz Fish Mix left, too. It is fairly expensive this time as the plants are hungrier this run. I also got a new bag of Canna coco, which I may use to add a top dress with some dry amendments. Which hopefully will save some cash on the bottled nutrients and stretch out until the end of this run without having to buy anymore. I have purchased a funnel to pour the water. It is difficult, due to the shape of my LST, to water precisely. I have spilt it all over the tent several times 🙄 I've also ordered a 2 litre jug. Currently, I'm mixing water for 9 plants individually in a 1 litre jug. It's tideous. Hopefully, this will solve the issues. 420Fastbuds-Week 6 What up, fam. Weekly update on the Photoperiod Femenized strains. GorillaMelon,RainbowMelon, LemonManderian,LemonPaya,PapayaSherbet, and some FastFlowering GG4/Sherbet. For just putting them outdoors 3 weeks ago, they've adjusted to the heat like a dream mid 90's and tripled in size. To think there's probably 4 more weeks of veg. These are going to get big. I might have to raise up the greenhouse or make it a convertible. I'm still just feeding well water, probably 2 liters, each straight from the hose daily. All in all Happy Growing.

In the beginning of this week ( Monday in the late afternoon) I started seeing some burnt tips. Not really a big deal if you give less nutrients in the future, but i don't like it. Thats why i decided to flush my plants and check the run-off. PH levels where decent but the EC was to high. Not a suprise because I forced them a bit last week by giving some more nutrients. So right now my PH and EC for the kushes are arround PH 5.8-6 with 1.3-1.5 EC and for my shamans PH 6.3-6.4 with ec 1.5-1.6 After my flush, I gave all the plants some Canna RHIZOTONIC ( root stimulator). I advice everyone to give root stimulator after stressing the plant out with like flushing. In this grow i always weight my pots, therefor i always know when to perfectly feed them. They dronk 9 to 10 liters of water/feeding in like 96hours(4 full days) which is insane because it wasn't that sunny/hot (evaporation) and they are not trees being in the open ground. and maybe the most importent thing is that normaly your roots will stress a bit because of overwatering(flushing) and will go into a shutdown or having a hard time for a period as a result that your pots will stay heavy(full of water) for some days. In my case, this didn't happen at all. Wednesday I sprayed all the leafs with Canna Cure for some nice leaf nutrients,getting rid of minor trips and to prevent other unwanted renters. Friday I started feeding them again with nutrients, like 2-3 liters each plant and today I gave them water 2-3 liters each plant with only Enzymen in it. It was a crazy thirsty week for them with an average of 1.6-1.7 liters a day😅 Sadly one lower branch got damaged and had to get rid of it but I didn't mind that much since these buds where far behind other buds in developement. I placed one bud under the microscope for fun and saw insane amounts of thc on it haha, and that for just week 5 of flowering for a outside grow. Made a picture of it, just take a look at it. - Critical kushes started getting into preflower, finnally!! but still, only 6 weeks left before it gets to cold outside. - Did some LST again because the criticalkushes are still stretching. They might still stretch for another 1 to 2 weeks, its getting out of hand haha. - Shamans and the critical kushes get different feeding schedules, Should had done that waaaaay earliyer but I didn't care about it until now. - Forgot to supercrop my plants LOL, for the shamans it is to late, don't want to stress them out in their stage, but i did in on the kushes, since they are only 1 week in flowering, still growing a bit, it would't harm them that much. No need for steering them around, already done that. Just doing it to stress them out a bit so they will send more nutrients to the branches for bigger yield. Have to keep remind myself that this is just an outside fun grow but I just can't help myself buying stuff and wanting to do more/better. Hope you guys enjoyed watching and reading.

Hello everyone Fat Banana is doing amazing the hot weather here has given her a extra boost this week. She is filing those buds nicely. Trichomes are everywhere and in big numbers to. And I have given her the first dose off PK13/14 nutrition. I will give her this for the next 2/3 weeks when feeding. Not much more to say then Happy Growing all

Day 21 since germination, added a little bit of fish mix to watering schedule, a little bit of yellowing on foliage, ph testing RO filtered water and bringing it down very slightly to 6.5, I think possibly the soil as all mix quite nutrient rich to start with so going really easy on the nutes at mo and not too concerned, if it continues or notice more will water till run off check ec of the soil just to be on safe side. Pleased with the amount of growth after 21 days :)

May, 8th I tried to do different Trainings on the Cookie-Plants the one on the Pictures is growing quite Wild with alot of laterals but atm i let her do the Thing The others have a more strict Growingregime✊ All Girls sit in amended Soilmix, ( EASY BOOST ORGANIC NUTRITION) so only Water and Beneficals for them waiting little before I start Floweringnutes

There was a whole lot of buds off this plant and they are dense . Totaling around a pound dry I lost a good sized chunk to pm in the bottom of the canopy due to weather . Even with ipm I still had problems . Besides that there was nothing wrong with her it was a quick germinating plant that had a solid start indoor early in the season . Once she went outdoors into a 5-7 gallon pot the final place saw it in a 7 gallon to the garden box . That have the roots room to grow . I gave the plant miicrobialmass since day one and was in pro mixbx soil . The nutrients were synthetics and organic bit I finished her off with the organic line up dutch science nutrients . The flush lasted about a week mostly because it was grown outdoors with minimal nutrients added as is .. the end results were great smoke which yielded strong medical buds and lots of sugar leaves for edibles .. thx dinafem for the chance to run your gear. I've never been disappointed with the genetics or their customer service .The next one I'm running will be Remo chemo and possibly the ocean grown too the choice is always hard

Set 1&2 are out the green house in an outdoor setting but still under light....did some transplanting gonna do the rest in the upcoming week hopefully n maybe take some cuts other than that everything else running smooth Harvest the mother tree at the beginning of the week with would be about 6 weeks....took a few samples n she's hitting to say only dry a few days scent, flavor and effect are on point....still curing her out

Hello. This is the last pictures of the growing Sweet Zenzation. I'll be cutting them down after a couple of days of dark. I'm pleased with the way this plant grew. Big dense buds and the stock was strong enough to hold up the big buds. The buds have a darker color sort of purplish to them. The smell is pleasant, sweet and candyish. I wonder which fruit'z these Zkittlez tastes like?? : ) I'll cut some taster buds and let them dry while the buds are curing and be ready to make a smoke report when I come back with the harvest report. I topped both plants once thus far, cleared their lower nodes up to the 3rd node on "nemo" and 4th on "v" names are easier then saying seed 1 and seed 4. added pics and video of day 34/35 for these two. hope y'all can stand the slight off hue from grow light. pics/vids are taken on phone camera thru grow room glasses, when watered the 3 gal pots are heavy and not easy to yank out for a picture.

Mimosa Evo Clone doesn’t seem to like the new home and shows some yellowing on the tips. I assume that this might be some sort of Nitrogen toxicity but i keep a close eye on it. LST continues. Only Lemon Orange and Exotic Runtz have been topped and they will cover the most of the tent. They are going into Flowering end of this week.

Two distinct phenos growing here. Both small and tight with very nice frost and nice colors. There are MANY small buds. No main colas, so Im hoping that yield does not severely disappoint. Some very red stems on some of the specimens. Very interested to see the final form these girls take
