Getting so close to harvest!! She's just stacking the bud and trichromes daily! I'm watching the colors, waiting for ~60% amber. Smells amazing, like a funky orange cheese, some lite notes of vanilla/cream. Hopefully she's ready to dry this week Update Day 65: part of my original 600w light died, only 2/4 panels are working full power. I borrowed a "1000w" Amazon light from a buddy and set the 2 up for 900-1000ppfd in the cola/upper area, and 600-750 in all the lower areas. Going to run it like this for a few days and if she doesn't respond well I'll have to pull her a little early Day 67: dual lights seem to be really helping to bulk up the buds! Hopefully only a couple days left. Trichromes are ~75% CLOUDY, still very little amber yet (less than 5%). Terps are crazy, very OG/funk smell, once you touch the plant though it's like orange pixie sticks!!

Dia 1 de vegetación Veg1, cuando empiezan a crecer las primeras hojas de mas de un dedo/puntas considero que han dejado de ser plantulas, y han comenzado la vegetación. Entonces, les he dado su primer alimento con nutrientes muy suaves(micro, grow y bloom) en una EC de 0.5, con pH de 6.2, ademas de seguir inoculando la tierra y raices que vienen desarrollando con voodoo juice, tarantula y piranha, con 1/2 de fuerza. Veg2, riego con 0.3 EC y pH 6.1, desde el primer riego están creciendo más rápido. Veg3, riego con 0.6 EC y pH 6.0, primer riego con suficiente agua para obtener drenaje, el drenaje midió 1.2 EC y 6.5 pH, todo ok. Veg4, nada hoy. Veg5, riego con 1.2 EC y pH 6.2, se usó Sensi CalMag en este riego @2ml/litro por un poco de amarillo en el nuevo crecimiento, B-52 también. Veg6, siguen creciendo bien, al parecer se corrigió lo amarillo en las hojas. Veg7, riego con 0.7 EC y 6.0 pH, drenaje de 1.1 EC (ok) y 6.6 pH (un poco alto), siguientes riegos serán con pH 5.8. Subí la luz y bajé su intensidad para que las plantas estiren un poco antes del transplante, las raíces de la más pequeña estaban ok, la más pequeña fue sacrificada, ya van quedando 11 de las 9 plantas finales. Ahora a esperar que se desarrollen suficiente(3-4 sets de hojas verdaderas) para hacer transplante a la maceta definitiva de 18 litros.

Aug 23: Sunday Punch EV is very fast and is getting close to ready. The buds are getting quite big and are weighing down the branches. Without the Scrog net she would be too floppy for all these buds. Plants are a bit too green lately so maybe there’s too much N still, but she’ll grow out of it. For pH adjustments I use apple cider vinegar normally but I ran out last week and was using malt vinegar. That must be one of the sources of excess N so I switched to regular white vinegar. Anyway, she is a very impressive plant. Aug 27: getting noticeably frostier. Hot again today. Increased water volume to about 9 L per day done as three 3 L waterings in morning, afternoon and finally in evening. Adding potassium silicate still to water and adjusting pH with vinegar and then adding a squirt of Dr Bronners Peppermint Soap as a wetting agent (surfactant) and the smell supposedly keeps bugs away. Unfortunately there are hardly any insects around any more, so, yay. Aug 28: flash pics before using red light. Don’t do flash pics of your plants if you don’t follow it up with a red light. Still seems a bit risky but this is the fourth year doing it and it seems fine.

So it's been almost a week under the new MARS HYDRO FC4800 and the girls are loving it.. leaves were straight up like they were at a rock concert just blowing in the wind waving their arms like they are in the moshpit🤣🤣 looked so sweet👍. after a day they have stretched so much I had to raise the light already to keep it at 14 inches above the canopy. Plants grow so uniform under these lights, canopy is always nice and even👍. it has a whiter light than the mars tsw2000. Being side by side in my 8x8 tent, I can really see the difference in the color of light. The FC4800 is more of a white light like natural light. I think it might be the blue uv Diodes they added to the fc series lights. I'm amazed at how good this light is already. Barely any heat comes off it. I can rest my hand on it when the dimmer is at 100% and it's just warm. I have it daisy chained to my TSW2000 and it works awesome👍 and I dont have to reach for the other dimmer to do both. One dimmer controls both lights. When I add more lights I will daisy chain them too and control 4 lights from 1 dimmer👍. I still love my tsw2000. It's been going almost non stop since I got it and no issues at all. I take a picture of the Diodes to see if any have burnt out or anything, everything is fine.  same thing with the heat it gives off is just like the FC4800. I can rest my hand on it without burning me👍. Having both lights on 100% because I in flower now, only raises my temperature about 3°celcius. Make sure you got some calmag and if you use reverse osmosis water (bottled water) or filtered water you will want extra calmag because it's filtered out of it👍. These lights are perfect for every stage of growth for germination to flower. Just use the dimmers to reduce the intensity of the lights for whatever stage you are in. Plus they are easy to raise and lower them with the ratchet straps. MARS HYDRO'S recommended height for different stages is pretty accurate but different strains like different Temps and light sensitivity so that's something to look into, a more Mediterranean strain can take more heat and intense lighting. and you can just follow their recommendations for the height for each stage. I slowly turn it up in the later veg cycle until I'm at 75% about a week before I switch to 12/12 and after about 4 or 5 days into flower I'm at 100% with no heat or light stress👍. Mars hydro is awesome for their pricing for what you get👍. They should cost alot more than other brands but shhhhh don't tell them🤣🤣🤣🤣. Just kidding. they want to stay competitive with every brand but there stuff is always cheaper than SF and vipar etc. They know once you use mars hydro products you won't switch to another brand. Why pay more money for something that isn't as good. I've seen lights cheaper than mars but they are cheaper for a reason. They are built cheaper. My TSW2000 is fairly heavy too. But when it comes to getting lights you want some weight to it so you know it's built strong and sturdy and will last a long time.. I called customer service a few times and they will help you out with any questions you may have about the products and they are very well educated in their products👍 very helpful and very friendly. They are awesome 🤜🤛. I can't say enough about this grow tent too. The thing is a beast. I've owned a gorilla grow tent before and MARS HYDRO TENTS are better. Don't waste the money on a gorilla tent, get a mars and save a couple hundred bucks for your fertilizers and soils👍🤜🤛I could use the canvas tent to make a trampoline and i doubt it would break its that thick👍 I've had some cheaper tents made of 600d canvas and they aren't that bad. But when you get a tent made from 1680D canvas material it's insane how strong and heavy it is. Before I put the tent together when I lifted the canvas to start wrapping the frame I said to myself.. LORD TUNDERIN JESUS this has some nice weight to it. It was the easiest tent to put together that I've ever had. I went inside with the lights off and got someone to turn it on after a minute or two to look for light leaks and there was none👍. It even blocks out some noise, so if your fans or filters are loud, once it is zipped up it gets quieter. this tent is awesome with So many ports and vents for whatever you need to hook up to it. It has frame bars down the middle and one vertical pole in the middle to keep it sturdy but the poles are made nice and so thick that they probably didn't even need a vertical bar in the middle. It has 2 separate 4x8 floor trays that divide it into 2 4x8 tents. All you need is a mylar divider to easily divide it in half. I love the stickers it comes with. It's nothing big to some people but I know there is lots of people that like them because you see them everywhere in people's tents and in pictures. I love them they are super cool stickers👍. It really locks in the light and temperature and humidity good. Lots of room for all the equipment I have to go in it and will get to put in it. Be good to bring camping too🤣🤣🤣🤜🤛. Day 63...buds fattening up nicely...currently experiencing worst pollution on the planet with AQI of 300+ for most of the week which i fear is affecting growth..,..the buds look a lot browner in the pics, than i reality.. due to the post-apocalyptical tinge to the sky as the sun sets, though the smog

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. 01/01/2022 Potting up and amending with 5-2-4 to give a little kick before mid flower #6 is first girl to show herself, also got two different males and only difference is that one is lighter green and other darker green (also dark green one seems to drink more than lighter green) 💚. Other than that structure is very similar I wonder which is a better breeding male? I guess I might pollinate and LABEL TWO BRANCHES ON each female one for each male. and find out.🙏🏻 01/06/2022 #3 showed today, reppoted and into flowering closet, along with#6,who showed earlier this week lights at 14-10 see how they respond to that schedule, which should help use up the 5-2-4 going into week 3 should help with her stretch. Which isn't really that much I believe maybe double her current height, which I will check at lights on.Week ,#3 if I think of it I'll give a good fungal dominant tea.
